Great place to stay if you're not going to spend too much time in the room. Also, parking is free which makes it convenient. Located near everything you need and easy access to the freeways. Room and bathroom were clean.
Only issue I encountered was that parking became difficult at night. I stayed on a holiday weekend so it may have been due to that, but they do have an additional lot next door which...
Nice Brekkie! Nice room! Pretty clean! Nice staff!
It is a good place to stay with a fair price! Close to bus stations for commute.
With what they listed, all matched my expectations. The breakfast was a bonus n staff extremely helpful.
The worst is Ctrip. My order is 20% more expensive than my friend's.
This hotel is giving motel vibes and a bit dated. However, they have excellent staff service and the rooms are clean minus a bottle they might have missed behind Bedside table. You also get grab and go breakfast which is fairly decent. It is close to convenience e.g. gas stations and bus stop. For a short stay..it is great but not for pampering
Everything is good free coffee

We like the location, always stay around this area, easy access to downtown, shipyards and west van.
Hotel is basic and dated but mostly clean. Breakfast is good.
For the price the hotel is what you'd expect. The rooms were clean but very dated. The beds were average on comfort level. Temperature controls work and room was nice and warm.
Breakfast was pretty decent. Warm pancakes and a toaster over to make ham and cheese melts, some small pastires, cereal and fresh fruit.
Keep in mind there is no longer a pool.
Location is fairly good. A couple minute walk...
A nice surprise it doesn’t look very appealing from the outside but the rooms are spacious, comfortable and very clean. WiFi is good, shower strong and staff friendly. Breakfast still comes in a bag, not sure why.
I spent 5 nights staying here at the end of my holiday in Canada and it was the perfect place to finish. Close to public transport. Great breakfasts delivered to my room each morning were a nice touch and Denny’s is within easy walking distance for other meals. Comfortable room with everything I needed, I’ll be back.
I spent three nights at this hotel and enjoyed my stay very much. The room was spacious and very clean. The prices were fantastic than other hotels. And they provide breakfast and take them to your room each morning. Great value for the money. I would definitely stay here again.
The rooms are very clean and cozy. Equipped with a fridge and a microwave + coffee machine. Awesome breakfast: eggs and sausages, cold cuts, fruits and stuff. They have a machine that makes pancakes! And all this on a budget!

Some of the staff are addicts themselves so they fit right in with the rest of the place lol The place is very old yet has maintained it's integrity to an extent. Special privileges are given to select individuals so it is beneficial to some guests that have become regular fixtures
Tjis hotel has been turned into an S.R.O ( Single Room Occupancy) by B.C Housing.
Small hotel on E.Hastings str which lead you through Chinatown to Downtown. The rooms are small old moderated but clean. Lobby is small but symphatic. The breakfast is served in the pub, regular nothing special. But in the evening there is a interesting coutry music or jazz

An historic Vancouver spot in Vancouver's Downtown East side. Ignore everything you've heard.. it's a very safe place, that we've been frequenting for years. Worth the free Jazz Saturday afternoons (by donation), the good freshlyrics brewed beer & tasty pub grub. Friendly service, decent prices
Location is awesome easy to get every where however you cant have a weak stomach. Its is east hastings. You will see drug use...passed out homeless people...tents.. the staff is great. Restaurant downstairs great. The rooms are small but you get what you pay for... great place to rest your head on a budget.

Beautiful views of the city and waterfront. Great location for boarding our cruise. Delicious breakfast buffet, pricey but worth it. So convenient and relaxing we added another night's stay at the end of our cruise.
Housekeeping very attentive to details, great location walk distance to major shopping areas.
Good hotel with a reasonable management team👍. Their booking system with others plateforms’s connection needs to be improved.
It was a beautiful hotel, very clean and close distance to many shops and restaurants.
service was great we got into our hotel room early and with ease. the room was clean and had a fantastic view of the harbor and city

The hotel is located in the most prosperous area of Vancouver. The sea and the pier are right outside the window, and you can see the big cruise ship. It is very close to FlyOver Canada, just a few minutes' walk away, and 600 meters away from the Gastown Steam Clock. Very satisfied 👍
The location is very good, the transportation is convenient, the facilities are complete, the surrounding restaurants and shopping are convenient, and the steam clock is very close
I had an event at the Vancouver Convention Center and it was very convenient because it was very close to the street.
It was a low-rise city view, but it was cozy and felt good because I could see a small garden.
The facilities were clean and the staff was friendly, so I was satisfied.
Service: All are OK. It is a famous old hotel in Vancouver. It has an excellent location. It is surrounded by the city center. There are all kinds of food. There are all kinds of luxury stores around. Shopping is extremely convenient. It is close to the seaside. The scenery is beautiful. You can take a walk in the evening to overlook the surrounding sea view of Vancouver. It is very good! But the price...
My guests were very satisfied. The room was clean and tidy with a great view. The service was attentive and thoughtful. I look forward to my next reservation. The check-in was smooth and the check-out was convenient. I highly recommend it.
As soon as I entered the room, I was shocked by the beautiful view of the bay outside the floor-to-ceiling window! The sea and the sky are one color, so beautiful that it is breathtaking!
180° unbeatable sea view room, when you open your eyes in the morning, you will see the cruise ship and the snow-capped mountains, and the city lights are on at night, and it is super cool to see the night view....

