The Charles Hotel
Niagara-On-The-Lake, 209 Queen Street 🧭 Map
Stayed 2 nights on Travelzoo vouchers which included dinner for two - great value! Comfortable bed, nice size room, good amenities, spacious walk-in shower, polite and friendly staff. Expect the hotel will show a bit a wear - it was built in 1832! It's always a struggle to maintain very old buildings but it is evident management is diligent keeping amenities functional and the hotel clean and maintained...
Charming, but over priced for a cold old house. You can't adjust the room. temperature yourself, and it's too cold for making love. The AC causes a constant draft as you sleep. Lots of blankets on the bedding help, but we woke up sore despite the pillow top cover. It's also bright at night because of all the lighting outside the window. Friendly staff, but we wouldn't return.
The location is great and the food is fantastic!
This quaint little hotel and Restaurant is beautiful, the food was delicious, the service was excellent, overall we really enjoyed this hotel/Restaurant
Great service, Great Food, Great Employees. This hotel offers the small charm of a Inn at competitive prices.
Really great service from all the staff. The continental breakfast was great - not your average American continental breakfast.

Shaw Club Hotel
Niagara-On-The-Lake, 92 Picton Street 🧭 Map
We stayed at the Shaw Club Hotel years ago and it was lovely. I returned last week and it was better than ever. Friendly, helpful check-in. Very comfortable room, thirsty towels, great shower, comfy beds. Restaurant food and service are amazingly good. One evening I wasn't sure of what to order, wanting something light but 'enough' to make me happy. Melinda provide a thoughtful recommendation and...
We had our brief honeymoon, just before Covid hit!
I think they have struggled over the 3 years. So much transition in staff.
Jenn, 9 years service, is exceptional in the restaurant!
The room would have been a 2.5 ...
You get the sense many of the former members just weren't able to stay.
The rooms need updating and felt a bit tired, we went there for the memories, it was more the small touches that...
This hidden gem is amazing! The location is perfect for walking into town for shopping and restaurants. The rooms are very well appointed and feel upscale. We didn’t have the opportunity to have lunch or dinner at the on-site restaurant, Zee’s, but we did have breakfast. It was delicious and very fairly priced!
The bed mattress was hard and the king was two beds pushed together with a hard strip in the middle. Unfortunately we got the room right at the hallway entrance so we heard voices and foot traffic all night. Don't go for the view, our room Also had the delightful view of the parking lot. The bathroom sliding door gave it modern look, but was so noisy would not close it if partner is asleep. Also about...
Lovely spot with great location right across the street from theater & walking distance to downtown. Free parking for quests around back however this entrance is not handicap friendly. You can walk around to the front of the building & enter there & that is handicap friendly. Room lovely with extra sofa which created a nice sitting area (112) & our friends beside in (114) didn't have the extra seating...
Enjoyed a dinner that night. Fabulicious was going on at some of the restaurants in Niagara on the Lake. $39 for 3 course dinner. Set menu but many choices. This happens once or twice a year at 4 diamond and 5 diamond restaurants where you can afford to try some of their specialties

Stayed the weekend for Family day, room was beautiful (cozy bed, room looked newly renovated, plush robes in the closet A LOVELY SURPRISE)! They even left a bottle of wine (awaiting in our room for us) for our repeat booking. We were also given roses during turn down service. Spent time by the pool, dined at the Tiara restaurant, walked around down and visited all the shops. Such a classy place with...
Lovely hotel sitting next to the banks of the Niagara River, which is viable from The Tiara restaurant. Excellent choice for a relaxing getaway, with comfortable rooms, great food and professional, friendly and helpful staff - special call-out to Rose and Arthur, who have an old school approach to service, the likes of which you don’t see much these days. They know what you need before you even know...
We had amazing experience at the hotel. From the time you enter the hotel you know that you will be well treated. From the folks at the reception to the hotel to the shuttle drivers all of them were friendly, well informed and courteous. Shuttle service made it very easy to move around in the area. Deluxe room was big and bedding was comfortable. Very clean and well kept
Half of the staff is excellent, friendly and helpful. A few rude staff. Your guests will be confused on where to go, the place is huge and there's very little directional signs. It's kind of sad when the bridesmaids get lost. Food is EXCELLENT though, best vegan food out there, especially the dessert, best I've ever tried. Decor is lovely. The grounds are well kept and gardening is beautiful.
Outstanding place! extreme service levels. Never disappointed. Tiara Dining Room is above first class. Service by Arthur is phenomenal.
A place where old world environments meet new societal standards of elegance and class. Delicious options of food ranging from the traditional to the modern funk. The atmosphere is welcoming and not at all overwhelming, different from the pretentious colonial feel. Classically frequented by the more "well-off" groups but affordable to most. Great position in the old town portion of NOTL to be able...

Niagara-On-The-Lake, 413 Gate Street 🧭 Map
Anca was a gracious and fabulous host - just the right amount of attention to make sure we had exactly what we needed, whilst giving us space to enjoy our time in NotL. Her breakfasts each morning were exquisite - and she bakes the most incredible muffins.
The apartment was spacious and comfortable, in a beautifully quiet neighbourhood - the bedding on the bed was a delight and we slept like a dream
Anca’s place is spotless & charming. She is very kind & helpful. Our breakfast was amazing! We loved our stay & hope to return!”
Great place to stop when wanting a little more room than your average Hotel. Breakfast is brought straight to your table. Nice ?? Highly recommend ....
Beautiful spacious suites. Delicious and filling breakfasts. Cannot recommend enough. Very close to the main strip in Niagara on the Lake and most wineries. The best place to stay if you're visiting the region. Have come here 6 years straight.
I just activated Williams Gate B&B Foursquare account. Looking forward to connect with previous and future guests, this way as well.
We stayed here at the end of April. Anca was very kind and a pleasure to deal with. She made a wonderful breakfast every day thy was just great. Highly recommend this place.

