It was a wonderful historic hotel, but the shower water volume and facilities in the bathroom were a bit inconvenient.
I requested the amenities every time and they won't bring them in one time. I need to call them couple times. I won't stay this hotel anymore
It's my first time staying at Fairmont Gold. The service and facilities are excellent, especially the Lounge.
Stayed for two days, the hotel was clean and sanitary, the food was delicious, and I didn't have time to experience the hot springs. It's worth staying for one night.
The Fairmont Banff Springs was absolutely amazing! We can’t wait to go back in the summer! Five Stars ⭐️
We absolutely loved the hotel; it’s worth every penny spent! This is an experience everyone should try at least once in their life. Delicious restaurants, wonderful staff. We will definitely return there again!

My family comfortably enjoyed our three day stay here during family day long weekend. My room views was gorgeous mountain view and the ambience of the hotel were GREAT. The room was clean and comfortable. Staffs were kind. I loved Sauna and warm pool after skiing. Cafe/Bar open early and close late, which was very helpful when we were leaving early for the ski or felt hungry after swimming. I would...
I just recently returned from a 2 night stay here for a little getaway to Montreal and had a great experience. I'm not sure what other reviewers are seeing, but the hotel was in great shape - everything looked new and smelled so clean. Our room was spotless, smelled good (better than any hotel I've ever stayed at), and was comfortable. It wasn't anything fancy, which is to be expected when booking...
It was amazing experience. I planned a surprise birthday for my wife and with the help of Sunny I was able to manage everything. Definitely visiting again. Even at the restaurant the chef went above and beyond to prepare our dish as per our desire. I recommend anyone who wishes to have a get away with family. Excellent customer service- keep up the good work guys.
Extremely enjoyed our stay here. Cleanliness rating 9/10. The views and the ambience of the hotel are GORGEOUS. Breakfast is great. Lunch and dinner menus need improvement as there aren’t much vegan/vegetarian/kosher/halal options. But tasty food all in all! Been to many hotels in the area, the Rimrock easily comes first place.
This is such a beautiful hotel. It is out of town but with the free bus and the very accommodating concierge/bell desk we had no issues getting about. The bell desk go above and beyond & are totally amazing giving lifts with ski gear to get you to places on time or after a shop. Thank you also to housekeeping for looking after us. Loved our 9 night stay, wish it didn’t have to end!
Valet was horrible, no help so we self parked. Check in personnel was great. In room dining was fabulous, restaurant staff was fabulous, but the rooms are dated. The jacuzzi tubs are filthy and the carpets are very worn. I use to love this hotel but may reconsider in the future. I don’t feel like I’ve got what I’ve paid for.

Not been recently, but stayed during ski season and definately made to right choice. The decor was a little jaded, but, for the price was ideal and considering so many wet feet coming in and out the place was pretty clean. The view from the room of the mountains was breathtaking. Stayed twice and would do so again.
Room services weren’t available when I was there because a large group took priority over dining. Rooms decently clean. I was in the pet friendly room. Deck wasn’t washed from dogs prior. So bed they gave us was “well used”. Breakfast was good! Air conditioning didn’t work and it was uncomfortably warm.
Decent accommodation for it's price. A bit dated but serves it's purpose. Best part is lots of deers come right up to the entrances. Really cool for the kids! Kinda wish they had their outdoor hot spring since there is a massive sign in the front that says so, yet it's been gone for years... Owner really should remove the false advertising :p
Nice hotel. This is the second time I got a room at the Inns of Banff for my ski trip in the area. Its a very nice hotel and fairly priced. Its on the edge of town, so expect a 20 minute s walk to get downtown, but I enjoyed the short walk after supper or a night out. I'm not giving it its fifth star because the first time around, it had the sweetest outdoor hot pool, but I was closed this year. Bring...
Slightly out dated but it was nice to have a balcony with a beautiful view of the mountains. The bars was good and the food was great! The hotel restaurant offered a buffet breakfast but it was more like a continental breakfast with sausage and bacon. For the price, you would have been better off ordering from the menu.
Not one to care if the rooms are dated, me and my family really enjoyed our stay. The room was big and had an amazing view, my daughter loved the Jacuzzi tub in our room and the king size bed. Aside from one server who worked in the hotel everyone was quite friendly and helpful. My only real complaint will sound like a broken record if you read through all of the reviews, cleanliness. I believe because...

Hotel is very expensive for the service and amenities you get.bathroom wasnt cleaned and coffee maching wasnt working
Pros: Extremely good location. They have an attached restaurant and cafe right next to the hotel. Very clean facilities. Rooms spacious and has nice views of the town. Staff always very polite and helpful in giving recommendations and allowing us to use the telephone. Able to store bags there after checking out as well. Cons: no safe provided in the room Highly recommend staying here!
Great location, walkable to all the shops, in the town centre of Banff! The room was comfortable for a family of 4, the shower was decent. I like the spaciousness of the loft when you have so many luggages. The hot chocolate station in the evening is a nice touch. There is a famous farm & fire restaurant in the hotel which we didn’t get to try. The indoor parking is $5 CAD.
Very convenient location, nice and spacious room, nice restaurant and cafe on main floor and good service.
The location was right at Banff Ave. Hotel has free parking, so I can explore downtown without any concerns. The room is sufficient. And the staff were just so sweet to celebrate our honeymoon with us. We are thankful for that. Highly recommend.
Very good location, parking is also very convenient. Room is acceptable. However, the service is great. Quite helpful and friendly. Offer lot of local advices. If come back next time, this is hotel will be my first choice.