The location was ideal for accessing Canada Place, very close to the Sky Train station and within easy reach of Robson Street.
Really good location for the cruise terminal. Staff very friendly and welcoming. The refrigerator in the room (1212) was very noisy.
Had a second stay here after our cruise. Had a much better room this time (1007). Again staff were just so helpful and even loaned me a baggage scale to make sure our cases did not exceed or baggage allowance.
Very beautiful spot. Easy access to food, w oceanic views. Pub for food opens @ 11:30am. No breakfast. But the swimming pool/gym/hot tub/sauna all male up for not having a breakfast menu. The pillows are buttery soft, and even sleeping on the pull out mattress was very comfortable. It was really a great spot to lay my head
The hotel’s location is basically perfect. Just a couple blocks from the train station and Canada place. We arrived late, after 21:00, but the receptionist was very courteous and polite. There was no hassle checking in, and we went straight to our room. And what a room! We booked a king corner view suite. We stayed at the King suite harbour view room. The view was amazing and such a treat to be able to look out of those giant windows every day. I'm a solo traveler and this was perfect. Is located at the harbour front within a 10 min walk to the train.
The harbour facing suite was worth the view. The room was clean for the most part and the service was great. It's a small bathroom without a tub but I didn't mind.

Loved the ethos of Skwachays. Staff very friendly and helpful. Enjoyed communal spaces and meeting other guests.
And loved vibe of the neighbourhood.
Stayed here to support local artists, but it is not managed very well. Do yourself a favor and don't bring a car. You have to park in a garage behind the ally. It's very small..we could not avoid scraping our car. Someone at the desk has to open the gate coming and going, so you have to stop, go in, and ask for someone to open the gate....wait, then drive in. Same for leaving. We returned our car...
I love the concept behind this hotel, which is why we booked our stay here. The rooms are clean, the staff was helpful, but the hotel and room were dark, not much natural light, so it felt a bit stuffy. Also, the area is shady, with homeless people and druggies around. They say the area is safe, but we just didn’t feel comfortable walking there. The streets also smell of urine. I wish this place was...
The Skwachàys Lodge is a nice place to stay in Vancouver. The room was amazing and the staff is super nice.
The location is tricky: very close to Water street which is full of restaurants and shops but also very close to a zone full of homeless. We were astonished but in the whole three days we never had a single issue, not even at night.
The room that we stayed in was clean, beautiful and it smells good. It was like a gem nestled in China Town. The people are friendly and thorough and gave us a tour where we can find everything in the hotel. We enjoined the sauna and arts gallery. We really recommend it!!
We loved the cool decor in the rooms. The folks there are great! Breakfast was simple and tasty. Loved the art work!
Neighborhood can be sketchy after dark because of zombie addicts, but that is a big city problem all around.

However The bathroom door was loose and make a squeak noises also the shower was design for short people, I had to kneel to wash my hair. This is an older hotel that has been renovated. It was clean and adequately appointed. The rooms were comfortable. The price was right, but best of all, location location location! If you’re on a budget, this is a good choice.
Overall just okay. The room was quite dated but for the most part clean, nothing quite impressive. During our stay the water was out for a couple hours which was annoying. Given this building is 100 years old, I am overlooking a few things that could use some updating. What I absolutely cannot get past, nor understand, is paying $700 for 2 nights. There is NO REASON for it.

Ramada Limited Downtown Vancouver
Vancouver, 435 West Pender Street 🧭 Map
It's clean and the location is good. But certainly it does not live up to the expectation. The building is old and it has clearly not being renovated in a long time. Rooms are not only small, but tiny. Staff at the desk is very helpful and friendly.
Room was very small, barely enough space to move around. Room did not have a safe, and front desk safes are not big enough for laptops or tablets, so beware. Elevator had issues. On the plus side, the bed was comfortable and the pillows were firm.
On the main drag per say in Vancouver, not a far walk from major attractions such as the steam clock, Canada place, etc. Need a key card to access the front door- once checked in
Elevator was broken all weekend so they put us on the second floor in a super small room where the heater didn't work. Second room on the same floor was much bigger and the heater worked. Clean bed. No view. Close to everything including the seabus. Would stay here again but on a higher floor to get a view. Staff are all very nice. The free breakfast is enough to get the day going.
An average hotel. Little bit shabby. Clean bathroom. Helpful staff. Good location for Gastown. Short ride from the airport.
the people that worked there were really nice and helpful. the location is great as there is easy access to public transportation and there are lots of restaurants and cafes nearby. also, there is an open 24/7 convenience store just on the corner! the hotel itself is cute, breakfast is great, and i really liked this place

