Shaw Club Hotel
Niagara-On-The-Lake, 92 Picton Street 🧭 Map
We stayed at the Shaw Club Hotel years ago and it was lovely. I returned last week and it was better than ever. Friendly, helpful check-in. Very comfortable room, thirsty towels, great shower, comfy beds. Restaurant food and service are amazingly good. One evening I wasn't sure of what to order, wanting something light but 'enough' to make me happy. Melinda provide a thoughtful recommendation and...
We had our brief honeymoon, just before Covid hit! I think they have struggled over the 3 years. So much transition in staff. Jenn, 9 years service, is exceptional in the restaurant! The room would have been a 2.5 ... You get the sense many of the former members just weren't able to stay. The rooms need updating and felt a bit tired, we went there for the memories, it was more the small touches that...
This hidden gem is amazing! The location is perfect for walking into town for shopping and restaurants. The rooms are very well appointed and feel upscale. We didn’t have the opportunity to have lunch or dinner at the on-site restaurant, Zee’s, but we did have breakfast. It was delicious and very fairly priced!
The bed mattress was hard and the king was two beds pushed together with a hard strip in the middle. Unfortunately we got the room right at the hallway entrance so we heard voices and foot traffic all night. Don't go for the view, our room Also had the delightful view of the parking lot. The bathroom sliding door gave it modern look, but was so noisy would not close it if partner is asleep. Also about...
Lovely spot with great location right across the street from theater & walking distance to downtown. Free parking for quests around back however this entrance is not handicap friendly. You can walk around to the front of the building & enter there & that is handicap friendly. Room lovely with extra sofa which created a nice sitting area (112) & our friends beside in (114) didn't have the extra seating...
Enjoyed a dinner that night. Fabulicious was going on at some of the restaurants in Niagara on the Lake. $39 for 3 course dinner. Set menu but many choices. This happens once or twice a year at 4 diamond and 5 diamond restaurants where you can afford to try some of their specialties

Stayed the weekend for Family day, room was beautiful (cozy bed, room looked newly renovated, plush robes in the closet A LOVELY SURPRISE)! They even left a bottle of wine (awaiting in our room for us) for our repeat booking. We were also given roses during turn down service. Spent time by the pool, dined at the Tiara restaurant, walked around down and visited all the shops. Such a classy place with...
Lovely hotel sitting next to the banks of the Niagara River, which is viable from The Tiara restaurant. Excellent choice for a relaxing getaway, with comfortable rooms, great food and professional, friendly and helpful staff - special call-out to Rose and Arthur, who have an old school approach to service, the likes of which you don’t see much these days. They know what you need before you even know...
We had amazing experience at the hotel. From the time you enter the hotel you know that you will be well treated. From the folks at the reception to the hotel to the shuttle drivers all of them were friendly, well informed and courteous. Shuttle service made it very easy to move around in the area. Deluxe room was big and bedding was comfortable. Very clean and well kept
Half of the staff is excellent, friendly and helpful. A few rude staff. Your guests will be confused on where to go, the place is huge and there's very little directional signs. It's kind of sad when the bridesmaids get lost. Food is EXCELLENT though, best vegan food out there, especially the dessert, best I've ever tried. Decor is lovely. The grounds are well kept and gardening is beautiful.
Outstanding place! extreme service levels. Never disappointed. Tiara Dining Room is above first class. Service by Arthur is phenomenal.
A place where old world environments meet new societal standards of elegance and class. Delicious options of food ranging from the traditional to the modern funk. The atmosphere is welcoming and not at all overwhelming, different from the pretentious colonial feel. Classically frequented by the more "well-off" groups but affordable to most. Great position in the old town portion of NOTL to be able...