Friendly staffs and nice location
The hotel is in a great position. I had a suite that was on the second floor with a balcony at the front of the hotel. It was a bit noisy at night with people outside and in the rooms nearby. The room was great except there were no drawers at all, so you need to live out of your suitcase. The internal heating was noisy. Very relaxing place and I wish I could stay Ionger! I will definitely come back
A beautiful and super convenient place to stay if you want to be close to Banff Town. We really enjoyed relaxing in the heated pool, hot tub, and dry sauna - it was the perfect way to unwind after a long day of exploring. The family suite came with a lot of great perks: having our own kitchenette made it easy to cook meals and having two bathrooms was a big plus for four people- it made the say much...
It was my first time to experience a traditional North American house with a fireplace. It was a great living experience. There is also a hot spring pool with a great atmosphere. There is free parking, and there are many shops in the surrounding town, so it is convenient for shopping. Not bad, I will stay here again if I have the chance.
Another great trip to the resort!! Excellent and very friendly customer service!! the hot tub with a view of the mountains is amazing!!
It was so great to enjoy the beautiful Rocky right in front of me. I was able to rest my tired body by enjoying the warm hot springs, and I had a more meaningful rest by the fire. I plan to go again next time.
The fireplace was nice to set the mood. However, the heater didn't seem to work as well as I thought, so the room was very cold. I'm satisfied with the hot tub.

Room was great! Location was 10 minutes from Banff town centre which was great!
The location of this place is great - very walkable and has decent size rooms with comfy beds. The one thing we noticed when getting into the room was a tear in the bedsheets, which seemed clean but odd to put on the bed. Friendly staff which is always a plus!
Great inn 15mins walk from downtown. If you can't walk or don't feel up to it they have regular buses which leave from right outside. Great spa pool, sauna and steam room free to use as a guest!
Very nice rooms and the location is spot on, being on Banff Ave. The covered parking is a blessing especially in the frigid months. The rooms are very spacious and have all the modern amenities while still retaining the rustic charm.
Have stayed here quite a few times and been more than satisfied with the stay. The staff have always been polite and helpful. The breakfast is basic but it's included! Rooms are good with plenty of space, overall for the price I've always paid it's a good deal.

Amazing stuff, very comfy houses, everything you can ever need for your family is here.
A nice place to stay, clean, decent service and good options for room types. Reasonable rates and our room had a real fireplace. The pool was small but clean. Our room faced the mountains and trees. Dog friendly and relatively quiet. The bathroom was a little crowded and the signs aren't very easy to see unless you have been in the area before. Very enjoyable really.
What an out of the way gem! I had never stayed at any of the tunnel mountain drive resorts, and this one with it's awesome mountain cabins was a major win! My kids loooooved the pool, watching the sunrise while swimming with them was definitely a cool experience! I loved the free firewood and the modern yet rustic feel to the cabin. Super prompt service when I requested more kindling (firewood and...
Really liked this place. The rooms are nice and one of the most spacious I've stayed in the parks. Loved the kitchen and sauna too. Staff were super friendly and helpful. And apparently there are bus vouchers into town. We didn't need it but was nice to have. And surprisingly our room was in the "basement" but we still had a nice window with a decent view of the mountains!
We had a great stay. The room was comfy and clean. The kitchen had everything we needed. The balcony had a nice view to beautiful pine trees. The a/c worked perfectly. The staff were very polite. Most is great with this place. Lovely staff, clean comfortable rooms. Got the one queen and two single bed room... which is great when traveling with two teen boys. The front desk was amazing! We were able to sort out registration with ease. The view from the resort was beautiful. Our unit was 2 story with 2 bathrooms and a full kitchen. It was nice to feel like we had space. There were a few things that could use maintenance but they were already working on them. The place had 2 hot tubs and a pool. Such a wonderful evening with our family!
I absolutely loved our experience at this resort. We only stayed one night and were thoughtfully upgraded to a loft suite. We absolutely loved the new renovations the resort had undertaken. I don't know why but I was enchanted by all the small details in this space, such as gorgeous little hooks for coats, and even the little knobs in the kitchenette. The loft condo was completely equipped with extra...
It's a nice lodging. Sitting in an outdoor hot tub while it's snowing is pretty cool! In my opinion it's worth the price. You basically get a 1 bedroom apartment and all the basics you need kitchen wise. There's also a fireplace in the living room to have a fire if you choose to purchase firewood. We have the 1 bedroom condo and it is perfect for my husband and I. There is a small restaurant on site...
I had a great experience overall staying in one of the condos for a full week to snowboard at the Banff area resorts. Great resort for our week in Banff. The service was always quick to respond to anything we needed. There was a large family of elk that visited the grounds multiple times, along with lots of birds and squirrels. The rooms were good with a nice TV and kitchen (dishwasher was a plus). This hotel is cozy ! The building is on the older side and it is very notable. However for the price and location it is a very good stay ! We booked the standard room, and found it to be a bit on the smaller side but it was still comfortable. We were very happy with the balcony ! We had a pleasant view. Smaller rooms, older but clean. Definitely not staying at the Ritz but it does just fine if you're looking for a place to sleep in between hiking, exploring and shopping! Covered parking as well. Breakfast was okay - eggs, sausage, potatoes...
Very noisy, day and night. Couldn't figure out how to use the tap in the sink and the shower at first (pull out to for water and turn knob for water temperature change.) Rooms are a little small. Rooms could use a little maintenance and the wifi could be improved by not disconnecting when not in use but otherwise very good.