The location is excellent, very close to the Steam Clock and some important attractions in Chinatown. The room is clean, the bed is big and the quilt is big, and the bathroom is clean. The hotel is very unique and cost-effective. It is worth experiencing. The service attitude at the front desk was good and the city tour map was very considerate.
It’s expensive. Other than that, it’s fine.
Delighted that we could check in early. Our flight back to UK was cancelled so booked this hotel last minute. 3pm check in however we got to hotel at 10am and room was ready 5 mins later. Could not ask for more!
This hotel is so great! The location is unbeatable, as is the price. I am old and asthmatic, so I worried about a 4th floor walk up hotel room, but I was fine! And I worried about a shared bathroom, but it really wasn't an issue - and I pee a lot. I never had to wait for a toilet, and there is a sink in the room. The staff was friendly and accommodating and helped us bring all our gear to our room...
The room is clean and the air conditioner is powerful. Bring your own slippers
I really enjoyed my stay at the Victorian! The rooms are very clean, bright and beautiful, the staff are super friendly, and the location is central! Only downside is the parking is a bit of a trek away with suitcases in tow, and it's damn near impossible to get out of! I'd recommend offloading your suitcases before going to park.

Friendly, helpful staff. Super comfortable room. Very central.
Emma (I think her name was?) at front desk was very helpful and so kind! They gave us a choice upon check-in of 1 King bed or 2 double beds and that was a nice touch. Everyone was always asking us about our day and that was lovely. :)
Very nice hotel in a great location. Staff are friendly. Valet parking (underground) is available at 38 CAD per 24 hours (2023 price). Can reach most places downtown by foot. Suite slightly small & sofabed not too comfortable. Air conditioning is good but a tad noisy. Overall, a pleasant stay.
Beautiful hotel with comfortable, well-appointed rooms and lots of thoughtful touches. They recently installed media panels, so guests can cast Netflix and Spotify in the rooms. The staff were wonderful. We had a problem with our dry cleaning (not the hotel’s fault) and they were very understanding & helpful in sorting it out.
Great location and nice ac & tv. Had a good night without dealing with heat. There are usb charging port too which was super convenient. The staffs are THE best.
Great location! Beautifully decorated suit rooms, have separated heatings for both the sitting room and bedroom. The corner rooms are particularly nice. Hey.. it's imperfect. But it's inexpensive, close to a lot of cool stuff, and I thought overall it was ok. If you're a traveler like me this place ain't bad.
Safe and secure, but has/had roaches. The owner/manager apologetically told us this after we checked in. We sprayed our own bug spray along the window sill and all around the door so that we would not leave with critters in our bags. It worked; we left clean. Places to eat to are all close by. The bus station is a few blocks away and that is why we stayed here in the first place. A grocery store...
The most important feature in a hotel room for me is the bed. And I wish the bed & linens were as high quality as the rest of the hotel.

Although it is a three-star hotel, the software and service are far beyond this level. The location is great. The breakfast is a set menu, one of three choices, but you need to pay a tip. The taste is very good.
One of the cleanest hotels I have ever booked. The service, cleaners, and location are perfect.
The staff are very helpful and friendly. I have always enjoyed having a quick chat with them.
The room is comfortable, spacious, with a huge wardrobe! It also provides bottled water.
The location is great! Walking distance to many attractions!
The front desk staff is friendly and polite. The room is not too big, but it is comfortable. There is free bottled water in the room, as well as a coffee machine and tea bags, which is quite considerate. The hotel is in a very good location, with convenience stores and restaurants nearby. The only downside to the hotel review is that the toilet has a peculiar smell, which greatly deducted points.
Very good accommodation experience, the hotel is not big, the location is good, you can walk anywhere, very convenient, very close to the subway station to the train station, turn left and it is 30 meters away, the express line to the airport is not available, turn left and turn left again and walk for 10 minutes. The front desk service is enthusiastic and the room attendant has a good attitude.
The room is exquisite. Breakfast is also very exquisite. The hotel front desk is also very exquisite. The hotel's bar and steak house is said to be very famous in Vancouver. Unfortunately, it seemed to be reserved on the day we stayed, so we didn't go in. Very good experience, will go again in the afternoon.

