Banff Boutique Inn - Adults only
Banff, 121 Cave Avenue 🧭 Map
Recommended unreservedly. Exceedingly comfortable rooms and surroundings. Short 10 minute walk into town. Stunning view from living room. Huge tubs in bathroom. Very very comfortable beds and comforters. And the nicest people you’ll ever meet. These accommodations are in the nature of a B&B’s, but there is no cooked/served breakfast. self service cold cereal/coffee/tea is provided. There is also...
We recently stayed at the Banff Boutique Inn. It was an awesome experience. First, the owners and staff were extremely helpful and accommodating. While they avoid using harsh chemicals for cleaning, my wife has chemical sensitivity and the staff went above and beyond to ensure she was kept safe. On a daily basis, the staff asked her if everything was okay. The common kitchen area was set up so that...
Clean, great location and affordable! We were in Banff for a wedding and this accommodation fit the bill perfectly - we didn’t spend lots of time there, but the host was able to accommodate our request for an early check in to prepare for the event. We had a nice chat and history lesson about the house with the owner before we checked out. I would absolutely recommend this as a more affordable place...
This is an absolutely fabulous little place to stay in the perfect spot in Banff. With loads of parking, its a lovely 10min walk from the town centre over the river. Room was not the biggest but really comfy. The facilities for cooking, breakfast and relaxing are what set this place apart...as well as the amazing young crew who run the place like clockwork. Cannot recommend this place enough and would...
A unique experience in a lovely location with helpful staff and good facilities. The Inn is a short walk from the town centre and had free parking for guests. The rooms are very comfortable and the separate bathrooms have very good facilities. The communal areas, kitchen has coffee and tea available and storage for keeping your own food and various means of preparing your food, hobs microwaves. The...
Great place, perfect location a few minutes walk from Banff town centre. Run very efficiently by the team. Nothing too much trouble, good induction to communal facilities. Clean tidy, with freely available tea/coffee. Would definitely stop again.

Richard and Alison went above and beyond our expectations providing us with great activity/hike suggestions and tailoring the breakfast options to our needs! They are attentive hosts and go above and beyond for their guests during their stay!
OUTSTANDING OUTSTANDING OUTSTANDING
No other way to describe the Banff Bear! The accommodations were extremely comfortable, everything needed was in the kitchen and replenished daily ( fresh quart of milk and package of croissants every day!!) The location is very quiet and only 2-3 blocks from downtown and a great walking trail along the Bow river. Perfect! The hosts were always available but never...
We really enjoyed our stay at the Banff Bear! Richard the host was pleasant, responsive and accommodating. The location is great- short walk to the Main Street in Banff, but still very quiet and tucked away from the crowds/traffic. The suite was very comfortable (all 4 of us agreed) Beds were comfy and the blankets and pillows were great, everything was fresh and clean. The kitchenette area was well...
We had a wonderful stay in Banff! Richard and Alison were lovely hosts and very attentive. They checked in with us to make sure our trip was going well and to see if there was anything at all that they could help us with.
They provided breakfast each day and ensured our fridge was kept stocked. The unit was comfortable for 4 of us and it was nice to have the 2 bathrooms.
The unit was close to restaurants...
Stayed at the Bear Banff at the end of a ski holiday to Fernie.
The hosts Richard and Alison, were very welcoming, great to deal with both before and during our stay and kindly let us stay a little longer after check out to meet our airport transport. The accommodation itself is excellent, very clean and well appointed, with two large en-suite bedrooms, and an open plan lounge, dining and kitchenette...
Perfect to have en-suites for each of the two bedrooms. Kitchenette good for breakfast - we enjoyed yogurt and fresh berries with toast or a croissant each morning. Coffee and tea also available. All just perfect for needs. I suppose we could have asked for eggs or more to eat, but neither of us are large eaters when getting up. And I think a continental is usual. Our dishes were whisked away...

