Howard Johnson by Wyndham Kingston
Kingston, 686 Princess Street 🧭 Map
It is very close to the city center, only about 1.6 kilometers away. It takes more than 10 minutes to walk to the most lively commercial area in the city center! The hotel staff are very friendly and kind. Free light meals are provided every morning: there are fruits, yogurt, muffins, coffee, and tea, which can be enjoyed unlimitedly. It is really very convenient! Next time I have a chance, I will...
My wife and I just stayed there for one night and are happy with it overall.
For the pricing, we found it to be easy to get to, clean with a quick check-in and good enough for just the two of us.
The location is good as you're a few blocks from all of the downtown bars and restaurants.
I spoke with one of the owners and they're still in the process of renovating, but, again, the room we had (10...
Heating was a space heater. Parking lot was slippery, had to use 4X4 to get to the parking spot. Our friends had a nicer room. Baseboard heat, a closet and a sink in the bathroom (ours was outside of the bathroom). Maybe they are upgrading and haven’t done the building we were in?
This hotel was exactly as advertised and rooms matched the hotel's pics etc. It was clean and better than I expected. It's clearly an older hotel and older building etc, but we were in town for a concert and it met our needs for the trip. One small thing: after the concert we came back and needed some more ice but couldn't access the ice machine because the office was closed. It would have been nicer...
We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights while I was having surgery at KGH. The location is perfect and the staff were excellent.
This 5 star review is for the lovley young man at the front desk on Nov 12 2022! Looked after and was very kind to two young offspring fans and their mom! The hotel itself is in a great location and did the trick! Probably not somewhere to honeymoon 🙃.

Quality Inn & Suites Kingston
Kingston, 1530 Robinson Court 🧭 Map
From check in to check out and everyone between including the cleaners/maintenance staff everyone was so pleasant. My room was comfortable and my bed was super comfortable. Breakfast excellent and even the coffee was good. I will be back.
Nice, clean and convenient place to stay. Close to the highway, so easily accessible but not too noisy, free parking. The rooms were comfortable and good size. The breakfast area was clean and offered good food options. We were with a big group, they provided space for the kids to play, they started breakfast earlier to accommodate our schedule at the last minute and made sure we had what we needed...
We had to get a last minute room because of the big snow storm on Christmas eve. Everyone was either checking in or stuck in the snow on the side of the road trying to make it. When we got there 3 adults, one kid and a dog, the staff was very friendly. The lady checking us in was taking over from cleaning rooms. She was very very friendly and helpful with anything she could cause being Christmas eve...
Great value for the money. Location, just off the 401 was excellent. Rooms were clean. Front desk was friendly. Morning breakfast was on time, hot and filling. Great experience
Good choice for a night or two. Much cheaper than staying downtown Kingston.
Newly renovated and spacious bathrooms.
Clean bedroom, but quite dark and a little dated.. I appreciated that the popcorn ceiling in the room was smoothed over.. I find rooms with popcorn ceiling are just stuffier as they hold onto dust.
Only one elevator, and can be quite busy in the morning and evenings.
Doors should...
Great property. It is on the outskirts of town so be prepared to drive to everything.
Great experience from check in to check out. Check in was a breeze and very friendly. Room was very clean and decently appointed. In fact the whole hotel from room to dining area was very clean.
The coffee machine in the lobby (24hr access) is quite good, no need to drive off site for a coffee.
The breakfast each...

Motel 6 Kingston, ON
Kingston, 1542 Robinson Court 🧭 Map
Breakfast was good. The bed was comfortable. I was glad that there we're both a fridge and a microwave.
Amazing place to stay in Kingston. The rooms are very clean and the hotel is very quiet despite being right beside the 401. The front desk staff are so helpful and kind I haven’t had service like that at a hotel in a very long time. Would definitely recommend.
Reasonable price and okay location off the highway. Room was clean.
Very noisy, bad plumbing (sink barely drains and toilet didn't flush well), cleaning staff were extremely loud in the mornings (yelling to each other from room to room, letting doors slam etc.)
Overall, not the worst place I've stayed but you get what you pay for.
We spent just one night in Kingston and didn't need a big fancy hotel so booked a room here. We were very pleasantly surprised! This Motel 6 seemed fairly new, but was also very clean, fully efficient with everything we needed and comfortable beds. We were greeted by a very friendly front desk clerk and got a great rate for our room. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.
Great stay at the Kingston location from Oct 23rd - Oct 26th! Everything was excellent, friendly staff, very clean hardwood floors (NOT CARPET) and was the quietest motel in 20 years! 3 nights, 3 great night of sleep! Will definitely be back real soon! Highly recommend!
We had to stay in Kingston as a family member was having surgery. We had 2 rooms and both rooms were clean and comfortable. I would typically book a hotel with a pool and breakfast options etc., but we were traveling with a pet and found that this motel allowed pets.
I was so happy to see that the rooms were bright and clean, not one thing wrong with them! Plenty of extra pillows for the beds, good...

