Reviews
Got to the room and it smelled like dirt. The shower leaked and it was so dirty we just were grossed out. Beds were ok for comfort but the room was so small felt like a single room crammed with 2 beds. The hotel is so run down.
Got up for breakfast waited 20 minutes to get seats. Then was told we had to collect vouchers. Went out and was only given 2 for 4 of us. Had to beg to get vouchers for our 2 boys.
Children’s meals not served with drinks only coffee, tea or water. I had to ask why no juice or milk for a child. Eventually had to have chef come out and tell server to give our children a juice box. We didn’t get coffee refills and 50 minutes of waiting for breakfast.
Believe me this will never be a place we will return to. So tired of being treated badly.
So my wife had made a booking online. The day before our plans changed a bit as to we would be bringing our dogs so she called the hotel to make sure they were pet friendly. Whomever she was talking to took her info and said they made the changes to her reservation. So we arrive, she checks in and takes our luggage to the room and I take the dogs for a bit of a walk around and then proceed inside. Where I am stopped by the front desk person and informed we were not given a pet friendly room. So I call my wife to come back down and that we have to change rooms. We were then notified of the 40 dollar charge per night and per pet so an extra 80 dollars. We then proceed to the "pet friendly" room, which is in the back corner of the hotel. We opened the door and there was a very musky and gross smell. The room itself looks like a pay per hour outdated room yet they still charge the same as the renovated rooms. I pulled back the top cover and there was a lot of hairs and other stuff on the bedding.
We decided not to stay the night. Went to check out and the now night shift front desk person offered absolutely no apologies or anything and actually tried to charge us the pet fee for a second time.
There was also a used dirty diaper that was sitting in the hallway for multiple hours as well as old room service trays. Which wete repeatedly passed by employees of the hotel and when we informed the front desk got a "oh well" type of answer.
Please save yourself the headache of this disaster building and stay away.
I also forgot a black work blazer in the closet. I called a couple of times and each time told me the room had been cleaned, they would look for it, but there was no record of it being left. On my fourth phone call they 'found it' and asked me to email about getting it shipped. I emailed them 5 days ago with no reply back. We would not go back and would not recommend.
My only complaint is that the desk in the room had slanted edges. I didn't notice until I had put both my computer and my cell phone on the edge of the desk and they both fell off. This seems like an odd choice for furniture in the room as it reduces the usable space of the desk and serves no purpose.
I liked that they had an extension cord near the bed for me to charge my phone as there weren't any free plugs near the nightstand.
The free breakfast was tasty (I had eggs, bacon and hashbrowns). Unfortunately, there was only one server for the whole restaurant so it took a while for him to come and take my order. Once he did, breakfast arrived quickly and it was cooked well.
Room and all furniture inside are pretty old.
Some employees couldn’t speak English when I asked she where is the Gym!
What I don’t like most when checked put early morning April 14, after paid everything by credit card the Employees asked me for the Tip (twice), it was lucky I had $10 cash, it’s very weird situation with me when I was asked twice like that with very pushy way.
