Prestige Oceanview Hotel Prince Rupert

Get ready for the worst hosting experience of your life. Where the employees are extremely rude, knocking on doors at night, not greeting you at the hotel reception. Terrible internet connection drops several times, impossible to watch a video. Rooms are not cleaned properly and I had to call 3 times for someone to come clean. Extremely noisy, you hear the pedestrian crossing signs, shouts in the street. Employees talking loudly in the hallway, old furniture, not smart TV, coffee maker in the room older than my Grandma's. I'm crawling out of bed. Breakfast area is clean but there is no variety of anything. In other words, it's expensive just for the central location, but extremely disorganized, they don't offer anything for your bags at the entrance like help with carrying it, there are 2 girls at the front who are very rude, and the internet is terrible, the noise is due to the discomfort of everything, no spend your money in this place or tell someone about this hotel as a suggestion my experience with the guest was extremely unpleasant

My first trip to Rupert for gymnastics and I was greatly disappointed in the room. It was musky smelling, there was (I'm hoping) pizza sauce spattered on the wall, dirt and grime and fuzz on the outlet by the bed. The table between the beds had something sticky all down the side of it. The smoke detector looked like it fell out at some point then placed back in the spot. The water sprinkle beside the smoke detector was falling out of the ceiling. Lastly they put us in a room facing tim hortons which was horrible because people hit the cross walk button that's all we could hear all night. when I brought this information to the front desk she said "they are getting ready to replace the windows".
