The Charles Hotel
Niagara-On-The-Lake, 209 Queen Street 🧭 Map
Stayed 2 nights on Travelzoo vouchers which included dinner for two - great value! Comfortable bed, nice size room, good amenities, spacious walk-in shower, polite and friendly staff. Expect the hotel will show a bit a wear - it was built in 1832! It's always a struggle to maintain very old buildings but it is evident management is diligent keeping amenities functional and the hotel clean and maintained...
Charming, but over priced for a cold old house. You can't adjust the room. temperature yourself, and it's too cold for making love. The AC causes a constant draft as you sleep. Lots of blankets on the bedding help, but we woke up sore despite the pillow top cover. It's also bright at night because of all the lighting outside the window. Friendly staff, but we wouldn't return.
Excellent hotel and venue, although we had a small issue with the HVAC controls.
The location is great and the food is fantastic! This quaint little hotel and Restaurant is beautiful, the food was delicious, the service was excellent, overall we really enjoyed this hotel/Restaurant
Loved our cute room. The burger and salmon were not great.
Great service, Great Food, Great Employees. This hotel offers the small charm of a Inn at competitive prices.

The Old Bank House Bed & Breakfast
Niagara-On-The-Lake, 10 Front Street 🧭 Map
The Old Bank House is a gorgeous historic site with one of the best views you can get at a bed and breakfast in Niagara-on-the-Lake. The building and rooms are clean and delightfully furnished with some rooms even having small balconies. The breakfasts were delicious and satisfying, with friendly service to refill coffee and juice. Our daughter was delighted to be given some hot chocolate in a fancy...
Wonderful charming house with equally charming hosts. Clean rooms and bathrooms. Breakfast was at 9 and a set menu which was a refreshing change from the usual. Food was fresh and tasty, and presented beautifully in a bright breakfast room with wonderful views, coffee and tea were of good quality. Michael was a wonderful host. The Courtyard gardens were delightful and the location and views from...

Good for the price Better it's the same chain hotel located on Ellie street.
The property is located on the main road, by the river which is great. No frills facilities and amenities. The location from the fall was a bit too far to walk but pleasant along the river, one can enjoy the view.
The guy named Terry from the reception was nice, helpful and accommodating. We like the free breakfast. Wifi is strong and AC. The room and washroom were all clean. No bad smell even the bed. The kind housekeeping always clean the room , towels and beddings. I will definitely come back. They didn't charge me for the parking.I had good night sleeps and they gave me the chance to choose a room. Because...
Is ok but the room need upgrade and the beddings is little bit old and towel have some dark spots but it still good for us
Location is good service at front desk is very good asked for late check out and they were amazing about it . The rooms could use some update and could use better blankets on bed  , overall the stay was nice got what I paid for
Very good 👍 cost-effective.

The price is very good. Whether you go to the revolving restaurant or take a boat to the waterfall, you can walk there. There are also various places to eat and cafes along the way.
Parking is convenient but charged. Breakfast is simple but filling. The room is large and quiet. It takes less than 10 minutes to walk to the waterfall. We stayed two nights in a row, highly recommended!
Nice location. Older , dated , but that isn’t a problem. The place needs a very thorough cleaning. Everything. Tv channels very limited. Plus side good water pressure in the shower
was there for labor day weekend people friendly stay there every year never really had a problem will stay again next year
Overall, it was okay, but there seemed to be some issues with cleanliness. There were bugs. However, most of the staff were friendly. They were especially helpful in allowing early check-in.
The location is really good, like it’s only 10 minutes walk from the Niagara Falls, the staff is friendly and nice.overall everything is good except one things: only the mirror in the toilet have light, so it’s so dark and just make u dun wana shower >.<

The location is excellent, within walking distance to almost all attractions and facilities. The staff is also very friendly. There is a little noise if you are near the parking space, but it is acceptable.
This place has access to all amenities staff is friendly, neat and clean environment, recommended A +
Great location! Stayed here for the location. Right on Clifton Hill in the middle of all the action. 5 minute walk to falls. Restaurants, shops, and all attractions right out your door.
We had a wonderful stay and always do when we come to Niagara once a year. The rooms are clean, beds comfortable, and the staff very helpful. The hotel is right on Clifton Hill near all the action and just a quick walk to falls. We will be back next spring.
All the staff were so nice and professional! This property is literally right in the middle of the Niagara ***** so it's perfect. I've come here for years when I was little, and now I get to bring my son here.
The hotel itself is fine. My problem is with the fact that parking is not free for hotel guests and we have to pay $15 daily. On top of that they rent it out to visitors so good luck for hotel guests to find convenient parking!

