This is my favorite accommodation for summer stays in Kingston. Not open when students move in. It is quite basic, but all necessary servicers are available, rooms and the property clean and well maintained. Conveniently located just across from the Ontario park. Staff is welcoming and helpful.
There are some stains on my pillow and towels. The doors are also hard to lock and you can hear other people’s washrooms extremely clearly. The walls are quite thin here.
It's a college residence. If you are ok with that then it's great. Clean, quiet and decent location. Excellent for the money. Breakfast is meagre but it's free.
Great as far as college dorms go. Bed was fairly hard and water pressure in the shower was too low but it's the cheapest in the area.

I was a former employee there, was working as a Night Auditor. I must say that this was the best place that I had worked in my entire life. During past 6 years, I had worked in 4 different organizations, but the working atmosphere that I felt working at four points was super super amazing. All employees are so nice and helpful. They have a wonderful staff. Everyone is amazing. The front desk manager...
Our daughter was married on Saturday, Sept. 24, 2022 at the Four Points Sheraton (Kingston). After resolving some initial concerns regarding the planning a few weeks before the wedding, we have nothing but positive comments. Christopher and Alex were extremely helpful taking care of all the details and setup for the ceremony and reception. The staff and servers were polite and professional and the...
I reserved a block of rooms for my wedding guests at the Four Points by Sheraton and would highly recommend them! Kristen was very responsive by email and phone, and helped me through the entire process of booking and then rebooking when we rescheduled our wedding due to the pandemic. The guests who stayed here enjoyed themselves, especially my parents who were given the Mayor's Suite and my brother...
Very comfortable rooms and good customer service. I was there for a work conference with a large group and they provided reasonable price for the rooms and included underground parking with it. I would stay there again.
The hotel is very nice, good condition, rooms clean, location is brilliant - steps to the waterfront. The rooms were warm but at night I like them cold and the air conditioner just behaved like a fan and did little to cool the room down (to be fair, it was April, but any hotel I've stayed in, I could make it cool with internal controls). Thankfully we could open up a window. This is really 4.5 out...
Awesome place. Beds are comfy. Amazing views. Great restaurant on the main floor and it's close to everything!

Beautiful location overlooking the waterfront. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. Located within walking distance of several restaurants. Great warm indoor pool area.
Although we weren’t here for the Kingston attractions or views, I do feel certain hotel rooms should be discounted since they advertise great views. My view was an industrial size air conditioner which pretty much took up our whole view and we were right off the elevator so the constant “ding” of the elevator when in use can be heard. There was a funky smell throughout the hotel, specifically in the...
The hotel is centrally located and very convenient. Check in was smooth and efficient. The room scrupulously clean. We were traveling with the dog and I am assuming this was a pet friendly room but it was spotless - even for a picky human! The beds were extremely comfortable and, high marks for good, fluffy pillows! The only downside was that the dog was not allowed in the bar or restaurant, only the...
Our boys volleyball team stayed here while we competed at the OFSAA championships in late November. We booked a total of 12 rooms using a group rate. Adding or modifying the rooms was a simple and quick process as Shelby G was very prompt to respond to emails and satisfy our requests. The hotel allowed us the use their junction room free of charge for a team meal while we were there. Check in was unbelievably...
3-stars just because there was no housekeeping. You have to request housekeeping, which I did, and they still didn't come. The Delta Waterfront down the road has housekeeping included, no matter what. I get a good rate at this hotel through my company, that's why I stayed here. Also: no slippers & no laundry bag. Pros: Dove shampoo/conditioner, clean room, in-house k-cup coffee, bottled water, ondemand...
Excellent service and great rooms. Swimming pool was cold. Waterfront room with King sized bed made for a great getaway with my special someone.

very nice hotel.Hope next time.
Amazing location, view. Staff friendly & clean. Lovely stay.
Right at the Center of Kingston, easy access to the Thousand Island Cruise. Many restaurants and coffee shops nearby. Very relaxing. Also enjoy the pool and hot tub. A lovely short stay.
The old air conditioner in the room cannot be turned on. Turning it on is like flying a plane in the room. It is so noisy that I can't fall asleep. The windows are sealed tightly and I will suffocate if I don't turn on the air conditioner... I am completely speechless