Incredibly nice host, and the bed was heavenly!
Stayed at Rosas the first week of June. Had a great experience. Great breakfast and a comfy private room at the back of the house. Corinne was a great hostess and highly recommend.

Laura's Bed & Breakfast
Kingston, 2904 Clogg's Rd 🧭 Map
I got a chance to stay at Laura's Bed and breakfast. it was an awesome experience of staying in a homely, well maintained, peaceful, clean and a very relaxing place in the middle of woods. the property is very well managed. and the owner Laura adds icing to the cake. she is very helpful, friendly and pleasing person. i would definitely recommend the place.
Greatly enjoyed a night there this spring, mid April. Lovely farmland setting, a heritage home, well appointed with everything I expect in a BnB. Wonderful host, Laura, excellent conversation made for a very enjoyable breakfast. Only minutes from the highway, but completely quiet and peaceful and a very pastoral setting. Am returning to Kingston in May and will stay there again.
Laura's B&B was the perfect place to stop - either en route to another destination, or if you want to explore the city of Kingston for a few days. The house is quaint and full of character, and being located just outside the city makes it a quiet and relaxed environment. Breakfast generous, beds comfortable, excellent shower (hot and good pressure!), and host extremely kind and welcoming. We would...
I stayed a Laura's for just one night while I was in Kingston to see a play. It was great! So cozy and pleasant. One of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in. I loved the views from the windows, and the surrounding farmland. Laura was a really marvellous host: there when you needed her, and respectful of privacy. Just the right balance of availability and a make-yourself-at-home feeling. I...
My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at Laura's B&B! Laura is very friendly, welcoming and hospitable and gave us lots of useful tips for exploring Kingston. The house has many beautiful old features, big windows with stunning country views and comfortable rooms to sit in. I would definitely come back!

Bayside Inn & Waterfront Suites
Kingston, 4024 Bath Road 🧭 Map
The Inn is right by the water. The rooms are newly renovated great features. The rooms are a bit small for moving around in but very nice furniture and up to date. Rates are very reasonable.
I paid C$310 for one night. No breakfast, the pictures on trip advisor don't match reality when it comes to lobby. The person at the lobby was super nice friendly, flexible and accommodating, she's the reason I'm giving a 3 star rating instead of 2 star. The room is clean from the inside but the it's pretty old. The outside of the room is clearly untouched, the spider webs and the amount of spiders...
One of the best accommodations right by the lake- very comfortable bed - we went I to deep sleep. Breakfast included a variety of menu options. Staff was also helpful in completing our request. Would decently recommend and come back to this place.
Average accommodations for the price, if you don't like the sound of trains and their horns blasting all night don't stay here... The view and grounds were nice. Also met and had fun with many of the other guests. The staff we interacted with were all amazing, kind, and helpful... I would stay there again!
On the water and good service, working on improvements
Amazing experience, great rooms and service and best of all Amazing breakfast. I never expected so much from this hotel and I am truly amazed. I wish I had found this hotel earlier!

Nice clean rooms perfect place to stay
I was stranded in Kingston while my car was repaired. This motel was next door to the dealership so was very convenient.
The room was clean, comfortable and reasonably priced. I was treated kindly and the staff were masked which I appreciated. It was a pleasant stay.
Spotlessly clean room, very friendly and helpful operators, short drive to scenic downtown in one direction and shopping malls in the other. Room was spacious with two comfy queen beds, kitchen area with sink, fridge, and barhroom had a really nice strong shower in the tub. It is a basic older motel but the family owning and operating it keep it really clean. If you are looking for basic accommodation...
The room decor is basic, as you'd expect for a motel, but it has everything you need. The giant window makes you feel like you live in a store window if you open the curtains, which is a bit weird, but I really liked it. When I worked on my laptop on the dining table with the curtains open, it felt like I was sitting on the deck on a summer day, even though it was a cold snowy day in March. Our...
Stayed here about a week ago. This is definitely no fancy place but if you're looking for a clean, quiet environment and somewhere cheap to stay I definitely recommend this place. Also the staff was very nice and helpful.
Cheap and open late. Front desk is very friendly and accomadating. Stay here everytime I pass through kingston.