We had a great stay and Christmas decorations in the hotel made us feel like a fairytale. The room was big with cozy beds. I loved the coffee machine with the provided coffee. The staff was very friendly and treated everyone like a high class.
Beautiful place to unwind from life. The spa is my favourite. Took a yoga class in the morning, loved it. Dinner at LIV is always impeccably delightful. Went for my birthday and LIV treated me a free dessert. 😊😊 Got to use the pool a few times, it was clean & empty. I liked the privacy. I have been to White Oaks about 10 times and love everything about it. ❤️❤️ The BED is probably the best I have ever...
Recently spent an over night with my dearest friend. From the moment you enter and to the time we left we were treated as royalty. The entire experience was fabulous. Our room was of course beautiful. Went to spa and Ashley was my professional attendant for the hour. Lush experience. Just checked in and already having a great time at the resort! We love coming here as the service and people here are so kind and helpful. Thu and Sahil checked us in and ensured everything was perfect. Thu is wonderful and accommodating and we are so happy that she helped us upgrade our room! We have stayed here in the past and have always enjoyed room service from PLAY and the indoor pool. We will...
Hotel was beautiful, but the atmosphere was what was stand out for sure. I hope everyone gets to experience meeting David in the front lobby, he made the experience that much more exceptional. The Play bar and grill was great for a drink and appetizer, and the LIV had the most incredible food and dining experience ever. Amazing weekend, and will definitely be returning for the reasons mentioned above...
Celebrated our 10 year anniversary in January 2024. Top notch experience from check in to check out. Greeted by front reception with some surprise strawberries in our room. Old-world elegance and charm like in this hotel are so rare. This hotel is truly unique (at least within Canada) and I hope the owners continue to invest in its upkeep rather than modernizing. Staff were excellent; the facilities, including the restaurant, gym, pool, and bar (which I've all visited) exceeded my expectations.
The Prince of Wales hotel is so charming and delightful with a touch of elegance. The staff is exceptional-so welcoming and helpful. It really is a special place to visit. Our room was lovely and so comfortable. The fireplace just added to the ambiance and the tub was perfect for a long soak after a fun day of shopping, eating and exploring. There are 3 restaurants to choose from and each has it’s...
Fantastic, room, food and service all was perfect. We stayed one night in a king bed room. The room was perfect and exactly what was expected. We had cocktails at the Churchill lounge and they where delicious, we ate dinner at noble and the food was fantastic, then we had high tea the following morning in the drawing room and it was perfect. The service staff in each of those locations where fantastic...
I had my wedding at the Prince of Wales in the Victoria and Albert room. This is such a magical and romantic hotel. The service was stellar, the food was amazing, and the rooms were so beautiful. They have a very reasonable wedding package and it made planning my wedding so much easier. The food was delicious, and we even got to have all of the appetizers in our own little platter because we were busy...
What a lovely place. From the beautiful authentic historic decor to the incredibly friendly and accommodating staff. We couldn’t have been happier. Food was great too. Oatmeal with sour cherries and roasted peaches, lamb done just right. The pool is also a perfect temp and the hot tub is actually hot! We also did the carriage ride which was also beautiful. And location couldn’t be better. Just perfect...
I did not stay at the hotel this time, my review is for High Tea in The Drawing Room. We spent a lovely afternoon having some of the best tea and delectable food. The service was excellent too. Our table was reserved but wasn't ready at our reservation time. They did seem very busy though and kept checking on on me reassuring our table was being prepared and would be available soon. Just spent two nights at this exquisite hotel and loved every aspect of our stay! The hotel is located right in the heart of Niagara on the Lake and is a very close drive to several amazing wineries. Came to Niagara on the Lake since neither of us have been in 20+ years. Was also our first getaway all year. Did not disappoint. Hotel was very nice with clean rooms and dare I say...to many pillows for once(trust me it's not a bad thing). The spa was absolutely amazing and just what we needed. Between the Swedish massages followed by 2 hours in the sensory area. Was an experience almost like no other...
My fiancee and I spent the weekend at 124 on Queen and cannot speak more highly of the accommodations, service and attention to detail! We stayed one night on Thursday Dec 1st and had a great experience. The staff were all genuinely warm and friendly. Wish we had more time to explore the hotel but the cocktail bar is a hidden gem! Rooms were brand new and very comfortable...
Location was excellent. Property including parking and room in general was nice. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The town was very nice. We absolutely had a lovely stay at The Harbour House. The staff are very welcoming and warm- Thank you to Emmanuel, Walter and Brenda! We stayed overnight to celebrate our anniversary, and were very happy with this hotel. We arrived to find roomy covered parking (no charge) and easy, friendly check-in. The hotel itself feels like a B&B, and is in a wonderful location within easy walking distance of river walk trails, heritage sites, restaurants and theatres. Upon arrival, we found a card in the room congratulating us on our special...
We stayed here for four nights. The room was very nice and the staff were very friendly. Stays at Harbour House includes a European breakfast which we found to be exceptional. It is easily the best breakfast provided at any hotel we've stayed at in North America - and there is some day to day variation (great if you stay several days). Harbour House is a short walk from the main street and an easy...
Lovely hotel in a picturesque location within walking distance of the Main Street. The rooms (we had 3) were all individually decorated and very spacious. The staff were very nice and we had excellent customer service from them. We would thoroughly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again.
This was our first trip to Niagara-on-the-Lake and we are so happy we decided to stay at the Harbour House. It doesn't have the feel of a larger hotel; it's kind of small and quirky but in a nice way. The hotel doesn't have a restaurant or spa on site, but it is within walking distance to the main strip and they also have a free shuttle to wherever you want to go. Lovely boutique hotel. Great staff. Very helpful and knowledgable about the area. Cozy and comfortable. Enjoyed our stay last year and this year. Will definitely be returning there again.

