We had an amazing stay at The Prince George Hotel! We were treated exceptionally well, the pool area was a great addition. The location is perfect as we were there with family for the Royal Tattoo! We will definitely be back. Thanks! Two Lost Souls Travel @travel_twolostsouls

Good quality hotel in good location downtown halifax. Easy access to Monument hill. The waterfront is downhill about 2-3 blocks. Nice indoor pool. Breakfast was about $20, not included but a pretty good value. It is included if your in a suite. Self parking in underground hotel garage was $24. with elevator into hotel.

Service was excellent for a hotel of its age. I am certain fifty years ago this location was the place to be seen. Though, after four days across the street at Sutton Place, this was disappointing for our last-minute extension stay in the city. Overall, I'd stay across the street at Sutton Place over here if they have the space.

Quiet large king bed suite. We arrived rather late and a loud party was going on - atypical, but as a result of recent forest fires, the partygoers venue was closed. Pillows are big and round and huge. I think if offering 4 pillows offer some flatter ones for back sleepers as well since it’s impossible to sleep on them as a back sleeper. Hallway and rooms showing it’s age - but not bad. Amazing location and we had a limited view harbour facing room so no street noise. HVAC and upstairs shower were clearly audible though.

The hotel is beautiful and clean. Very helpful staff. The pool was a bonus. Everything is in walking distance from the hotel. It’s very hilly in Halifax and the hotel is up on the top of the hill just one road away from the Citadel and main areas. loads of eating and drinking places near the hotel too. Would definitely recommend it to anyone going to Halifax.

Loved our stay! Great for families and dogs. The pool, arcade room and breakfast buffet was awesome! The room was spacious and clean, great location. 5 minutes from Halifax shopping center and 10 to five guys! Would go back for sure.

The hotel is located in the city center, within walking distance of several major attractions. The room is very good and well-equipped. There is a full set of kitchenware and tableware, so you can cook your own food. There is a centralized restaurant and bar downstairs, and the breakfast is also good

The location is convenient, and there are parking spaces for an additional fee. The breakfast is very rich, and the family room is fully equipped with stoves, dishes, knives and forks, wine glasses, and coffee cups. The room is clean, the mirror is large, and the lighting is bright. There are many bars downstairs and many weekend activities. Recommended, I will stay again next time I come to Haffa

The toom are very confortable and clean. There’s not enough towel in the bathroom for a family of four so you should ask for one more. Although the service is great, the food during breakfast is not refilled fast enough and when finally refilled, it all goes in a minute. If you’re traveling with kids or in a hurry do not expect to eat quickly.

It was located centrally. It was too noisy. If you want a good nights rest get an inside room.

Needs to say that you have to pay a deposit with a credit card, which we didn’t have, so had to put a big deposit on our Visa card, which could then affect peoples trip

Great property, so convenient, very close to convention center and walkable to port. Breakfast included was a plus. Super spacious rooms and very clean. I would come again.

We had our company awards gala here. The service was outstanding. John and the catering team were too notch and made sure everything was so easy and smooth. The food was good. My only complaint was that the bar was cash only (we issued drink tickets so it didn't really affect our group but something to consider. )

Your staff is amazing, they were busy but handled all clients with respect and were efficient at their job to make sure everyone was happy. The tall lady with glasses that overseen breakfast was exceptional. I only wish I remembered her name. There was a tiny issue on check in with availability of our room, but that was taken care of by the desk manager.

Great city with Hotel accommodation made for a great weekend! As a couple we spent our time visiting the city! Always like to use Trip.com for my bookings! Fast and easy and always saving $$! Will definitely continue to use this app for our bookings!

Halifax Downtown Hotel Good downtown location. Across the street from the waterfront and its boardwalk. Good under ground parking. Room was on third floor right next to sidewalk that was a bite of disappointment.

Balcony was nice to be able to sit outside but couldn’t see street as view is blocked. Rooftop terrace was nice but it was cold. Be nice to have fire table. Pool was nice and hottub was warm but bubbles wouldn’t turn on. Bistro breakfast was excellent. Get the tator tots.

The hotel is in a great location, close to the waterfront and many restaurants. The hotel has a pool and hot tub however the hot tub jets and the timer were not working properly. Judging by the sign they had by the timer it appears this has been the case for some time.

Wonderful stay and very accommodating hosts. We didn't get in until 230am and they waited up for us and helped us with our bags. They let us have our little dog here and we're so nice about it. We would stay again for sure.

Excellent! The rooms were clean and in good size. Staff/Managers were very helpful and friendly. They do their best to please you. Breakfast was very nutritious and delicious. There were some free snacks in the rooms. Overall we had a very positive experience!

I stayed at Chateau Bedford, Trademark Collection by Wyndham from April 19–20, 2025, for a family trip to Halifax. Overall, it was a pleasant experience. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially when we needed extra towels, toiletries, and coffee refills, which were initially insufficient in the room. Location was great for our hospital visit. Room was small ,but ok. The bathroom didn't have a fan for moisture control. Overall, our stay was fine. Breakfast was good. Pricewise, you get what you pay for.

Mr Paul at front desk was very supportive of my stay.

I had to have surgery at 6 am so my husband and I booked this place mainly due to location. It was more than we expected and we were so pleased as it was close to the hospital, had free continental breakfast for husband who stayed there all week. Close walk to restaurants and for the month that we were there, parking was free. Great place.
