I attended a work function at this location. The staff were helpful, particularly when we found the temperature of our conference room too cold. The food was a pleasant surprise. Typically hotel conference center food is bland and predictable but the meals here for our function were delicious and there was plenty for everyone. Staff were attentive and made sure we had fully stocked beverages throughout...
I was here with my daughter, her husband and my three grandchildren. The rooms were spacious enough to hold a crib. Which they brought to the room no problems. The front desk was helpful and very friendly. The waite staff was awesome and patient with the children and always had ready smiles for us. The rooms were clean and smelt nice. The pool outside was clean and the towels fresh. We had a small...
We had a session in one of their rooms. The provided room was too tight for the number of people they new we wanted to accommodate so we were squeezed in... the room was hot and they neglected to list us on the digital board for our guests... even after being admised that we werent listed. I have been at this facility before and generally a great experience... they are worthy of another try but this...
This is a great location for hosting company events, parties, seminars, networking events etc... the staff is friendly and helpful and always quick to respond! Friends have hosted events here for years and always a good experience. Not sure what the hotel rooms are like but have heard good things from others who have stayed the night. Food was good also! #recommended
This is probably the best kept hotel in this area. Service from check in to check out was great! This is definitely our go to spot with any out of town visitors. There are awesome restaurants directly across the street. Quick access to the highway and ample parking available at no extra charge. The rooms are very clean and size is good.
Was here for a hockey tournament. Lobby and restaurant/bar was nice. Staff was really friendly and helpful. The rooms were not the best but this isn't a 5 star place either. The decor was recently updated but the bathroom had very old fixtures. We had two double beds and they were decent comfort wise. Our shower lever broke while we were there but the staff fixed it very quickly. There is an indoor...

My Service Dog (Chai) and I are here for a (potentially) two month stay while renovations happen at home. Despite my concerns, both human and canine, from the moment I parked my car I have never felt so welcome! The staff (management, reception, housekeeping, maintenance and even construction - I hope I didn’t miss anyone) are always smiling and ready to help with anything we need. Yes, some facilities...
Rooms were in good order, well cleaned. Everything worked. Nothing extravagant but a decent place to stay the night. We had a room with a king size bed. Comfortable bed and pillows. Room had a fridge, microwave and safe. There were two sinks in the bathroom and a big vanity. Shower was pretty good also.
Staff friendly helpful breakfast was awesome. Expensive but worth it. Only thing is I wish the bathtub add a plug.
Very clean all around.. Staff was super nice. Rooms were kept nice and clean also. Breakfast food was yummy. Were were there for 2 nights and they had a variety of food options for breakfast. Would definitely recommend this hotel.
Get to the “gym” early...two treads, two ellipticals, and a recumbent bike and all were in use at 5:30am. Except for the above & dumbbells of < 10lbs there’s nothing else.

I stayed at the residence and conference centre this past weekend with my lacrosse team. Upon arrival, I found out that I had not actually had a room booked. The gentleman I spoke to never put my name in the system, nor took any information down for the room. But the ladies at the front were absolutely amazing, and were so nice throughout the weekend even though they seemed to be very busy! Super clean...
The location is just across conestoga college Doon Campus. The service os good. Good wifi and free breakfast
Training day for work. Room was in basement but comfortable, nice temperature of room. Washrooms clean. Overall good for a work training day but being in the basement there was no outside view
Lived here my first year of college. It's expensive relative to other local housing and doesn't have a strong student culture that you find at other school's residences. That being said some amenities were nice to have compared to what you will find elsewhere in the area (games room, BBQs, etc. a list can be found on their website), the free shuttle service to both Conestoga's Doon and Cambridge campuses...
Nice place to stay. Staff are very nice, and most rooms are nice and clean. Residents are sometimes loud walking through the hallways but other than that, a good experience.