Staff friendliness, roomy living room and kitchen.
Andrew and his wife do a great job at keeping this cozy place clean and organized! The warm waffles and scrambled eggs that Andrew made for us every morning were delicious. We were very happy with the accommodation and the location was best in town! Walking distance to legit EVERYTHING.
We had a wonderful stay. We were in town over the summer for a long weekend to attend a wedding. Fantastic location, close to pick-up spot for tour buses and the main street with public transportation. The rooms are likely smaller than you're used to (tight even by NYC standards) but the bed was comfortable and the shower pressure and temperature were divine, though tight in terms of space. Great breakfast...
Such a convenient location! Very short walk to the main streets of Banff which was great. Our room was small but it was cheaper than the other rooms and there was not much available left when I booked so that was more my fault.
We were originally supposed to stay here during covid 2 years ago but had to cancel, they let us use the room credit to come back now which was appreciated!
Good continental...
3 1/2 stars for noise, old house floors creek but it has a charm to it. If your neighbor in the room beside is loud, you will hear everything. Ear plugs are a must. Clean rooms, clean house, definitely above basic but by no means luxurious. 4 stars for morning breakfast, kitchen area and friendly staff (Patrick)! I enjoyed my stay and the people I met. God bless!
What a great place! It's beautifully located, comfortable and fun! Looking forward to our next visit. Thanks a lot!

The hosts were friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The guest rooms were entered through a private entrance to the building that opened into a charming and well-stocked eating area and sitting area with a couch and fireplace. There was food for a self-serve breakfast and snacks available. The whole space was clean and well-decorated. The queen bedroom was spacious, comfortable, and had a sweet view...
Very cute, very cozy bed and breakfast. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating. They provide a lovely do it yourself breakfast and their garden area is beautiful. Would definitely stay here again!
The location is absolutely stunning, it was right at the base of a mountain and close to the Cascade Gardens, about a 10 minute walk beside the river to downtown. The host April had a lot of great suggestions for places to eat and since she was not doing the breakfast portion due to COVID 19, she still left a lot of little things in the kitchen common area so we could make our own breakfast. Yogurts...
April was a gracious and attentive host. The space was cozy since we had the smaller of the rooms, but it was perfect. The common area was great to relax on the couch with a cup of coffee or tea. Loved the treats that were left out for our enjoyment. The breakfasts were delicious and full of flavor. I'd recommend this to anyone looking for a local experience in town.
We had a lovely stay at the At Wits End B&B. April was a wonderful host - she made the best breakfasts of our two week stay in Canada! And even did us packed breakfasts on days when we were up early to explore - many thanks! The room was lovely as was the communal area. The location was also perfect to easily walk into Banff. Highly recommended!
At Wits end is close to everything. I enjoyed waking up early and walking everyday. April puts out a delicious breakfast every morning and truly enjoys her encounters with others. Just so much beauty everyday!!

If you book at this delightful bed and breakfast you are in for a gastronomical treat. The three course breakfasts are truly amazing. The room was large and comfortable. The room had thoughtful extras. We enjoyed the very quiet location but easy walking distance to downtown Banff.
Spent 4 nights here and will gladly spend many more here in the future. Only a few blocks away from downtown, and the rooms were spacious. But the most amazing part of this stay were Albert and Esther who made us feel at home from the beginning. Breakfast is worth ALL the hype you see in the reviews - we rushed home from seeing a sunrise because Albert's breakfast >>>>> most everything in life. They...
Absolutely the most amazing, perfect, place ever!! Wonderful hosts and location (couldn't want any better)!! Soooooo clean and spotless with the most beautiful rooms. 100% the best place I've ever been, and I've been all over the world. Trust me, you'd never get this level of service in a hotel!!!
It was our first trip ever to Banff but we found our "home" there - appreciation to Albert and Esther for taking care of us in every little detail during the whole week we stayed there. Their hospitality, caring, and sweetness are beyond compare. We will miss this trip dearly and surely visit again soon!
Best in Banff! We've stayed there for 2 nights for our honeymoon weekend and everything was spectacular from A to Z. It was such an amazing experience, every little detail in the house has its place and history. Albert and Esther are very friendly and have lots of stories to share, make sure to check out the history of this house.

Thank you very much for a wonderful stay, highly recommended and will book to stay again when returning to Banff.
The hotel here is a little on the older side, and about a 10-15 minute walk downtown. It has a bus stop right next to the green 1 which is convenient. The room we were in was on the top floor so the ceiling was so slanted that you had to walk directly next to the bed in order to not hit your head, which makes 1/4 of the room almost unusable. We found the elevators to be kind of clunky, loud, and not...
Very nice place to stay. Room was great except that the TV in the room had no streaming functionality with my phone (minor gripe). Hotel was a little noisy as well but otherwise, it was top notch and the staff was helpful and friendly.
Stayed a few nights.
Rooms were large and in good state of repair.
Breakfast busy at 6.30am and worth booking a table for evening meal.
Food very good and all the staff were very friendly.
Had a hours massage and best massage I have had.
They gave us nice map and useful information
Room was nice, spacious enough for 4 of us. Bathroom had a nice tub and the water has a big range in terms of temperature, I think it's from the glaciers as it can be really cold. Service was very happy to help, and location is good as it is 10 minute walk from everything and bus station is less than a minute away. The hot pool is also really warm, constantly kept at 40°C, very nice.

