Prince Rupert, 118 6th Street 🧭 Map
I have always stayed here and was devastated to see a whole new crew of staff some I’ve known that have worked here for over 15 years are now gone apparently we have new owners. The cleaning staff is all changed. There are no more indigenous people hired. there’s no shampoo in the room.
Good stay, but a few issues that the front desk looked into. A carbon monoxide sector went off in the adjacent room and I heard it all night. Then the second night tried to take a bath and the water was a bit brown.
The staff were amazing, friendly and efficient. The property and our room were clean and comfortable.
The only place I ever stay when in Prince rupert staff are lovely. Hotel is clean safe love it love it.
Looking out your window and seeing garbage over the roof wasnt very appealing. other than that beds are comfortable and room was clean.
The customer service is excellent. Staff at this hotel are so helpful and friendly. My room was clean and tidy. The gym was great. I would definitely stay here again.

Friendly staff, right close to everything, clean rooms.
Excellent atmosphere the bed was comfortable and the staff was pleasant and a quick check in and check out. Breakfast was great! The view was perfect.
Myself and some colleagues recently stayed here for work purposes. We really enjoyed the quaintness of the hotel, Cindy took very good care of us, upgraded our rooms which was amazing as the view was breathtaking. The breakfast was awesome and we were greeted with happy/friendly service.
I would definitely stay at this hotel again if ever in Prince Rupert.
A big thank you to CINDY for going above...
Overall great location with some renovations and upgrades. The bathrooms are a bit out dated but otherwise the rooms feel refreshed. Comfortable beds. Great friendly front desk service. My only complaint was the tv was mostly digital with very few channels working.
A great experience from check-in to check-out. Nice view of the harbor, ships and boats. Breakfast in the morning was great. Walkable to many restaurants and stores. Great check-in process after arriving at 1AM on BC Ferry. Would stay here again.
Ran out of eggs. Don’t have granola. Location was excellent except for the dump place by you. Excellent bed. Because we got a good deal, and the view was amazing, it was worth the money

The Hotel itself is nice, very old school feel. The room smelled musty, like old cigarettes, hence the 4 star for the room. It was feint, but present. Overall an exceptional stay, will return 😃
I stayed in the suite on a family trip, and it was fair considering the price. It provided us with a comfortable spot to rest, plenty of space for family to meet, and a great ocean view. In my opinion, the crest is easily the best place to stay in Rupert.
In the limited options of Prince Rupert, Crest Hotel stands out, but the 4-star rating feels a bit generous; more like a 2 or 3-star place. While the staff is friendly and rooms clean, it's undeniably dated, perhaps benefiting from comparisons to nearby hostels. The parking is limited, and the street view is unattractive. However, given the scarcity of alternatives in Prince Rupert, it might be the...
The service is immaculate, kind and attentive. I had the hot cakes, they were soft but not soggy even with the berry compote. Best hot cakes I’ve had. The view is beautiful. Mucho wildlife to witness.
The chair is comfortable. The temperature is great (my body temp regulates slowly, sitting by the window is great for me)
10/10 recommend. I bet sunsets are beautiful here.
I wasn't looking for a room, I was actually looking at the menu for the restaurant. I was looking for lobster tails. I was feeling lazy and wanted someone to cook. None on the menu, as a chef, I am quite particular about where I eat and what I eat. It's a popular place just not what I was looking for.
The restaurant for dinner and the breakfast was delicious

Pillsbury Guest House
Prince Rupert, #1 Pacific Place on Bill Murray Way 🧭 Map
We visited Prince Rupert in July 2019, but unfortunately we did not stay in this heritage guest house. I discovered it on one of my morning walks along the Waterfront walking trail nearby. The red coloured building overlooks the harbour and has a fantastic view. It is supposed to be the first residence built in Prince Rupert in 1908 for the supervising engineer, J.H. Pillsbury, working for the Grand...
A lovely quirky venue, a fantastic host and a superb twist in the story. This is an experience not to be missed.
Very generous breakfast, passionate host in the best location.
This was the bed and breakfast we stayed in. The Pillsbury Guest House. Our hostess, Colleen McGillicuddy McLaren was fabulous. This was our first stay in a B&B and Colleen made it memorable. From our first morning of a 3 course breakfast, to the history of the Pillsbury House and Prince Rupert , to the entertainment Colleen provided which included singing three Edith Piaf songs, all helped to make...
Awesome - stay for the beautiful and authentic house, stay for the location (waterfront), stay for the views, and most of all, stay for conversation with Colleen - she is a gem, knowledgeable, and a fantastic cook. Everything is authentic and mainly original but with all modern conveniences. I had the best sleep, the best breakfast (including the best unlimited coffee), and the best B&B experience...

