My husband and I just stayed here for our mini honeymoon. I read every review before we booked and took them into consideration. What I will say is, I had zero problems with our room. We stayed in the deluxe room and it was beautiful. The service was top tier. The front desk staff were extremely helpful and both the cannery, and vintage wine bar were delightful. We booked a carriage ride, and even though it rained - it was so beautiful and informative. The spa is great. The hot springs are just a fancy hot tub but it was relaxing and the outdoor heated pool was my favourite part. We had no problems at all.

Absolutely fell in love with this whimsical and old world charm inn tucked away on niagara on the lake. Best things to look out for at this property-
1. Old world charming architecture

3. Virtual concierge service and warm welcome by the staff
4. Staff even got us a rose to the room and gave us chocolates! So sweet of them.
5. You get to book your 20 min spot at the hot springs
6. Indoor pool with jacuzzi

Our Christmas getaway at the Pillar and Post, part of the Vintage Hotels network, was nothing short of enchanting. The hotel exuded a magical ambiance with its stunning decorations. The rooms were not only cozy but also tastefully designed. The high-quality cuisine, coupled with the charming Christmas garden, jacuzzi, and pool, provided a perfect blend of relaxation for both body and soul. Our heartfelt thanks for a memorable stay!

This is a beautiful hotel. Vintage in style, and we loved every minute of our stay. Unfortunately the weather didn't cooperate with us skating in the gardens but we made due with the available facilities. The 4 star rating is just for a little upkeep that is needed (peeling ceilings in bathroom, paint chips around the headboard). The room itself was spacious and everything clean. Toiletries, towels, bedding all luxurious. We would like to come back to do the spa. Two pools! Indoor and outdoor heated. We didn't try them, but other guests said they were awesome. Check in was a bit slow and we had to wait almost an hour past the 3 pm check in time. Very limited parking and it was a scramble to get a spot but they do have a valet option if you want to pay. Turn down service included a fresh rose. ❤️

Made the already super cozy hotel that much cozier. The traditional room with 2 queen beds with outdoor access were perfect. Loved the indoor pool and jacuzzi, loved the outdoor area by the outdoor pool, with fire pits at night. Really wonderful. To top it off, had dinner at The Cannery , which is fine dining. Had the chicken supreme which was the best stuffed chicken breast I have ever tasted. Pretty decent breakfast for $28. If you go, you’ll love it!

We got married here Friday and stayed the long weekend

The wedding was perfect. Antonella is amazing and so kind. Our bartender was really personable and thoughtful. Food was fantastic at the wedding and the cannery puts on great meals as a restaurant.

Our room was impeccable and we loved the spotless pools and hot springs. Honestly everything exceeded expectations and I could not be more thrilled. The jacuzzi tub in our room was a wonderful touch.

Highly recommend - My partner & I came here to celebrate my partner's birthday in NOTL for the weekend and made it a special one. We were able to join their "Warm up to Winter" getaway package which included a specialty coffee to enjoy on their premise.

We appreciated the thoughtful touches in our room, from the happy birthday token to the details around the place:
- My partner & I loved their exfoliating soap
- Their bathroom towels were plush and soft
- Bed was comfy, as expected
- They had coffee downstairs in the lobby near outdoor pool and in the spa area.
- Their staff were accommodating and friendly all around.

We also got to take advantage of their heated pools and the hot springs.
Would visit again.