Beautiful mountain views from our room. The rooms definitely need some upgrades, they were pretty small and rustic compared to what the website made them seem like. Service could be better as we had asked ahead of time for champagne glasses in our room, then when we asked again...
This property offers exceptional mountain and hot tub experiences. The open patio and comfortable bed provide stunning views, encompassing both mountain and lake vistas. Barbecue facilities are also available. However, complimentary bottled water, a typical amenity at comparable three-star hotels, is not provided.
What a fabulous hotel. The front desk folk were absolutely amazing. Nothing was too much trouble, very informative with trip recommendations and places to eat. Will definitely return. Photo is the mountain view from our room.
What a STUNNING location. Get a room with a view. I sat for hours just admiring the mountains from my room which also had a little patio area. The staff were so kind and the dining in the hotel was five stars. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Banff. The hot tub is small but I was lucky to have it to myself since I went mid week. This felt like a little retreat only five minutes out of the town center
We had a lovely stay at the Juniper & loved their shuttle service! The only downside was the hot tub felt more like a bath. However, we had the most beautiful view from our room!
The cost is a bit high during the peak season. Overall it is clean. It is close to Banff Town and the surrounding is quiet. The only drawback is that there is no elevator. You need to carry your luggage upstairs by yourself. However, the staff are very enthusiastic and will ask if you need help

Well positioned in the center of Banff. Excellent breakfast in the Brazen restaurant. Also loved the hot tubs on the roof. Even good when snowing. The view of the mountains whilst in the hot tub is awesome.
I don’t know why I’ve never stayed at this hotel before!! The location is AMAZING! Our check in with Katie was 10/10 - she was so friendly, professional and helpful! Some pros: -Great location in downtown Banff right on the Main Street, easy access to restaurants and shops. -The roof top hot tub is amazing and has beautiful views. Location was perfect right in the centre of Banff; staff were very friendly and helpful. Loved the hot tub on the roof after a long day hiking! The Brazen restaurant was great for breakfast and we also treated ourselves to an evening meal there which was fabulous.
We enjoyed our stay at Mount Royal. The location of the hotel is perfect and close to primary bus stops which was helpful given we didn't rent a car. Room was clean and beds were comfortable. We got a good deal for a last minute booking for a night's stay. Great location, our room was cosy and compact, faced east on Banff Ave. and the mountains for a beautiful sunrise. No airconditioning but they do have a remote controlled ceiling fan. Good stay if you don't intend to spend much time in the room.
Nice hotel right in downtown Banff. Free parking. Free WiFi. Could hear the street noise from my room on the 3rd floor with the windows closed. But, I did not mind the noise. Beds were clean. Washroom nice and tidy.
Cute little hotel that was perfect for our one night between staying at our resort and camping! The lady at the check in counter was friendly, the room was clean, and the bed was large, fluffy, and comfy. There was even a cute electric fireplace in the room! And the remote control ceiling fan was a bonus that made the room nice and breezy at night so we could enjoy snuggling in the fluffy comforter
Rooms are small but tidy and comfortable. Front desk was very helpful and given the poor weather on this trip I was thankful for the heated parkade. If you are hoping to walk to around Banff this hotel is right downtown.
Staff are great. Ok rooms with nice tv, and fireplace. A bit pricey tho for a small room, bed was needing a replacement. no ac in room. Parking is a short walk.

Nice basic hotel, good walking distance to Banff main street. Room was spacious and clean. Comfortable beds. Our room was located on the farthest side of the building so it’s very quiet. The jets on the tub were not working. They have heated basement parking but very limited spaces and low overhead clearance.
Our first stay was decent, we had a few small issues which we mentioned to the staff. The owner contacted us right away and went above and beyond to make things up! Recently spent 4 nights at Irwin’s. The staff is super friendly and responsive, rooms are clean and beds are comfy. Nicely located in Banff Ave to walk further into town, easy access to restaurants and grocery and shopping. The in house restaurant is great also
