Hotels in North Bay

Stayed here for the first time recently. Room were okay but need updating ( new brighter coat of paint, new lighting in bathroom etc). Beds were okay and had a good nights sleep..a little pricey at almost $200 to lay your head down. Brunch the next day was also very pricey..40 for adults and 35 for seniors..$75 for breakfast for two. Likely stay somewhere else next time...

BW NBay is our go-to in North Bay. Pool, hot tub, restaurant, bar, all day coffee and walking distance to the Crown and Beaver. And reasonable rates.

Overall pretty good. Could have been a little cleaner & have a working heater in the room.

Great value for money. Comfortable bed and pillows, USB ports beside bed, clean room... all you would expect from a hotel like this, but I usually have to pay more for it. Friendly staff throughout - front desk, restaurant, lounge etc - and a great and affordable breakfast! Excellent conference room too. No view to speak of, but convenient.

Had a wonderful stay at the Best Western North Bay. The rooms were clean, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. Appreciated the in-room microwave and refrigerator. The staff was friendly and always ready to assist. Would definitely stay here again! 

Enjoyed the pool. Noisy through the night with doors closing. Not soundproof enough. I found it was pricy for the room and I booked through Triagle

Clean room and overall very spacious room and bathroom. The bed is very comfortable and I enjoyed the softness of the pillow and bedding. I wish they had some options for China plates and cups. Everything is paper or plastic!

Everything was wonderful. No real complaints other than the pool heater needs to be turned up a bit

We have stayed there numerous times over the past year for family issues with the exception of one time, all of our stays have been exceptional The staff at the front desk have gone above and beyond for us, and even now recognize us The hotel was close to everything that we need and I enjoy walking either to the mall or to any of the other areas that I need to get to

Staff were nice, bed was super comfy. Rooms are dated and there were some cleanliness/age issues in the room, but not a huge deal.

Nice but sketchy! Bed was clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was hard boiled eggs, toast, bananas , apples, cereal, coffee, yogurt. We heated our eggs in microwave and that was awesome. We parked around back that seemed sketchy. Lights were burned out in parking lot. It is like an old state of the art place run into the ground and now someone is attempting to revive it. Great price...

Before booking there should have been an advertisement saying the pool didn’t work. I had some sad kids.

Would recommend this place very clean

The hotel is fine and a good price. Service was very good. It is not a regular 3 star hotel as upgrades are necessary. However it is a very good 2 star with a very quiet location.

The pool was closed do to the heater being broken, whirlpool was empty, and not much lightening in the room for reading,

Good location, good prices. It was under renovation and the only reason for the 3 stars were due to the construction workers leaving a mess everywhere. I feel a good owner/manager would have higher expectations or be prepared as the common spaces and entrance had garbage and cardboard everywhere even after hours. I have stayed here before and normally it is a very good spot.

Nowadays, it's harder to find clean hotels, I travel a lot and I ended up a couple of times to places I did not want to sleep. Every time I'm in North Bay, I book at the Hampton. The price is fair, the place is clean and well-located.

Close to the university and college. Restaurants and shops within walking distance. Local restaurants with a discount partnership which was easy to use. Nice little touches like coloring supplies for kids at breakfast with a sign placed at kid's eye level. Very clean. I stayed in an accessible room. We had such a wonderful stay! The staff were very welcoming. The rooms were spotless! The beds were soo comfortable! The pool and gym was very clean too! The breakfast was delicious! We can not wait for our next stay. My family and I highly recommend The Hamton Inn in North Bay.

the rooms are dated and the mattress is hard coil spring so not very comfortable. So many smokers stay there and are outside smoking.

Room was clean and adequate. Breakfast had lots of variety but hot items were the same every day.

Everything was good I would stay there again. Food was good and a good veriety. I actually had a really good rest. No complants and the area was close to most everything

The toilet was hard to flush, had to hold down the handle a looong time. When I had a question to the young male receptionist he sat in the chair in the back of the office. I think he should have stood up and walked up to the window.

Easy access off of the highway-plenty of parking available. Check in was quick and friendly. Room was clean and comfortable, with no issues. Breakfast was lovely with so many options. And the price was fantastic. Excellent stay!

Easy to get to, easy parking, friendly staff, convenient location, inclusive breakfast that was better than some we’ve experienced elsewhere. Not a lot of plug ins for EV’s, quite a busy traffic corner on weekday mornings.

Nice clean room and a great nightly room rate. Comfy beds and lots of hot water. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Location is great within short walk to the waterfront. Will definitely stay here again the next time I am in North Bay.

It was a decent room for the price. Bed was comfy. Heaters worked — I had ridden 800km on my motorcycle in pouring rain and was shivering like crazy when I got there. Had a hot shower. Breakfast was adequate to start my day. Wouldn’t be my first choice for my family but for a traveler on the cheap, you can’t go wrong here.