This is truly a B and B dream house. The place was so welcoming as were the hosts. .we especially enjoyed the hot tub in a beautiful setting after a long ride along the escarpment. Thank you Jeff and Flo!!
I can't say enough good things about my stay here! Before we even showed up we wanted 2 nights but there was only 1 night available so we jumped on it. Absolutely amazing! Clean, beautiful house and rooms, and the owner/operator couple were friendly and went the extra mile to make us feel comfortable. The food was also incredible, with beautiful presentation. We are a young couple that enjoyed our stay at this B&B more than any hotel we've stayed at. We will be returning in the future. Highly recommended.
Beautiful, comfortable, and amazing food. An incredible get-away in Niagara on the Lake. Flo & Jeff are amazing, and they run an incredible B&B. My wife and I will certainly visit again.
Our stay was great. Since no one was booked mid week and just after new years. We got to pick our room from the 3 choices. We were provided with a happy and energetic host that you could see really enjoys what she does. Towels were left out for our hot tub trip after dinner. The room was cozy, and the electric fireplace made it super toasty warm. We awoke to a great breakfast made with style and taste...
Me and my girlfriend stayed here this weekend for our trip to Niagara-On-The-Lake. Flo and Jeff couldn't have been better hosts, and made us feel extremely welcome. Breakfast was delicious both mornings, and our room was so comfortable and cozy we had absolutely no problem calling our nights out in the town a bit early to go back and hang out at the B&B. Thanks again for a wonderful weekend!

Located walking distance for a attractions, yet in very quiet setting. Hosts put on decadent and delicious breakfasts. Super clean rooms. Very gracious hosts. Great coffee, hand pressed juices, everything from scratch. Ask for the house made spices and sauces. Delish!!!! Will return again.
What an amazing host couple. Super friendly and extruadinary attention to details made this a great stay. Warm and welcoming. We will definitely come back!
Blue skies is a wonderful B&B. It is a quick 10 minute walk to the downtown area. The rooms are spacious, clean and inviting. And the breakfast is to die for. The hosta don't just offer pastries, they make a homemade 3 course meal! Every morning was fresh juice, and homemade pastries with a main meal! We had a lovely stay and really enjoyed it.
Wow! We keep our house very clean but this BnB takes cleanliness to new heights. Spotless. The breakfast and coffee were all handmade and delicious and they catered to our 8am breakfast time. Ranju and Kumari are kind and thought hosts. We will be back again.
We had a wonderful time at Blue Skies! The hosts were knowledgeable about the area and happy to help with directions. We thought our room was perfect and cozy. Great place and an unforgettable breakfast!
I would gladly put 6 stars if I was allowed to. I don't even know where to begin to describe the amazing experience my wife and I had staying at BSB&B. My mom and I had a really nice stay here this summer. The room included a private outdoor terrace which we really enjoyed. Breakfast was great and included eggs, toast, fruit, yogurt, etc. Only comment is that it would have been nice go have something aside from eggs for one day but still we were very happy. Beautiful bed & breakfast. Word of advice: ask for any room other than the secretary, unless you don’t mind not having a second floor in your room. The good thing about the secretary suite is it’s right by the entrance. I was disappointed when I found out the breakfast was a “continental” breakfast (I put it in quotes because it was served to us and it included an egg). It was good, don’t get me wrong...
We had a wonderful time here during our stay. The building was very clean and well maintained. The stained glass windows and period style decor was like a time capsule. Loved my stay here - perfect location to walk around Queen Street, beautiful building that has been kept immaculately, and spacious loft suites. My allergies act up in old buildings (dust, mould), but the air and cleaning standards were top notch and I slept easy.