Stayed here 3 times in the last 2 years - very convenient for while our child is attending U of W. Clean, modern and good restaurant. One problem is - bring your own pillow if you want a comfortable one. Every time the pillows have be very large and extremely lumpy. I have asked for smaller pillows-but get the same size and every pillow in each room is full of lumps that you can’t fix. They need...
What a pleasant surprise! The Delta hotels affiliated with Marriott was fantastic - clean, well furnished and bright, fantastic and courteous staff, a clean gym and pool area, really nice restaurant and bar area and relatively cheap parking. It was also walking distance to king st and shops and restaurants there. Also - daily cleaning if you want + free water. In an age where most hotels are taking...
Made a reservation for a room with a king bed, arrived and was given a room with 2 queen beds. Not a big deal but a bit of a red flag. Food in restaurant was tasty by pricey. There was a problem with my bill, which the first manager said she would take care of, but never did. I had to call back again, and that time Amal took care of it right away which I really appreciated.
A very modern hotel. The rooms are very well kept and up to date and offer a lot of technology and just all around smart design. They have USB ports for charging and they also have night lights to read with that are on adjustable arms that you can bend and twist so that you don't blind your partner. The heating system is easy to use. The bathroom was large with a big mirror and a walk in shower. But...
Made a reservation for 3 adults which was accepted, and the sofa was clearly visible on a picture of the room on the website. Upon arrival, was told that all rooms with the sofa are taken. We have been very explicitly told by the receptionist that she does not care and if we do not like it - we are welcome to just leave (of course, without refund). It was too late; all three of us had to share one...
This hotel boasts first “4-star full service hotel” in the area and while our stay was nice it did not live up to that expectation. The staff were incredibly kind, thoughtful and very accommodating. We were disappointed to have to pay for parking and that no meals are included at all in the price. The food at the restaurant, though, deserves 5 stars—it was fantastic and well priced. Very friendly staff. Room was very clean. Excellent value for what we paid per night. Next time we are in the area, we are definitely staying here again.
Perfect, perfect, perfect! Loved my stay here! Desk clerk was a sweetheart and very friendly and helpful. The room was so lovely and clean. The shower was exquisite with everything I needed. Bed was very comfortable and the view of the country fields was just an extra blessing to me. I've stayed here twice now and would highly recommend it! Deborah ♥️
My wife and I had a wonderful time here. We were welcomed in as family members as soon as we walked into the hotel. Thanks, Tracy and Marie! You girls rock 🪨 🎸. The room was very clean and we'll be back soon 👍😊. There are plenty of things to do in the area, and I'd recommend stopping by St. Jacob's Market if possible. Again the staff made our trip 💯.
I come to Waterloo once every quarter for the past year and every time I come to this hotel I'm greeted with smiling faces. Over time. The staff has come to know me and my colleagues and it is only enhanced the experience here. The rooms are always nice and clean, the bed is comfortable, the showers are hot. There's a small fitness center that me and my co-workers will go to when we don't drink too...
Overall a pleasant visit. The service was good although the front desk wasn't able to suggest a restaurant in nearby St. Jacobs which surprised us. The fireplace in the room was a nice touch. Hotel was generally in good shape and clean except for the hair in the shower.

Location was good. Disappointed in bathroom amenities. No cup or body cream in bathroom. Keys did not work after we went out for dinner. That was annoying. Cleaning staff tried to enter at 10 am and woke us up. Beds were amazing and room was super clean.
The woman working the front desk when we checked in was so friendly and helpful she should be teaching classes on hospitality. The room was clean and comfortable. Amenities are great, especially for families. Not only do they have an indoor pool, but an arcade and a bowling alley in the basement. Loved it here and will definitely stay again.
I stayed here while my husband was having heart surgery at St.Mary’s Hospital which is just a 15 minute walk away. The staff were incredibly accommodating when I had to extend my stay multiple times. Hotel reception management need lessons on customer experience. Reception staff do not look you in the eye when you arrive - simply demand your name and ID. Unfortunately, I took a ticket on entry and used it...
This is a very nice hotel in downtown Kitchener. Everything was clean and smelled great. The staff was very friendly and the food was also quite good. I would recommend them for their rooms and their event spaces.
Nice lobby and a nice bar restaurant. Service was good. Rates are reasonable. A bit of walking to the parking which is extra charge. We were in the older section in the rooms were a bit narrow and the bathroom was small no counter space - but the furniture and cleanliness and bedding was all quite good. The hotel was great, stayed at different BW. If anyone drinks decaf I suggest you pick k up your coffee on the way or bring your own. Our room had a coffee machine.
Great value, clean room and excellent customer service. Really enjoyed our stay there. Good free breakfast is nice bonus.
This was a very nice hotel. The check in was very easy and friendly. The room was nice and the bed was very comfortable. It has a very good quality shower. We had the breakfast the next morning and it was a nice selection of hot and cold items. I would definitely stay here the next time I'm in the area.
Its located along a strip of hotels, it's close to major roadways. Rooms are clean and the property is well kept. Interactions with staff at the front desk have been pleasant and professional. They have been attentive and helpful. I would stay here again if in the area and recommend the Best Western to others.
Very clean and quiet place to stay. Conveniently located off Highway 8. Very nice breakfast buffet included. Very reasonably priced.
I had a decent time in the luxury suite. My brother and father did not as they were kept awake by the refrigerator buzzing and low quality pillows along with a stiff mattress. I took the cot. The continental breakfast was decent and the staff seemed lively. I like how the check in is at 3 so there's no rush. However we were unable to check in early because a 🏑 team left the place a mess they were cleaning

Friendly staff. While I didn't say anything as this was a 3 star hotel I did notice some things. The room was decent and mostly clean. The bed squeeked and the refrigerator was quite noisy. It never really got cool either. The room had a small sink in addition to the bathroom sink. The small sink faucet had what looked like toothpaste or calcium deposits on it. Comfortable room, fixed an issue I had right away and it was very clean. My friend and I stayed for 2 nights, our flight was delayed so we called in advance to have a *very* late check in the next morning. They were already waiting for us and had everything ready. We would stay again :)
This is my go to when staying for business. Efficient check in and check out. Good value for $. I drive 15 minutes out of my way to stay here. I’ve stayed here at least 5 times now. It’s great for a work stay.
Stayed overnight after returning from Mexico (arriving in 2 in the a.m.) No surprise that i missed the 'continental breakfast', but was disappointed that there wasn't at least a pot of coffe for guests. My ride home was going to be late (weather conditions) and when I asked to checkout an hour or so late (11 a.m.) i was told that if I missed the checkout time i would b e charged for an extra day....
I was pleasantly surprised. The room was larger and nicer than I'm used to with budget hotels. The fridge and microwave were nice. The toilet paper was Kirkland brand and even the bars of soap were larger. I really liked that the thermostat was so easy to use.

