I loved that even though we put the “Do Not Disturb” sign on the door, we were left fresh pajama’s and towels, toothbrush and tea outside the door. Great stay!

Clean. Easy to drive to with a late arrival. Will stay again.

This was our 3rd stay in a year, great staff, decent rooms. My only complaint is the shower heads are built for people under 5 feet tall, lol.

Everyrhing was adequate and served to purpouse.

Room was clean and area was close to stores and restaurants. Bed was a bit hard for my liking but ok. Would stay here again.

My TV randomly glitching had to complain 3 times on night 5 still had problems

Stayed here last night in the big room. Quite inexpensive for what it is, and the giant jetted tub was a real treat. The breakfast included was Eggs Benedict - cooked to the standards of a fine Calgary restaurant, with authentic Hollandaise sauce. There was also a selection of tea available in the evening. The owner is very pleasant and accommodating. Altogether, a great experience.

We were caught in a storm in Raymond and the Gemstone was a warm, clean and very comfortable stay. The host was exceptionally friendly. Would recommend to friends and family.

The hostess is fabulous, great value, highly recommend!

We found this wonderful place on the web and were very happy we did! The rooms are spacious and very clean as are the bathrooms and very homey.Our hostess went out off her way to make us comfortable and well fed. This lady is some cook! We certainly recommend The gemstone guest house and B&B!

This hotel is lovely. Stayed here for a conference and the reception we had in their ballroom was catered and all the food was delicious. Staff was wonderful especially Andrew at the front desk and Katie who is a server in the restaurant.

Good hotel for race weekend. Was fairly quiet. The bathroom door are barn slide style, which took a little to get used to. No breakfast with room. We had a race rate which made it a good value. Its in a great location. Parking out front can be difficult at times but there is lot of room out back

I typically stay at a Sandman Hotel if it is in the city that I am traveling to for a reason - their beds are the most comfortable I have ever experienced in a hotel. I also find the service to be much better than other hotel chains and they have a great pool area. We were in town for a sports event. Lots of teams were staying so it was a bit noisy in the evening until the pool closed at 10. Really nice enclosed courtyard with pool and hot tub. Comfy beds. Our pet-friendly room (brought our doggo) was nice.

Very friendly service on check in. Good location. Easy in and out. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Full size fridge!!! Couldn't get shower to work - it was late so I didn't bother to call the front desk. Only complaint.

Man helped me with luggage to second floor., used coin laundry, restaurant and breakfast within walking distance too. Nice and quiet for a Saturday night.

Charles Street home was exceptionally beautiful, our family had a great time staying there this past August weekend! We enjoyed the treat left for us by the host - very kind and thoughtful as we had been travelling for many hours. The beds are very comfy and rooms very nicely decorated and entire home was very clean. Would not hesitate to stay here again!

We stayed in this lovely Victorian house over the fall and winter and felt very at home. The place is warm and inviting, thoughtfully decorated, and extremely well-supplied in amenities.
