Hotel was lovely, friendly staff and very accommodating. Love the virtual text assistance.

Restaurant tip - the foie gros is not actual foie gros - its chopped up and baked in the bread. Be warned!

We had amazing experience at the hotel. From the time you enter the hotel you know that you will be well treated. From the folks at the reception to the hotel to the shuttle drivers all of them were friendly, well informed and courteous. Shuttle service made it very easy to move around in the area. Deluxe room was big and bedding was comfortable. Very clean and well kept

Stayed the weekend for Family day, room was beautiful (cozy bed, room looked newly renovated, plush robes in the closet A LOVELY SURPRISE)! They even left a bottle of wine (awaiting in our room for us) for our repeat booking. We were also given roses during turn down service. Spent time by the pool, dined at the Tiara restaurant, walked around down and visited all the shops. Such a classy place with great service, special shout-out to Cassidy at front desk (thank you!!)!

The staff are great, dinner was great too. My daughter loved the decorations for Christmas, but the bed in why I'll never go back. The mattress was bowl shaped...it's a hotel and an expensive one at that. I'd expect to be fairly comfortable at night. By 5am I was on the floor trying to relieve my new found back pain. Bad enough that I can say a holiday inn or a Travelodge would have been better. A misshapen bed in a hotel is insane. It's the one thing I expect hotels to spend good money on and without a doubt I'll never be back. Hands down the single worst nights sleep of my life.

Lovely hotel sitting next to the banks of the Niagara River, which is viable from The Tiara restaurant. Excellent choice for a relaxing getaway, with comfortable rooms, great food and professional, friendly and helpful staff - special call-out to Rose and Arthur, who have an old school approach to service, the likes of which you don’t see much these days. They know what you need before you even know you need it!
Loved the spa, with pool, jacuzzi and sauna - especially lovely during snow as you can see it through the large windows!

Half of the staff is excellent, friendly and helpful. A few rude staff. Your guests will be confused on where to go, the place is huge and there's very little directional signs. It's kind of sad when the bridesmaids get lost. Food is EXCELLENT though, best vegan food out there, especially the dessert, best I've ever tried. Decor is lovely. The grounds are well kept and gardening is beautiful.

Outstanding place! extreme service levels. Never disappointed. Tiara Dining Room is above first class. Service by Arthur is phenomenal.

A place where old world environments meet new societal standards of elegance and class. Delicious options of food ranging from the traditional to the modern funk. The atmosphere is welcoming and not at all overwhelming, different from the pretentious colonial feel. Classically frequented by the more "well-off" groups but affordable to most. Great position in the old town portion of NOTL to be able to walk to the big highlights of the main streets and friendly service. Try this hotel or conference room, it's truly worth it.

We just finishing a stay at this hotel using two adjoining rooms.

Positive: great location, beautiful building, comfy beds, lovely pool, quick room service, provided a nice crib for our baby, some very friendly employees.

Negative: our room was very dated (and I’m not talking vintage dated), there were tons of cracks in the ceiling around the crown moulding and one long one in the ceiling that had been patched poorly, the carpet was dated/old and dirty looking, so were the curtains. The showers (in both rooms) frustrated me to no end, they were either cool or scalding hot. There have been a few employees who weren’t very friendly and two that were downright rude. The worst was our waitress. She served us efficiently (and the food was very good) but she was cold and made zero chit chat. At one point I moved our stroller to give her more room to get by, I said “sorry about that” with a friendly smile...she said nothing, looked annoyed and walked past. Our baby wasn’t crying or disturbing the restaurant ?‍♂️

As much as I like the location and vintage look of the place I was very disappointed by the rooms we had. I don’t want to pay to stay in a room that is very dated and in disrepair.