We were not very happy with the service though, as we arrived at the hotel, we weren’t greeted even though there were 3 people working at the valet nobody directed us where to park. Very, very nice. The rooms are very good and functional! The staff is very friendly. I loved the high tech elevator and had never seen anything like this.
We had a light dinner at Mosaic restaurant. It was quite good.
The only disappointment was the wine list at the bar. They feature wines from BC, but nothing from the premiere wine areas.
Real nice downtown hotel. Mostly business travel type hotel but it is a nice location. The staff is all very friendly and professional. There is a small pool/hot tub and gym here. They upgraded me as a globalist member to a bi-level suite which is amazingly nice.
My Dad and I had a wonderful time--the view was FANTASTIC, and the staff members are exceptional. The service level was amazing! I especially wanted to point out that Ben was very helpful to us during our trip. He answered several questions for us throughout our stay and gave us some wonderful recommendations that were really helpful in making our vacation so memorable.
Our room was immaculately clean...
We stayed at Hyatt for a conference which was also hosted in Hyatt. The rooms were lovely and a great location.

Accommodation prices in Vancouver are eye-watering, and this is one of the cheaper options in the central city. I found the service exceptional and the highlight of my visit. Very friendly and helpful. There was no air conditioning which was fine in may, but possibly could be hot in August. Location was central to everything we wanted to do in downtown. Restaurants nearby were fantastic.
Stayed 1 night for Roger's event. Cute little funky place. Room was as advertised and clean AF. Sad to see them closed?
The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The area was awesome, accessible to a lot of places (restaurant, groceries, transit). The hotel itself is clean and has a very 90’s feel decor. The rooms are small but it did the trick for a one night stay. A quiet neighbourhood. I am not a fan of shared washroom, but they keep theirs very clean. Would definitely recommend this place to someone who is...

Very small room, but comfortable beds and pillows. The baseboards in the room were dirty, and the towels had grit and hairs in them. The TV had lots of channels and streaming options which was nice to watch and relax between outings. It was close to everything we wanted. Usually an Uber to anywhere we wanted was about $13, but transit is an option too for those who prefer that
I really liked that this hotel is focused on giving back to the community, and even its key card was wooden to reduce the amount of plastic used. I had booked 2 nights but due to flight changes, I informed them I could only stay the second night. On arrival very early in the morning, reception kindly let me check in then as my room was ready - this was very much appreciated after my long 14hour flight...
The hotel was very well located and provided affordable parking. We found that it was significantly cheaper than surrounding properties and offered good value. We enjoyed spending some time on the outside terrace on the 11th floor. On-site washing and drying machines were appreciated. It takes some time to get used to the concept of having a shared bathroom with the adjacent room.
This place was such a steal! You are right downtown (right across from BC Place).
The staff was so friendly and check in was smooth.
The hotel room we got was a single queen with a private bathroom and the room was beautiful! Freshly renovated, it had a ton of space for us, and the bed was so soft! (Felt like a cloud) We also had a fridge.
The shower and bathroom are great, the shower was walk in...
Nice clean bright room with a great view. Hotel prices in Vancouver are crazy high right now so this was pretty good value for a central location. We went for a Whitecaps game so very handy for BC place. Highly recommend they have a kitchen as well for prepping your own food. Highly recommend for short or longer stay. Will return for sure.
Beds are comfy, pillows are fluffy and wifi is strong and free! Directly across from BC Place, around the corner from Rogers Arena and a few blocks from the Entertainment District!!

We were very lucky to be upgraded to a suite so we were super comfortable with a sitting room and an outside deck. The amenities, the bar and dining room were very good. The staff were excellent and so helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others staying in Vancouver
Great boutique high end hotel. Service and location outstanding. Beds comfortable and room is clean. Nice bathroom s. Balcony was great to enjoy the beautiful weather. Cafe Medina next door is Michelin rated and off the charts. Locals tip: Vancouver Public library is 3 minutes away. On a nice day, take a beverage and book to the roof top and read amidst a rose garden.
Absolutely amazing, loved staying here. The nicest boutique hotel I have ever stayed and the staff were so friendly to approach and always happy to help. Great location to get around town.
This hotel is fantastic. The patio was huge, the bathroom had a deep soaking tub, a relaxing rainfall shower with very good hot water and pressure and the toilet is in a separate room from the tub/shower/sink. The high tea at their restaurant was SO GOOD and worth the price. There is no ice machine/snack machine or microwave in room which was fine because the location is right by tons of restaurants...
They let us check in a couple hours earlier and gave us a much unexpected upgrade! Staff was wonderful in the lobby and in the restaurant as well, the room was nice and cozy, super clean (I’m a clean freak) and both the room and the towels didnt smell like harsh chemicals which I loved. Super walkable to some of the tourist spots and lots of restaurants and cafes. 10/10 will stay here again next time...
The finest hotel I have ever had the pleasure of staying. Staff is impeccable. The room is spacious and well appointed. The bathroom is huge with a separate WC. Good ventilation on all four rooms. It's super quiet, just an awesome place. If I could give 10 stars, I would. I was not compensated in any way for this review