Nice for the price The people were very nice, the hot water in the shower took time to get out....thanks
Part of the hotel is some motel rooms that is in convenient to families that take more than one room, strange people hanging out side of room smoking
Close to everything- hooters bar brings trouble tho- fridge didn't work- rooms could be cleaner- ours was dusty and smelled of smoke. We were all coughing the first night until the smoke smell cleared. Staff are helpful and friendly.
Building very old , damaged and bad. Facility felt bad including very old elevator and swimming pool. Queen bedroom very old and damaged shower tool head. Breakfast quite OK overall.
Need to get used to drinking cold water, because there is no water boiling equipment in the room
Staff was very cooperative and helpful. Specially I want to mention Om and Laadi names , Both was helpful and know how to serve customer. You can not expect room comfort like 5 star in these hotels, you get what you pay for ,on that note I can say we had nice stay in our 2 night stay.

When we read the reviews it mentioned it being old but an inexpensive place to lay your head. Since it was on AirBnB we figured it couldn't be that bad. When we arrived the room was well a room but we could see the effort...new modern headboards were installed the old ones left holes we could see, the mattresses were new, and the flat screen tv look newly upgraded but the scent, the linens, the bathroom...
Great place to stay, super awesome owners, close to all the main attractions, and very affordable compared to the competition Hands down! I would highly recommend this place for anyone who is looking for a place to stay when in Niagara Falls either short term or long! Cheers!
Our baseball team stayed here during a tournament. It was my first time staying here but other guys have stayed here for years and I can see why. The place is clean, staff are great and the beds are comfy. We had booked for multiple days but got knocked out of the tourney. I asked if we could leave early and get a refund and it was not a problem. They could have said too bad, your booked but didn...
When it comes to customer service I will recommend this place 1000%. From initial booking that we ended up calling to confirm an information we got a hold of the owner and he was extremely welcoming and understanding. We were booking a family room only for 10 people but room capacity was 8. Once I informed him about it, he was super nice and replied not to worry and they won’t charge me extra and will...
Reasonable prices especially for area. Friendly customer service. No frills kind of place. I would go back.
Enjoyable time! I would definitely recommend. :)

Good resort hotel near the falls . This is especially helpful if you are to visit Skylon Tower . This is within walking distance. Good impressive lobby.
Clean room with comfortable beds with some slight wear and tear. But 8th floor could not see the falls. We could see a glimpse of the river past the parking lots/skylon. In the middle between Clifton hill and table rock. Should be walkable but was too cold to walk the night we were there.
Good location and good customer service. Nice fitness center. Confortable and clean room
Overall is average and under value. The view from room is not that spectacular as describe. However, room is clean n tidy. Service prompt response upon request.
Nice hotel but our room was supposed to be with the falls view, which being on the 16 the floor, wasn't.
We are happy to stay in doubletree … the room is clean and good fit with family and kids… also our room can see the fireworks…. And I checked with front desk, all the rooms can view the fireworks. I definitely will come back to this hotel again.

Nice and good View is at Niagara Falls, very nearby Love the location
I truly cannot express how sad the Parking and extra fees you guys' charge? it's disgraceful! $35 a night for offsite parking where there is a shuttle that is never available. and its easy to walk back and forth from ... but there is empty parking lots everywhere. and then additional fees for daily charges and security. Will never go back, not what I expect from a Hilton.
Our rooms were amazing on the 45th floor of their US/CAD fallsview
View from my room was fabulous. It’s was a great experience.
The view was amazing and the room was so spacious and comfy. The breakfast room is a must if you stay here. We paid extra at hotel for breakfast meal set CAD 35 each. (No buffet option)
Amazing hotel close to event concert. We ate dinner at Corso Italian restaurant which was delicious and a variety of pasta dishes wine and dessert included. The hotel gym overlooked the falls and appreciate upgrading to a fallsview room. Would return 100 percent.

As every guest says it, the location is one the best in the area. There are WeGo bus stops near the hotel. A WeGo day pass at CAD 11 is good value. Armed with this pass, one don't even need to use the inclined train ( at the back of the hotel) to go to Table Rock Center. I my opinion, the close up view of the Horseshoe Falls outside Table Rock center is better than viewing from the hotel's falls view...
Ilwe have paid 150 CAD more for river review but we weresatisfied with the room and service.
Make sure you read the small print about the view of the falls! We booked a room that said “falls view” as opposed to “city view” but when we came to check in it was partial falls view and the photos of the view out the window were incorrect and it was half falls view but with the corner of another hotel obscuring the full view. We paid another £152 on top of the £240 we paid for the room to upgrade...
Easy to check in , they upgraded our room to the highest floor with amazing fallsview . Will definitely recommend this hotel .
Stayed in a renovated room with an excellent view of the Canadian falls. The hotel itself was too crowded. Had a 20-minute line for breakfast at 9am.
We took the bus to Hotel 15 mins from main bus station Room is great, views are stunning Elevator is only one for some building, sometimes we’re waiting for a long time Breakfast area is not enough for customers