Overall, it was a decent place. It's an old hotel and the age shows, but as for cleanliness I was quite impressed. Small details such as the way the shower curtain was placed or the folding of the first square of toilet paper were nice flourishes. Realistically my only issue with my stay was the bed. It was very stiff and I could feel the springs. Might have just been the specific room I was in...

This is a great location for the snowmobile trails. I stayed here last year and again this year. The owners are 2 very polite and friendly hosts I have met. The rooms were very clean and updated not to say spacious and comfortable. I would highly recommend staying here winter or summer. Thanks again for being great hosts !

Its a gem of a place. We had a king fireplace suite and it was so nice. Everything was nice and clean. The owners are super nice and friendly. Right on the lake with lake access. It was a perfect stay for a ice fishing weekend.

This place was excellent, very clean. A little small but it was cozy. There was wine glasses ready to go in the room. The jacuzzi was great and relaxing. Stayed here with my wife Dec 8/9/10th 2023. We found the room to be very clean, breakfast was DELICIOUS! They have a waffle maker on site, free juice, coffee, cereals, eggs, etc. Beds were comfortable. Highly recommended, and we would definitely stay here again!

The room was pretty clean, updated, and freezing when we entered. Had a view of Nipissing, but the windows are old and foggy, so you can't see. Breakfast was okay, and they had a lot of variety. For a stop over? Yes.

The staff at this location are fantastic! Friendly and incredibly helpful. We were in town for an OFSSA tournament and even though they were super booked between this event, a hockey tournament and a robotics competition the staff went out of their way to assist. The room was clean and fresh. The location is great. But the customer service is truly what made the difference.

Modern clean hotel. Mattress and pillows were very comfortable and the sheets SO silky soft. Coffee and tea in the lobby as soon as you arrive and the coffee was good! Great choices for breakfast. It was busy the Friday night we were there but our room was quiet.

What a nice little place to stay !!! Warm room , flat screen tv , comfy bed , microwave , fridge and coffee maker !! Called ahead to say we would be arriving late, owner accomodated us no problem . The Jacuzzi was fabulous although the water was yellow. I assume it was bc it comes straight from the lake. The room was great but didnt seem very clean. It was tidy bit needed a deep clean. Towels had a musky essence ans when I asked for fresh clean Towels I was told there werent any but was willing to wash them in the morning. Location had easy directions and very close to all amenities

Stayed here for a week when we where looking to buy a home in North Bay Khan and her staff treated us like family. Breakfast was great with awesome portions. We bought our home here and stop in all the time to say hi and thank them for a great stay. Come one come all and feel at home.

My son and I were travelling to Alberta with 2 dogs. It wasn’t a problem or an issue. The front desk clerk was really pleasant and had no issue lining us up with a pet friendly room. The beds were amazingly comfortable and we all slept like bricks.

Had an excellent stay. Staff is friendly, room was in great shape and tended to. Breakfast in the mornings is simple but a nice touch to a quick stay this past weekend. I had no complaints and will most likely stay again next year.

The rooms were very nice and clean, housekeeping staff was very nice and courteous kept my room nice and clean, and the front desk staff were great also.

No complaints about clean rooms or friendly staff. Don't expect to sleep in past 7am however during snowmobile season.

My husband and I recently stayed one night at this hotel while traveling through. I cannot say enough about the clean room, it sparkled from bathroom to bedroom. The sheets even smelled like they just came off the line. We had no idea what this hotel was but it had excellent ratings...5 star all the way.

Stayed 2 nights July 1, 2, 2023. Room was excellent. Everything was new and good quality. Very well organized shelves, desk, night tables. Comfortable bed (Queen in our case), slept well. Very quiet. The cottage layout was perfect for our family of 4 adults, a baby, and a toddler. We were there for 2 nights. Very close to restaurants and shopping. We stayed in the lakeview cottage, and it had a gorgeous view of the lake. We will most likely rent again in the summer months.

It's super cute for the price. I stayed for a week and absolutely loved the staff. The cleaning lady and the front counter lady were both super sweet. The cleaning lady provided extra supplies to last the rest of my stay. The hot water was amazing, barely needed it on to make it warm or hot. Would go again!

An excellent little motel with easy access to restaurants and lakes. Room was clean and had everything we needed (including a good corkscrew, which is often missing in hotels). I stayed here for several days while visiting the city and will definitely stay here again. Great value, very clean and the management friendly and helpful. I liked the location too, very close to 2 public beaches, an excellent diner, and shopping and conveniences. I stayed in a regular motel room, microwave and fridge. No frills that I don't need or use, but clean and convenient.
