Quality Inn & Suites 1000 Islands
Gananoque, 650 King St. East 🧭 Map
The Quality Inn location is very good, 2 minutes from the highway. Rooms are very clean and the facility is well maintained. Owners and staff are very helpful. Conveniently located by thousand islands and provide luxury of hotel in the country side setting.
It's about what you would expect from a motel that is part of a chain. Room was fine albiet a little crowded for 3 people, and the beds were comfortable with clean sheets. Some minor complaints, the front door of our room didn't close properly so we had to push it hard for it to close. Also the floor wasn't the cleanest. That said this is probably one of the better places to stay at in the area.
My wife and I had a great time for our one night stay in Gannanoque. Conveniently located to several restaurants and fast food options, but for us the best part was the jacuzzi in the room!
What a pleasant surprise, and we never expected that. Rooms were clean and property was quiet.
We will choose this location for our next stay when we come to this area again.
You get what you pay for. Rip in carpet, paint flaking in bathroom ceiling. Don’t drink the juice at breakfast. Under $100 though.

I wish they had better blanket options than just the sheet one which was so rough on the body and also the breakfast options weren’t that great. The eggs were smelly so it was unbearable to eat.
Place was clean, staff was beyond nice and the property itself was just so cute!!
We stopped in randomly and ended up extending our stay. Great spot! Will be back this summer :)
We stayed in courtyard room, place is good rooms are spacious and clean. Font desk was very nice and understanding. Will definitely visit again. Many thanks
Like the room, hot tub and bed . The room was clean and comfortable. Heating unit is loud, cold floors in winter. Room is nice but some parts of the room are well worn and need to be replaced or repaired. Was disappointed that the indoor pool was closed for renovations and that the free breakfast was a take out bag which had minimal items, no fruit. Not bad but not great.
If you're looking for a clean hotel room with a jacuzzi tub, this place has the biggest jacuzzi tubs I've ever seen. It's not a five star hotel but for the price, the location service & rooms are great, I'll be back!
Absolutely huge place the room was really big aswell as the bathroom!! A bit of a maze trying to find the room. The only thing I would really complain about would be the over all cleanliness of the room the floor in bathroom was dirty and a few other small things but other then that it's a good place to visit!

This place is so beautiful and the price is acceptable. We stayed 2 nights and really enjoyed it. It's exactly near the boots that go through the island. I recommend the restaurant too, the food is great.
Hope you go and enjoy like us.😊
One of the finest resort to view best scene of the lake. Food and drinks are must try. Accommodation is awesome. most convenient to roam around cruises and downtown.
This place was absolutely incredible. I have been coming here for over a decade. The hotel has recently gone through lost of upgrades and renovations and rooms, services and location perfect. Staff were helpful and friendly and the food at the restaurant tasted great.
recently been there for 2 days and there was nothing special about this place. the free breakfast was below our expectations and took more than 30 minutes for serving and also there wasn't any fridge or hairdryer in room which made us upset. if you want to spend more than $300 per night, its better for you to go and visit the other places. you probably may find more valuable places.
Me and my boyfriend had never been to Gananoque, and what a pleasant experience!! Such a beautiful small town, and such a perfect spot for a hotel.
The staff were beyond helpful and sweet.
We will for sure come back!
This was a really pleasant stay and the view was gorgeous! The staff were very accommodating and friendly. There was a confusion with my booking, and they did their best to resolve the issue and give us a room we were happy with.
Thank you for the lovely experience. We hope to be back and miss the beautiful view already!
I would recommend booking the water facing rooms. I have attached an image of...