The room was very clean. The staff were excellent. I appreciated the breakfast. No complaints from me. I would stay again. 😊👍 l.
If you read one thing, is this: Odd room numbers have lake view (except for those ending in 00 and 02). BUT the ones ending on 17 have a very small window compared to the others. I had the 517 and when I saw that the others have much larger windows I was a bit disappointed with the room they gave me... If I knew I would had asked for a change. Besides that, the room was nice and the location great...
Despite some worrisome reviews, we found the hotel to be clean, welcoming, and perfectly functional. Beds were comfortable, breakfast was cute, and staff was super helpful and clearly following health & safety guidelines. I'm very confused by anyone who felt it had a "hostel" or "boarding house" feel. There was no one loitering around or anything off putting at all.
In my experience the room was clean, had a good view and comfortable. However the wifi can be a bit spotty and the TV could use some repairs as the remote was hardly responsive and cut out often. The staff however are friendly and helpful! I'd say it's a great spot to just leave your stuff and relax after a day of adventuring and enjoying the sights as compared to a hotel you go to specifically for...

We stayed here for two nights. Staff was extremely lovely and allowed us to check in an hour early as we had a senior citizen with us who needed a rest before the evenings activities. They are presently renovating the other wing of the hotel, so these rooms were an excellent deal! It’s clean and some of the comfiest beds I’ve ever slept in. It takes 10 minutes to get downtown Kingston by car, so nicely...
For the price I paid, wow this was a great hotel!!!! Beds were comfortable and it was a simple yet deluxe room, with everything you need for a business trip. I went during their massive renovation so they offered nothing except for a room, but I read about their amenities pre-construction. Parking was easy to find, but there were some huge holes in the parking lot. Staff was very friendly and helped...
The people here have been fantastic! The maintenance staff was so helpful with getting our luggage up to our room. They were also respectful of all the COVID rules by cleaning thoroughly and even asking is we were comfortable sharing the elevator with them. The front desk was very helpful and friendly and were able to answer any questions we had. I highly recommend staying here.
Hotel hosted some of our hockey teams for K4K tournament. They were filled to capacity and service was outstanding. Very very impressed. Room are typical, beds are comfortable and water park is dated but a huge hit with the kids! Had the breakfast buffet one morning, it wasn't the greatest. I suggest ordering fresh off the menu if you are going to eat at the hotel.
Great hotel with friendly staff, clean environment. Didn't have a chance to check out their pool and water slides, but the quick look seemed amazing! The breakfast buffet was spot on with delicious hot options and cold options, or you can order off their menu. At night when the restaurant is closed there are booklets in your room with local restaurants that will deliver right to your room. All in All...
The hotel itself is wonderful and the rooms are great too. The pool and slide are great too. This is our second time here within 7 months. I guess there is a hockey tournament so the pool was packed and the teenage boys that disregarded my kids (5 and 2) and hit them out of the way and almost drowned my son. The lifeguards gave them a warning but that was it. There was also 15 people in the hot tub...

Very nice unit with excellent customer support!
Lovely space that is well equipped and clean. It’s not entirely what I expected as most pictures showed a space with brick walls and large windows, and our unit was on the main level. The unit was smaller, with smaller windows, no brick walls and not as much natural light. Everything else was good and the instructions were clear.
This place is STUNNING. It felt so luxurious and cozy. The owners attention to detail and design choices are to die for. We will absolutely be back.
We are in Kingston all the time visiting our daughter and have stayed in different places all over the city. This has definitely hit our top 5 because of the beautiful space and walkable location for downtown.
We stayed at the Dwell apartments. Super clean. Modern traditions decor. Attention to detail. Well equipped kitchens. Nice bathrooms. Bed and bedding super comfortable. Would totally stay again. Perfect for visiting our son while he's there for school.
This property was newly renovated, and extremely clean. Communication with the host was excellent. It is tricky to find parking and it's not very convenient for unloading, etc. One suggestion is that a blind in the kitchen would be a great addition for privacy, since it looks directly into a neighbouring property. The building is beautiful but not in a very nice area; however it is close to downtown

Stayed overnight on a Sunday. Was pleasantly surprised. The location is great, there is a mall right there. There is a Starbucks in the lobby of the hotel. Cozy, they were doing renovations when we visited, but the front desk staff were very pleasant. The only thing was the wifi, it was a bit chaulky and if you were watching something it freezes and take a few minutes to load. Other then that I would def return.

