Fantastic Hotel

To be honest, I have been to hotels in many cities, and the front desk reception at many hotels is in a smile mode.

However, the front desk reception at this hotel really handles my stay from the bottom of them heart and sincerely, answering my doubts.

The smile and gaze are definitely not deceiving.

I really like this hotel

I arrived at the hotel in the evening, and the front desk lady was awesome.

I am very grateful.

She is good at talking and always brings me joy and laughter, which has relieved my fatigue.

The hotel is quiet, and breakfast is really delicious.

I will definitely come back again

My husband and I spent one night at this hotel and will book again when we return to Halifax.

Staff are friendly and accommodating. The rooms are clean, comfortable and well kept. Great breakfast selection. The hotel is conveniently located next to a Tom Hortons and is a short drive from many other amenities. Definitely recommend.

Clean and daily room service to freshen towels and bed. Front desk folks are very helpful and friendly. The breakfast is the highlight, the waitstaff serve you from the buffet and offer sausage, eggs, bacon, omlettes, fruits, bagels and toast. There is coffee 24 hours and tea in the morning. I've been to many hotels and this one really stood out as far as breakfast and customer service!

As some previous customers mentioned, it is noisy. Adjoining rooms allow you to hear the neighbors next to you fairly clearly as they party and laugh and sing until 12am. The night clerk helped to ask the folks to keep it down two nights in a row and even offered to help us with another room. This one was accessible by request so we declined as there were no others available. But it was very kind of the staff to do what they could.

There is a very loud door on the first floor. Not sure which one it is, but it sounds like a dying dog every time its opened. And during the night it is open frequently. So if you hear it. It is not a banshee, just a hinge needing a bit of oil.

Over all its not a bad place and we may stay here again in the near future.

The staff is above and beyond! Staff members are very nice, polite, knowledgeable, and helpful. It was a pleasure to deal with them.
The location of the hotel is convenient as well – not too far from the downtown (~15 min driving), yet located in a really nice neighborhood which is, itself, worth walking around. There is also Tim Hortons right beside the hotel.

Great place to stay! Helps to leave a good impression of Halifax and Nova Scotia.
Totally recommend it as a hotel which is actually worth every dollar you pay for it!

Recently stayed at the Chateau Bedford and found the location to be excellent for our needs. Reception was pleasant and quite helpful. Breakfast was more than expected for the free price. Room comfortable and clean. Allowed a late checkout as was helpful in our situation. Highly recommend and would definitely stay there again.

Nice clean room with everything needed for a stay. Staff were all friendly, and the hotel was relatively busy, but rooms were quiet. Hot breakfast was included, nothing fancy but it was a well done standard buffet of food.