The Georgian Residence Luxury Boutique Suites
Niagara-On-The-Lake, 58 Johnson Street 🧭 Map
Well, it is advertised as a B&B. No breakfast. Suite was extremely well equipped and everything very clean. Bed wonderfully comfortable. We were welcomed in by the owner who was most pleasant. However Kathryn who I booked with and had telephone conversations with never showed. Nobody to see us leave or ask how everything was. This, we found most odd, sadly. Being business people ourselves I would advise...
Had a wonderful stay here for our 25th Anniversary. The owners, Bobby and his wife couldn't have been nicer. This historic Inn is beautifully decorated, with four poster beds, original fireplaces and nice and quiet (even being on corner street with a 2-way stop sign). The bathrooms are even beautiful, with many extra small touches not found in other places I've stayed. We stayed in two different...
My husband and I are career travelers, and not easily floored by service and accommodations. Georgian Residence and its fabulous owners consistently set the standard for unforgettable hospitality experiences. We LOVE this place and the gracious hosts, and have decided to make it our one annual getaway. Don't miss out on a visit to the Georgian!

Absolutely PERFECT!! Me and my lovely woman spent 3 nights here. 1 of which, sadly, she got very sick. I'll talk more on that in a moment.

We stayed at the family suite. It was so cosy and comfortable. So many books to checkout and the artsy vibe of the suite was very superb indeed.
The host was warm and inviting. The breakfast made by her was fantastic, especially the croissants. She was very helpful in suggesting places to visit. It was a great stay and I would definitely recommend this place.
This B n B is absolutely perfect! It has a lovely area for sitting and conversing, reading etc. A small kitchen area is perfect for making a coffee, tea or enjoying a glass of wine. Great stay at 2 Moon Cottage! Helen is so lovely and very attentive. Booking and check-in were easy, the accommodations were clean and quaint. Breakfast in the morning was fantastic! She even made special accommodations for dietary needs. Highly recommend a stay here in niagara-on-the-lake!
This was the most gorgeous bnb we have been to, the owner was especially lovely and accomidating. The rooms and beds were very comfortable and the breakfast was next level sensational. Located very close to the main strip we would highly recommend.
Amazing B&B, tucked away in a beautiful neighborhood. Only 25 minutes away from downtown Niagara Falls. The bedrooms are incredibly comfortable, the garden is wonderful, and the breakfast is totally delicious! This place is worth the money, and will definitely have a repeat visitor!

Absolutely fell in love with this whimsical and old world charm inn tucked away on niagara on the lake. Best things to look out for at this property-
1. Old world charming architecture

This is a beautiful hotel. Vintage in style, and we loved every minute of our stay. Unfortunately the weather didn't cooperate with us skating in the gardens but we made due with the available facilities. Made the already super cozy hotel that much cozier. The traditional room with 2 queen beds with outdoor access were perfect. Room lovely. Bed comfortable. Coffee urn in lobby out of order. Even though tea bags were available, no kettle for making tea and keurig always leaves coffee taste so tea was not enjoyable.
The location was great and the staff was extremely helpful. The site isn't accessible (no ramps or elevators), and we had a second floor room which meant lugging heavy suitcases (the staff helped with this, but I can't imagine the struggles for anyone with a physical disability).
The room was fine she the decor was charming. There was a decent amount of space, but the bed was more of a full sized...
Can't beat the location downtown. Older inn, but has all you need. We didn't know it was affiliated with the larger Prince if Wales inn next door which had a pool. So we weren't prepared for a swim. I recommend it.
Great room, comfy beds, updated bathroom, close to shops. No parking fees. Zain, the desk clerk, was very nice and welcoming. All staff were very pleasant. I would stay here again.
When I read the reviews before my stay I was a little leery, but I had no reason to be worried. Yes, it's a very old hotel, but not all rooms and areas are as bad as reported.
Part of an amazing chain of hotels, just less features so it is cheaper. But its still pretty darn good.
Inn has been freshened but retains its quaint feel. Not fancy; comfortable and perfect location with kind staff. We opted out of the breakfast option (Prince if Wales is where to go) as the brunch that day was tasteless. Stagecoach is where we went for breakfast instead.

Look forward to staying with them again in the near future :)
We had an amazing weekend! Such gracious hosts! The home is in a perfect location, and John and Carolyn take tremendous pride in what they do. The breakfast is superb! They also allowed me to park my motorcycle in their garage! Thank you so so much!

A very basic B (just Bed, no breakfast)! The place is quaint, cozy and charming and located very conveniently in NOTL. Rooms are nice, clean and offer essential amenities. Great stay located within easy walking distance to town. Comfortable large room. Too bad gas fireplace didn’t work to finish our romantic stay. Breakfast was delicious served by Julie. Nice lady who was kind and gave us some tips about the area.