Charming, but over priced for a cold old house. You can't adjust the room. temperature yourself, and it's too cold for making love. The AC causes a constant draft as you sleep. Lots of blankets on the bedding help, but we woke up sore despite the pillow top cover. It's also bright at night because of all the lighting outside the window. Friendly staff, but we wouldn't return.

Solves the endless dilemma of high price, high amenity vs moderate price... and uncertain amenity. This is a moderately priced but perfectly comfortable and well cared for hotel less than a 15 min walk to the shops, restaurants and theaters downtown. Rooms are recently renovated. I booked this room about four months ago for one night and paid 535.54 Canadian, tax included. It is as good as a 3 star hotel but it really pissed me off when they charged me for a plastic bottle of water 1.70! It would have been nice that they put 2 free bottle of water in the room as courtesy!
Phew thank God! This place saved us from the Airbnb from Heck. We were able to get our family of 6 (2 adults and 4 small kids) in a double room) it was CLEAN, CLEAN CLEAN. The staff was friendly, the amenities are GREAT and it's.... CLEAN. This experience changed how I feel about Airbnb vs hotels. We are thankful for our stay here.
Clean and well cared for hotel. Stayed here on two separate occasions when touring wineries in NOTL and never disappointed. Comfy beds, spacious rooms and a very nice pool. Just far enough off the highway to keep the noise in the rooms to a minimum. Can't wait to return!

David, our host, was so welcoming and charming. Gatekeeper’s Retreat is a lovely home with beautiful antiques and a wonderful ambience. The breakfasts were amazing and so creative. This B & B is well situated and is within walking distance to downtown Niagara On The Lake. It’s also close to many excellent restaurants and wineries. We stayed two nights and will definitely be back again. Thanks to...
A visit to Panache bed and breakfast is unlike any other you will ever experience near entire life! When you step through the front entrance you will be amazed by how exquisitely beautiful this bed and breakfast really is! The rooms are absolutely beautiful with en-suite bathrooms in each, a comfortable and welcoming Library, with and exquisite and breathtaking Lounge! And I haven't even started to...

We stayed at the family suite. It was so cosy and comfortable. So many books to checkout and the artsy vibe of the suite was very superb indeed. The host was warm and inviting. The breakfast made by her was fantastic, especially the croissants. She was very helpful in suggesting places to visit. It was a great stay and I would definitely recommend this place.
This B n B is absolutely perfect! It has a lovely area for sitting and conversing, reading etc. A small kitchen area is perfect for making a coffee, tea or enjoying a glass of wine. The area is beautiful and so quiet! The beds were super comfortable and not a peep to be heard. It is very close to downtown NOTL but far enough out to give a rural feeling. Helen is very attentive and easy to deal with...
Great stay at 2 Moon Cottage! Helen is so lovely and very attentive. Booking and check-in were easy, the accommodations were clean and quaint. Breakfast in the morning was fantastic! She even made special accommodations for dietary needs. Highly recommend a stay here in niagara-on-the-lake!
This was the most gorgeous bnb we have been to, the owner was especially lovely and accomidating. The rooms and beds were very comfortable and the breakfast was next level sensational. Located very close to the main strip we would highly recommend.
Amazing B&B, tucked away in a beautiful neighborhood. Only 25 minutes away from downtown Niagara Falls. The bedrooms are incredibly comfortable, the garden is wonderful, and the breakfast is totally delicious! This place is worth the money, and will definitely have a repeat visitor!

The hotel's restaurant, Bella Vita, is Niagara-on-the-lake's hidden gem! The coziness of open trellied terrace, the view from the bar and the food! Food is amazing!
Not the most friendly. Looked at us weired when we wanted to sit at the bar. Had the Cornish game hen. Was dry. Was told that everyone else got it and had no complaints. Didnt even look at it. Everything else was good.
Good location. Right on the main strip. Pretty inexpensive rooms and great customer service. We had a bit of a booking issue but it was resolved promptly even at 1am. Would definitely stay here again.
Hotel is just ok. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Breakfast is a tiny portion of cheese and a tiny portion of ham with a piece of bread. This I didn't like. If you are not going to have a buffet at least you should serve "normal" portions. On the other hand the guy that served the food was the same that was at the front desk so he forgot to put things in the table such as butter and he also forgot...
