My girlfriend and I visited this place recently. I'd been there back in 2016 and loved it, so I figured why not try it again?
Well, I was pleased to discover that new management took over. The room design and music was a great blast from the past, with 80s tunes playing in the empty restaurant where the service took forever.
I also loved how I was able to get so much stuff done while I waited for the freezing shower to warm up. Just had to leave it running for roughly 10-15 minutes.
The food was a great exercise for my mouth. I ordered a burger at dinner. Never had a crunchy burger before, but that's what happens when it's half burnt. Breakfast was nice, with flat, cut up "scrambled eggs" and cold bacon that felt like shoe leather. Also appreciated the new twist on home fries, which consisted of half a cold baked potato.
Ever had raw pancakes before? If not, Gananoque Inn is the place to go!
But the most memorable part would be the nachos. Talk about ingenuity! We asked for beef as an extra topping. But rather than boring old ground beef, like nachos are supposed to have, the restaurant had a new twist. Instead, they tore up roast beef lunch meet and dropped it on. Great way to cut costs for sure!
I have to give props to the staff for trying to do everything themselves. It really shows. Anyway, doubt I'll be back since this is one of those "once-in-a-lifetime" type of special experiences.

This place is so beautiful and the price is acceptable. We stayed 2 nights and really enjoyed it. It's exactly near the boots that go through the island. I recommend the restaurant too, the food is great.

One of the finest resort to view best scene of the lake. Food and drinks are must try. Accommodation is awesome. most convenient to roam around cruises and downtown.

This place was absolutely incredible. I have been coming here for over a decade. The hotel has recently gone through lost of upgrades and renovations and rooms, services and location perfect. Staff were helpful and friendly and the food at the restaurant tasted great.

recently been there for 2 days and there was nothing special about this place. the free breakfast was below our expectations and took more than 30 minutes for serving and also there wasn't any fridge or hairdryer in room which made us upset. if you want to spend more than $300 per night, its better for you to go and visit the other places. you probably may find more valuable places.

This was a really pleasant stay and the view was gorgeous! The staff were very accommodating and friendly. There was a confusion with my booking, and they did their best to resolve the issue and give us a room we were happy with.
Thank you for the lovely experience. We hope to be back and miss the beautiful view already!

Me and my boyfriend had never been to Gananoque, and what a pleasant experience!! Such a beautiful small town, and such a perfect spot for a hotel.
The staff were beyond helpful and sweet.

Great location and service from the staff. Rooms were very nice but one blanket in the room and falling apart which left stuff all over the place. Rooms are updated but seems to be quick renovations rather than a full overhaul. Regardless of the small issues it was a great stop for an visit and would definitely be back

It is a beautiful hotel but it needs better upkeep and a remodel especially in the bathrooms.
Rooms are clean and we'll stocked. Views of the river are amazing.
I recommend getting a room in the main building overlooking the water.
The fancy restaurant and the spa are closed.