Trinity House Inn
Gananoque, 90 Stone St. South 🧭 Map
A wonderful historic inn. Jacques and staff were gracious and helpful hosts. The room was clean, tidy and comfortable. The complimentary warm breakfast was a delightful surprise.
A very charming inn to stay during a road trip; you can definitely feel the history of the place and imagine yourself in the late 1800’s. The place was clean. We stayed in the smaller, Georgina room which had a private bathroom located down the hall. The garden area is super cute and, most importantly, the people working there were very welcoming and kind. We’ll definitely look to stay here again!
We really liked staying at Trinity House Inn. It didnt feel like a hotel, but like a home. The owner Jacques is a generous and kind man. We would love staying here again once we're back
A lovely place. Quirky, beautiful and filled with charm. Our room was small, but perfect for our needs, and absolutely spotless. Large dining area with breakfast options cooked to order. The service was exceptional. The garden area is stunning, everything seems to be lovingly maintained. Located very central to everywhere you would like to go, including right by the water.
Our host was very hospitable and gave us a tour as soon as we arrived. The home, while older, is full of character and you can tell it's been reverently maintained. There's a lovely back yard/patio area and it would've been a great place to have a glass of wine had it not been a rainy day.
Our room felt a bit dated but we didn't have any complaints. The bathroom could use an update but I liked the...
It's a very nice place to stay very clean well-kept and very beautiful inside the only one little pet peeve I had was you still had to pay for breakfast on top of your stay. Other than that I would recommend it to anybody

We stayed here for one night with our family while driving between Montreal and Toronto, and it was exactly what we needed. The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. The service was friendly and helpful, and the price was very reasonable. A perfect stop to rest and recharge—would definitely stay again!
Absolutely loved this little place. Very nice room, very friendly and close to everything you may need. Highly recommended
Great place to stop on a road trip! Clean, new room interiors with very nice beds and linens. The fridge is the best one I've ever seen in a motel: works, has a separate freezer and QUIET!
This establishment is absolutely perfect. The room was well equipped and comfortable. The staff was very nice and helpful. I am always honest in my reviews and I highly recommend this place for anyone no matter your status.
This Motel is of standards. It’s very clean and very comfortable. The AC works incredibly well. It’s right beside a gas station and an A&W, very convenient. It’s 10-15 mins from any Major attraction of Kingston. I would definitely book it again and i absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a nice peaceful stay in Kingston.
My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights in early June 2024.
(Extended our stay from 2-3 days)
Right from arrival for our checking in we were greeted with friendly welcoming faces, the management are awesome to say the least and sincerely very caring!!
Our room was very clean, and well equipped with coffee, creamers…

Delta Hotels by Marriott Kingston Waterfront
Kingston, 1 Johnson Street 🧭 Map
Every staff member we encountered was absolutely wonderful and friendly. My kids LOVED the pool and the room service/restaurant food was fantastic. Can't wait to come back.
Great location, but awful parking. Staff were super friendly. Rooms are pretty typical for a delta, clean and comfortable. Renovations were underway, but had no impact on my stay. Overall, it's great if you need to be in this area (like I did). If your location is a bit more flexible, the extra cost of staying and parking here is just not worth it.
Good location on waterfront and quick access to downtown. Hotel rooms are average, staff friendly. Wife and I ate breakfast in hotel and food was fine but the waitress automatically added tip to our bill. I asked why it’s just us two and I want to leave the tip not you automatically do it. I understand if we have a large party. She told me all the hotels are doing it, that was a lie. We have no problem...
The lobby cleaners, the servers at bar and restaurants, the room cleaners, most front
desk staff were amazing! Most front desk staff were incredible!
We had a young man on Saturday, and a young lady Sunday, who served us, and they were
so professional, so accommodating, so personable, just lovely.........that was in the Aqua Terra restaurant. Breakfast both days was so good!

It was a standard Delta Hotel but has a stunning River View! The room was newly renovated but if all the details would be thoroughly taken care, that would be a lot better! The front desk team was great, friendly, and helpful. I had an early check in request, they were kindly able to accommodate! Appreciate that! The restaurant Aqua Terra was amazing! The service and food were remarkable! I give a...
I lived in Kingston for 30yrs but have lived away for the last 9yrs. I decided to bring my in-laws for a visit and choose to stay here. This was my first time staying in a hotel in my home town and I wish I did a long time ago. From the moment I walked in, the front desk staff (Mina in particular) were so full of energy and welcomed me like family. The hotel was clean, bright, up to date and has the...

