as usual the room was very large, well furnished and extremely comfortable. everything was spotlessly clean, the staff were excellent and the coffee lounge and bar restaurant performed beautifully. it was, as always, to the standard I have expected from the Plaza.

Sevlievo Plaza Hotel is the winner of Hotel of 2001 award of the Bulgarian Hotel and Restaurant Association.
The hotel is located in the central town square Svoboda. Wherever you arrive from - Veliko Tarnovo, Gabrovo or Sofia the modern hotel building will be the first place to see as a part of the architectural ensemble surrounding the town symbol - The Monument of Liberty.
The modern hotel is a place preferred not only by the guests of the town and the region but also by the business appreciating its conference and business meetings facilities. Thanks to its conference facilities the hotel is often visited by representatives of different state bodies and NGOs.
The hotel is preferred because Sevlievo is in the central part of Bulgaria and good transport connections from all parts of the country are available.

Sevlievo is a small town, but this hotel exceeded my expectations! Rooms are comfortable, clean and the service is good.
All the staff spoke English, so there were no issues during the stay.
Restaurant is good with a large menu and there is also a smaller cafe and an Irish Pub, so plenty of choice.
Located just across the road is the main town square that has several restaurants.

I can't really provide a review on the hotel service itself, since I live in town, but I can point out that their lobby bar, restaurant, cafe and Irish pub are open to the public. It is the largest and most well-known hotel in town and the aforementioned establishments could be described as the most "posh" around. The staff are always "fancy" dressed and very polite. In late May the restaurant hosts all the high school proms and there is a nice procession through the city centre, where the hotel is located before the graduates go to their "party". If you are lucky, this is where you can occasionally run into a Bulgarian "celebrity" as long as they are attending some event in the area.