First of all there was a very small parking space, we could not able to park on-site. This is one of the worst place to stay, our room curtains were very dirty ,lamp sheds are full of dust, breakfast was just a minimal. I don't know about other rooms. Staff are nicer and accommodating.
The rates are very good, especially if you're on a medical trip. Great people on the front desk. Excellent service. Clean . Some of the beds are getting pretty lumpy though.. and the fans are very noisy. They will wake you up if you hadn't planned on getting it
Mistakenly thought this was Pacific Crest hotel. Very standard 50/60s looking hotel. No A/C. Loud neighbors (with crying child for hours). View of back parking zone and bright security light. Breakfast was basic. Good commercial muffins. Nothing really wrong but not a place to seek out.
I have never stayed in the rooms however we book all our contractors to the hotel and they feel like home. Clean, friendly, lovely on site restaurant. It should be a 4 Star rating. All my dealings with bookings have been expeditious and professional.
I was stranded in prince Rupert as my ferry was cancelled for 4 days unexpected I had very little money and iam not from bc ,, my husband was in camp hours away and I had two huge dogs this place accommodated me and my furry family they assured me I was safe and we’d figure stuff out as the days went on the people just became more helpful Thankyou for your beautiful support!!! I will always come back...
We moved here from the Prestige. Very bad experience at the Prestige, but the Pacific was top notch. Friendliness and cleanliness was awesome. We were treated like we were welcome compared to being treated like criminals at the Prestige hotel. This is the only place we'll stay.

Great people and very accommodating. I had a pet friendly room and everyone treated both me and my dog with nothing but kindness and respect.
The best hotel I ever stayed at.
Magnificent place 👌
Stayed here many times in over 30 years. Great on a budget. Rooms are comfy n clean. Great new murals on the building.
An older hotel, but the beds were comfortable and the room was clean.
Front desk staff were awesome when I checked in, but the gentleman when I checked out was just on his phone and didn't look up or acknowledge me until I spoke up.
Was nice to have a parking lot attached to the building!
Excellent service from the hotel front desk (Nero)!
Good central location. Fun pub / lounge below the hotel.
Walk-in cooler for fish storage if you are fishing.
Rooms are renovated and clean.
4th floor rooms are hot in summer but they have plans to install A/C units.
A decent hotel, downtown, restaurant down stairs, parking, guest laundry. Friendly staff

Very cute, affordable, and clean. My first time staying in a hostel and was nervous about sharing washrooms but there's 3 on the second floor and were nice and clean. Rooms are a little small but the duvet and pillows were super cozy. Walls are thin and you can hear everything on the hallway but other guests were quiet and considerate. I would stay again!
It was very a very clean room. I could not figure out the buzzer and thought I was not going to get in for my reservation as there was no clear instruction on the door as to what to do. Apparently, you press the buzzer and staff has to drive to the door at night to let you in as they had gone home, and they wear an alert which they have to respond to. Hmmm. Maybe they need a new system, because the...
Cool place with a hostel-like feeling.
It's nice to have a shared kitchen, and they also have private suites.
The rooms with the shared bathroom are quite small but still worth it. Nice location next to the sunken gardens and the cozier part of town.
Lovely hostel, great clean organized kitchen, private rooms and shared rooms available,
Always so clean, staff is welcoming, it's affordable, and it's cozy. Perfect place to stay for a day or a week!
Awesome and helpful staff. Clean and comfortable beds. Definitely would stay again.