I was a former employee there, was working as a Night Auditor. I must say that this was the best place that I had worked in my entire life. During past 6 years, I had worked in 4 different organizations, but the working atmosphere that I felt working at four points was super super amazing. All employees are so nice and helpful. They have a wonderful staff. Everyone is amazing. The front desk manager...
Our daughter was married on Saturday, Sept. 24, 2022 at the Four Points Sheraton (Kingston). After resolving some initial concerns regarding the planning a few weeks before the wedding, we have nothing but positive comments. Christopher and Alex were extremely helpful taking care of all the details and setup for the ceremony and reception. The staff and servers were polite and professional and the...
I reserved a block of rooms for my wedding guests at the Four Points by Sheraton and would highly recommend them! Kristen was very responsive by email and phone, and helped me through the entire process of booking and then rebooking when we rescheduled our wedding due to the pandemic. The guests who stayed here enjoyed themselves, especially my parents who were given the Mayor's Suite and my brother...
Very comfortable rooms and good customer service. I was there for a work conference with a large group and they provided reasonable price for the rooms and included underground parking with it. I would stay there again.
The hotel is very nice, good condition, rooms clean, location is brilliant - steps to the waterfront. The rooms were warm but at night I like them cold and the air conditioner just behaved like a fan and did little to cool the room down (to be fair, it was April, but any hotel I've stayed in, I could make it cool with internal controls). Thankfully we could open up a window. This is really 4.5 out...

Hotel Belvedere
Kingston, 141 King Street East 🧭 Map
The place has a ton of potential but feels stuck in 2002. The internet was definitely not high speed as advertised. My partner and I booked the place for a working retreat and were stymied by this issue and we ended up leaving a day early.
The room itself was nice and the breakfast was pleasant. Some small upgrades would go a long way to renew this historical gem of a property for another decade of...
Just stayed at the Belvedere for a Birthday weekend staycation. We were definitely underwhelmed by the property. It is looking very tired and definitely needs some updating. I am aware that an old property like this is hard to maintain and expensive to renovate, but it is time.
The suite was impeccably clean, had decent towels, and a comfy bed. But, it also had pillows that were well past their natural...
My wife and I were in town for a pre-wedding photo shoot, but when the weather changed to awful, we needed to find some last minute indoor locations. A friend recommended Hotel Belvedere, and we were so happy they did. The hotel is gorgeous, with some excellent spots for a very cool photo shoot. The staff were very helpful, and offered the location free of charge. Next time we're in Kingston, we'll...
Wonderful! I was making the big move to Kingston this fall, and couldn't take possession of my new apartment until a week after I had to start at my new workplace. The Hotel Belvedere made me feel right at home!

Always a good experience at the Belvedere. Charming, comfortable old world elegance as well as friendly and helpful staff. Great location in Kingston, walking distance to downtown.
Great location and lovely staff. The hotel is old and beautiful and our room was huge (with gorgeous high ceilings) and clean. Breakfast was an English muffin, some cheese, a lovely glass of orange juice, & plenty of coffee. And there was fruit laid out. A small breakfast was perfect, as we were off to a Food Tour that started at 11:00. (On day 2, we were able to eat in our room while we finished packing...