Very nice rooms. They're a little old and dark, but the size is great. Good breakfast. Something tasted weird in the waffle mix, and when I complained nothing was done. Otherwise very happy with the stay!
Excellent room. We were warned that the hotel was booked up but we didn't have any problems with noise despite the warnings. Bed was great. Amazing hospitality from concierge and for people helping with breakfast. Genuinely friendly and warm people and making sure you go out with a full stomach. Rooms are great too. It's a 5 to 10 minute walk to Goodes Hall so it's quite convenient
I've photographed a few weddings here at the Donald Gordon Hotel and Conference Centre. The place is very accessible and a beautiful location for a ceremony and reception. They have several rooms and a pub for receptions, all of which are great spaces. The food is excellent and staff incredibly helpful and hospitable. Looking forward to photographing more weddings here in the future!
What an amazing experience. Courteous catering staff. Moreover All meats offered were Halal and openly labelled. Well thought out from a diversity and inclusion perspective. Great job by Queen’s University for hosting at Donald Gordon centre
Fun building (old/historical style with stairs, level changes, curious antiques and secret doorways in the common areas). Elevators well placed for accessibility. Excellent place to stay. Great location with food choices and gas nearby. Staff was pleasant. Breakfast was good. Recommend this hotel.
The hotel had just completed phase 1 . The first floor washrooms were all walk-in showers, no bathtub. The second floor had only bathtubs. The breakfast area was small , so you had to wait for a table. I would stay there again.
Adequate room and very convenient location. The breakfast buffet was unusable. It's not set up or staffed well: line-up took up the entire buffet for people waiting for waffles and they couldn't keep the coffee, eggs, sausage, and potatoes stocked.
Mixed bag. Cost of hotel is high $140+/night. Breakfast was OK, no scrambled egg. Gets 3 because service was decent the first 2 employees I interacted with, however the third employee, wasn't very friendly. Also no elevator is a problem, especially if you have to take luggage to second floor.

Very satisfied with the room and cleanliness. A special thank you to the restaraunt manager. She was especially helpful with information and directions to attractions and made us feel at home.
We have stayed at a lot of BWestern pluses but ghis one rates in the top3 or 4 . From the time you walk in you know something is different than the average hotel. The decor was terrific and the staff so far is above great. Our room was clean and above average in decor as well. Pool time and service perfect. This hotel is a gem. Unique and warm decor. However, most of all, their service and management are excellent. Some of the best service I've had anywhere. I recently had an issue with a booking and they followed up with me quickly and went the extra distance to help me - at their expense. Fully recommend.
The entire experience was fantastic. The room was so original and cozy, such an enjoyable experience. So convenient to have the restaurant in the hotel, especially because the weather was bad. Not a new hotel, but a hotel under renovations with newly renovated rooms. Floors aren’t carpeted so dirt from the floors is easily tracked into the beds. I particularly like the hotel's breakfast. The chef is very proud of her products. It is rare for me to eat such delicious food in a Western hotel. The peach jam is fragrant and delicious, and the freshly baked chocolate welcome cookies beat most Western pastry shops. The inn is very beautiful and suitable for taking pictures.
Beautiful villa built in 1850 and very attractive rooms. Neat and clean. Breakfast small but delicious fresh things and super tasty egg spinach wrap. Private parking was also a plus
Full marks. It's very close to Queen's University and the central city. The house has a history of a hundred years. It's so beautiful. We were given a free upgrade. Clean, nicely furnished. I enjoyed the bathtub and appreciated the comfy chair and ottoman. Very cheerful, efficient staff.