Big plus, the fire place with plenty of woodfire at the basement.
Lovely view from our balcony
Stayed two nights in a very spacious chalet which had its own fireplace and a balcony overlooking the outdoor hot tub. The hot tub is amazing! Wish it stayed open past 9PM but it’s a great place for everyone, including little ones where they can enjoy their indoor water slides.
Douglas Fir please invest in your own hotel. For the $300+ per night premium that we paid I honestly expect more. Its a great family place but the comfort is lacking. Get new mattresses with fitted sheets and update the furniture and kitchens. The laminate countertops and tables are peeling. The carpet is dodgy. There is soot around the vents. The tiles are sticky.
I would love to return for the experience...
We visit this hotel every year and from my observation the service has declined noticeably. The place used to be 4 stars stable, now it is 2-3 stars. It is 2022 ,come on! Do some renovation, some upgrades on electrical appliances, fire place, furniture ,for such a price! I remember the first time we came in there was a cereal and essential food in the kitchen plus assorted coffee and tea. Now they...
This isn’t just your normal hotel! The rooms have everything you need for your stay—even cookware, full kitchen. Sure, you pay a little more, but you get a lot more. We surely appreciated the wood-burning fireplace, waking up to coffee and snow. So beautiful! Tons of walking trails just outside your door. And still close to downtown. Probably will be coming back here again. Thanks so much.

The staff was amazing, and the amenities were on point. Clean and friendly. All.arpundbgreat experience.
Our room was great; very clean, updated comfortable furniture and a beautiful view of the forest/ with mountain view poking through behind the trees. Love being able to have a real fire in the room, so cozy for our stay in Banff. The hot tub is excellent; clean, good size and nice environment. We had great service from all hotel staff and servers at the restaurant. Highly recommend!
From start to finish our visit was amazing. Liam helped me carry very heavy luggage up the stairs, the service staff at the restaurant were all so attentive and kind. The room looked exactly like the pictures, amazing view. A cab was about $12 to the main Banff area which wasn't bad. Overall I would highly recommend the buffalo mountain Lodge and we will 100% be back.
We came for our mini-moon in October. We loved the room. It was very romantic to have the fireplace in our room with free wood. I personally used the claw tub several times and loved the heated floor. We ate at the Prow several times and loved the food. The location is right up the hill from downtown Banff with a bus that takes you straight down. We will be returning!
This is a beautiful location and wonderfully out of the way spot to get away from hustle and bustle. The hot tub is amazing. While the rooms are decently appointed - there are a few little details that would make them 5-star. The room we had wasn’t super clean. Beautiful inside and out. Room had a strange but nice layout. 2 beds divided by a bathroom, the two sinks was perfect. Parking behind the building was convenient. Walking distance from the main street. Lobby has a cafe which i thought was great
I didnt come for the breakfast, though it was free, it was what i expected for free breakfast. Not great.
Lovely hotel. We had stunning views out of the front balcony. The beds were so comfortable. The room was comfortable and very spacious. All the staff were attentive and nothing was too much trouble. Really enjoyed the breakfast. Don't miss the homemade granola. Coffee from the café was delicious.
Ideal location decent sized rooms with isolated bedrooms for kids and parents between rest rooms. Breakfast very minimalist choice, would recommend to have at least some pancakes for kids. Overall great place else for expense price for a night.
The exterior appearance takes away from how nice it is inside. My room was excellent, modern in decor and appearance. Would have thought it had been recently renovated. The shower stall/room?? was huge. Really wide balcony.

Breakfast was excellent. Nice room but not very central.
We stayed at Brewster lodge for 3 nights in February. Large enough rooms, we received fresh towels every day. Beds were very comfortable, and to be honest I don’t remember when I slept that well.
Free breakfast was good. And we really enjoyed it. Heated underground parking and great central location. Our room did not have a fridge but it can be requested for free. Thank you!
Staying at this lodge was the best decision we made! It was central to all the shops and restaurants in Banff, as well as all the bus stops. Very accessible. A great location, walking distance from all the shops in the village of Banff. Rooms were clean, and staff were friendly. Price was very competitive to what was offered around Banff. My family and I came here for a couple nights last October. The food was good and the room we stayed was very comforting. The servers at the restaurant were very friendly and the pool area was clean and delightful! We’ll definitely consider coming back here. Great hotel!