Breakfast was nice but limited. Very quiet and peaceful. Sitting area on porch was lovely. Wished we had time to use the fire table-nice touch. Went the extra mile with small things like freshly baked cookies, bubbly in fridge, chocolate, ice in hallway.
We stayed in the Premium King room on our wedding night and had the best experience! It felt like we had arrived in Italy when we entered into the beautiful stone arch door. I loved that they had real keys in envelopes, it felt like such an authentic experience. The interior is so beautiful and modern, they've done an amazing job with the renovations. The room was lovely, spacious, with a super comfortable...
I absolutely LOVE this hidden gem in Kingston. First of all, it is esthetically gorgeous in decor. The property has lots of green space and little places to sit and enjoy. The patio has seating with a fire to stay cozy by. Our room was very comfortable. The bathroom was spacious with 2 sinks and a huge shower. Again, tastefully designed. I love the gift of Rosé bubbles and chocolates. Fresh...
We splurged on the last night of a much needed vacation and road trip. The property, room, staff, breakfast, amenities, cleanliness were all 5-star! Our room had perfect bedding, towels, great shower, espresso coffee maker and a fireplace in our romantic room (if ONLY it had been cold we would have lit it!). Appreciated the care of friendly staff, the LGBT+ heart in the window, and the text reminder...
Rosemount Inn is such a beautiful historical masterpiece of architecture and history on one of the most beautiful streets in Kingston. The rooms are beautiful. The service is great. I would 100% stay here again when visiting Kingston and...
We had an amazing stay at the Rosemount! We felt very well welcomed and taken care of. Every little detail was very much appreciated, from the little gifts in the room to the snacks in the entrance! We needed a room for a day use as we were having repairs done to plumbing. This Inn gave us a beautiful king allowing our cat as well. We were able to check in at 10 and stay til. 5. Other major hotels in Kingston would not accommodate us. Very helpful front desk/ manager.
The Maple Crest Inn is a two story motel in need of serious renovations. Its features are adequate for a desperate and inexpensive stay but the comfort is lacking and aroma of cleanliness is hard to appreciate. It's not dirty but I wouldn't take my shoes off or set a bag on the floor. I didn't even bring my pet inside for fear of gaining some new pest. The cigarette burned carpet and furniture was...
Maple Crest Motel provided a basic accommodation option. The room was clean and functional, serving its purpose for a short stay. The staff was friendly and helpful, ensuring a smooth check-in process. However, the amenities were minimal and somewhat outdated. Additionally, the location wasn't as convenient as expected, making it necessary to drive for nearby attractions. While suitable for budget...
Very friendly staff all around. Always a pleasant stay when I travel. I've never had an issue while staying here. Rooms have always been clean, AC works well, beds are comfortable. A couple things around the building could be fixed or deep cleaned, but always very happy with my choice to stay here. Will gladly come back.
The room was fine my mother is blind so she recieved a handcap room as requested. They were behind on their shoveling and room cleaning was slow. Good breakfast. If you like soft toliet paper buy your own. The young guy was nice but the older fokes were a bit stand offish. All round good quality if you need a room for a decent price it was just under $100 a night
Rooms were a little cold on arrival. Adjoining room door wouldn't open all the way. Other than that the room was good. Breakfast was only okay. Nothing to write home about. A shame about all the disposable dishes — makes for a lot of waste.

This is my favorite accommodation for summer stays in Kingston. Not open when students move in. It is quite basic, but all necessary servicers are available, rooms and the property clean and well maintained. Conveniently located just across from the Ontario park. Staff is welcoming and helpful.
There are some stains on my pillow and towels. The doors are also hard to lock and you can hear other people’s washrooms extremely clearly. The walls are quite thin here.
It's a college residence. If you are ok with that then it's great. Clean, quiet and decent location. Excellent for the money. Breakfast is meagre but it's free.
Great as far as college dorms go. Bed was fairly hard and water pressure in the shower was too low but it's the cheapest in the area.

It is what it is. You get what you pay for. Nothing really negative stands out. The staff were extremely friendly which was nice after a long work day. I would suggest though that they take a broom around the room at ceiling height to get rid of the spiders and webs. Also, larger bath towels would be great.
A nice place to stay, that's great value, has friendly staff, and is in a pretty convenient location.
The rooms are adequately furnished, very cozy, and seem to be well-maintained. They're well equipped, with a TV, phone, and coffee-maker; and the wifi works a treat.
The only downside -- and it's a minor one -- is that the walls seem a bit on the thin side; so you will hear people in the rooms next...
I keep coming back year after year to this wonderful motel for so many reasons. Convenient location, clean rooms, quiet and a great value. But what brings me back is the friendly owners!