We would definitely visit again. Also, the grab and go breakfast was quite good, no matter what you may hear. A shout out to management for accomodating our early check-in request. This hotel is well worth a visit
Stayed here on a Sunday, yes its a dated property, but its also the cheapest in the area that meet my criteria (dog friendly, hot tub) by quite a margin. Given that the rooms were clean, front desk staff were helpful, and pool and hottub were nice enough. Hot Tub was closed the morning I checked out, some notice would of been nice. We booked last minute as we were visiting the area and decided to stay the night. The room was clean, spacious and had a fridge and microwave. The bed was comfortable with lots of pillows. This inn is quite old with very dated rooms. - cleanliness: generally clean, had to remove a spider and the carpeted floors can definitely use a cleaning (turned my white socks grey on the bottom) but overall acceptable. - decor: dated. - service: no room service. I forgot my toothpaste and had to go to the front desk to pick it up myself. - continental breakfast: you'll get some granola bars,...
Stayed here for 2 days because of major renos at home and have absolutely no regrets. Outdated but very clean. The rooms fair size, the beds come with a nice thick mattress. Staff very polite, Carol was so helpful. The pool, sauna, hot tub and Gym maintained and spotless. No better deal in town for what you get. Pet friendly which was great.
The hotel was really well maintained and the ambience was just unique. The rooms are well maintained and the room service is also quick. Above all the staff is really helpful. I am a student in Canada, so they helped me with solving all my queries and also guided me!! Highly recommended!!!! I especially found a very good deal and just loved my stay there.

Outstanding -- comfortable and welcoming environment, delicious breakfast. Such a difference with faceless chain hotels. Staying at Les Diplomates made our business trip very enjoyable indeed.
This was our first time at a bed and breakfast. We travel a lot and always stay at four and five star hotels. I also check the reviews extensively, and am quite picky. Wow, where to begin? My husband and I had the pleasure of staying at the Forest Hill B & B on July 14 and 15 for a delightful couple of nights. We were in the area to attend a wedding. Went to a concert that was 10 mins walk away. Stayed one night, but would've liked to stay longer. Built in 1800's but updated and beautiful in decoration and architecture. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Bed was clean and comfortable. Only slight criticism would be that some downtown light sneaks through the blackout curtains, but that's really the only critique I could come up with!!
We got married at the Walper and it was a fantastic experience from the moment we started planning. We worked with two different wedding coordinators who were both amazing and worked to bring our vision to life. All of the staff were so friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was magical for our special day!
The Walper Hotel in downtown Kitchener combines history and modern comfort. The rooms are cozy and stylish with personality. Attentive staff provide a warm welcome. Its central location makes it a convenient choice for exploring Kitchener. Request a higher floor to avoid hearing activity on street level at night. A delightful stay blending charm and convenience.
Our second stay at this lovely unique hotel in downtown Kitchener. The rooms are immaculate, clean, and so comfortable. The staff is warm and friendly. The price point is perfect, and make sure you take advantage of the optional extra of breakfast! Delicious.
So Incredibly happy with my stay. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and super trendy. The staff was amazingly kind and always took the time to say hi and ask me if there was anything I needed. Service was impeccable! Clarissa (close to that, I can't remember) was kind, helpful, understanding and very warm. She dealt with out rooms lack of remote and cleanliness in a very professional way. Location of hotel is right near Laurier university. Lots of restaurants and bars. Room was decent.
Great room, clean and plenty of space. Coffee is good, but i would have preferred to have milk pods as opposed to packets of creamer. The concierge is friendly and there is a restaurant on site for meals. Overall, a pleasant stay. Pet friendly which is a great plus, as we travelled with our dog.
Great big clean rooms. Arrived really late at night but the concierge was very nice. Room was upstairs. The always available coffee is a nice addition. Keep in mind there’s no elevator either...
Great, clean. Not a lot of amenities but it's beautiful and the point is that it's so historic. Very friendly staff, huge rooms, comfortable bed. Beautiful architecture and a real piece of Waterloo history
This is a historic building where the hotel has existed since 1890... It was renovated a few years ago and now has about 15 rooms over 3 floors. Being an old building there is no elevator so one has to carry the bags up the stairs yourself and that can be a task. Room is neat with some of the antique furniture and quite comfortable. The bathroom is quite modern and provides for everything one needs...