The door locks did not make me feel safe. Otherwise good value, clean.
We arrived early and they accommodated us. Friendy staff. Room was clean. Lots of HD channels on tv. Good mattress. Microwave, coffee maker, fridge. All good.
We stayed here for one night with our family while driving between Montreal and Toronto, and it was exactly what we needed. The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. The service was friendly and helpful, and the price was very reasonable. A perfect stop to rest and recharge—would definitely stay again!
Great place. But lost water when lost power. Should have water bottles available.
Clean, quiet, good beds - nice - though many layer of paint makes door not shut easily - it is an older place.
Very clean motel. Can hear the neighbours unfortunately. Love the balcony. Overall, a good affordable stay.

I've lived here for 5 years and love the place. Doug has a lot on his plate but always gets what you need done as soon as he can. Whether you need a place long term or just visiting Kingston I highly recommend Fort Henry Motel. :)
Friendly, affordable and clean.
I've been really enjoying my stay at Fort Henry Motel, especially being on the outside of downtown in the country but only a 5 minute drive away.
Friendly staff, but has the basic amenities and very helpful.
This motel could be very nice if the put some TCL into it. Espeacialy the front sign.
Travelling alone. Perfect room for one. Spacious, clean. All I needed at a super price. Gentleman most helpful. Don't judge this book by it's cover....
My stay at the Fort Henry Motel was great. The guy at the front desk was really nice and pretty funny too. It really looks like he puts pride into the work he does there.

I stayed here this past weekend, it was alright, wasn’t able to get extras pillows not many outlets. Didn’t like that the heat kept going on n off. But they guy was friendly. If I could afford it I’d stay there a month..
Motel was a good price, but the rooms were outdated. Bed was not the most comfortable. Otherwise clean and was fine.

Marie is a lovely host she will adapt her breakfast to what you want! The location is great if you have a car its only a few minutes aways from downtown! This is the same review I wrote on booking.com.
This is a very unique bed and breakfast. Visiting from Toronto, I chose this for the great reviews and the great price - and I was satisfied to know that it exceeded my expectations. Please note it's cash only, so make sure you stop by a bank machine before you arrive (it should say under "payment" when you book).
There are four rooms on the basement...
Thoroughly enjoyed our 3 nights at this B&B. Delicious breakfasts, interesting chats with Mary. We also enjoyed our "dog fix" with Buster. I would also like to say that we really enjoyed the sites, points of interest...and the food in and around the Kingston area. Hope to travel again to the area, and if we are in need of accommodations, I know right where to go!
room was bigger then i was expecting and clean, breakfast was great. Mary and buster do a great job at what they do, all other services advertised where available and in working order. i personalty had no issues, parking was available but due to the nature of the street i can see it being a bit of a issue if there was a lot of guests
This was for me a great stay the owner a nice as anyone could be and the room was brilliant, a go to place to stay for sure you'd have a job to beat it.

Small motel with clean, comfy rooms. Staff was accommodating and courteous. 👍
Clean, friendly and quiet, a good place for undisturbed sleep. The Internet connection was not great so working remotely or watching a video can be a challenge but CLEANLINESS is number one for me. Hot water always available with no issues, fresh linen.
Staff was extremely friendly, room was wonderful... great value for the money!
It is OK, a very typical motel (often needing some repairs, tidy, not sure if the bed covers were cleaned, friendly check in). They work really hard. It is a bed for the night. Prices are a little high for what you get.

Upon checking in, the staff had a great sense of humour, extremely nice, and incredibly helpful in terms of where everything is in Kingston. They even had a map at the front that you could take to see what and where to do activities in Kingston. The room was clean, smelled good, and had a tv. Overall, I would definitely come back and would definitely recommend Econolodge if you are staying in Kingston
Ok for a nights rest . Room was clean. Breakfast is just very basic juice, coffee, toast, yogurt.
Service is more than I expected. Must come back next time.
Not a bad to stay. The building is dated and could use a renovation. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Close to downtown and shopping
Older property however the room was clean and the staff friendly. Need to continue to update the property.
Could have been better
Hotel was well positioned for what we needed. Sink in bathroom was cracked and toilet rolls were positioned behind the door. Air conditioner was noisy and the continental breakfast was very sparse and limited. We had a problem with noisy neighbours on the second night at 3:30 am. The staff in charge at night took care of it promptly
