The hotel was great. The staff were accommodating and friendly. I felt it was a great deal, the restaurant was good for both dinner and the free breakfast. Reasonable prices. Great looking pool. I am a born and raised Sudbarian and have never stepped foot in this hotel. Even when it was a Holiday Inn back when the earth was still cooling... I was pleasantly surprised! Now it is old, but in good shape! Rooms are clean and modern. Basic room, nothing fancy. Nice helpful staff and a small fitness room is all you need! Would stay there again!

The stay at the Radisson was good overall. Clean and comfortable room for a family’s one night stay for sure. There was minimal mattress back support for me, I do ok with soft but I am a firm mattress person. Heating was working and comfortable at night but did not heat up the room initially. Would recommend.

We had three rooms for one night. Check in was efficient. Rooms are basic but clean. Bathroom is clean - tiles are nice. Breakfast is very good but the server (an older lady) was excellent! Good restaurant nearby.

We cancelled the Raddison after reading the terrible reviews and booked here instead. Got a large very nice room, excellent breakfast and treated well by the wonderful staff. No issues w druggies and such at this hotel as mentioned at other hotels in town. Will stay here again when in the area.

Very impressed with the staff from the time we checked in. The room was clean and had plenty of sources to plug in our cell phones and tablets. We were impressed with the included breakfast (see pics). We were not impressed with the smell of cigarettes entering the building at the rear door! Hadn't stayed here in about 25 years. Nice bathroom finishes and some areas looked recently renovated. There was also a bar and restaurant, very helpful.

It served the purpose, but the hotel is showing its age. Needs a little maintenance at the room level. I do like the quiet time (something like 10pm-7am, two strikes policy).

My boyfriend and I recently stayed in the king whirlpool suite, we had a great stay and they helped out with anything we needed. I requested them to put a fridge in the room and they did it free of charge!! I also forgot my power cable in my room, and I was able to get it back cause their service is awesome!!! The rooms are spacious and quiet, clean and beds comfy. Parking is convenient. The continental breakfast is very very basic (definitely not as good as other places that provide a hot continental breakfast!) so we went elsewhere for the other days of our trip. A very plush room decked out very nicely. No complaints here. A little confusing to find our way downstairs for the breakfast, but we finally figured out. The downside is, there's not much close to the place, however, that shouldn't deter you away there. The breakfast was great and so was the sleep. It's a recommended for a 2-star visit. The Ambassador Hotel had a nice receptionist. Their wifi was good. The restaurant looked nice but I didn't try the food. Lots of room for parking trucks and trailers. Pretty standard rooms.

I was expecting it to be nicer. The website photos were much nicer than it actually was however the room was still ok. Other than the tub. I would not recommend a bath only shower. They do not have an elevator so that was annoying lugging luggage up flights of stairs. It was a speedy check in and check out. It was a little too pricey for what it was.

Went for a hockey game so location was awesome! Room was smaller but very clean and a good price for one night. However, manager at front desk could be more friendly, i know it can be difficult dealing with different personalities and people, but refresh and give yourself a break so you dont take it out on a new customer your the first point of contact.

It's old and its downtown. Good staff and the room was okay. I was on a road trip and drove to Sudbury. Had no idea of the town or amenities. It's not so much the hotel that will keep me away. The question is why would anybody go to Sudbury?

I have stayed here on multiple occasions when in the Sudbury area and find everything at the Hotel meets my needs, except parking is limited and located across the street. The rooms have been renovated and provide comfortable beds and amenities, such as a fridge and microwave, etc. and the continental breakfast is reasonable. I will stay here again.

It was very clean with excellent customer service. The breakfast which was included was more than we expected. Eggs, sausages, Bagels, toast, 4 kinds of cereal, juice/coffee/tea, muffins and you can even make your own pancakes or waffles. Pleasantly surprised!

This is our absolute favourite hotel in Sudbury! I don’t know how it’s only 2 stars. The pool and hot tub is wonderful, free breakfast is amazing and usually we only stay with our daughter but were AMAZED that they also have pet friendly options! The staff is also very friendly and helpful! 10/10

Perfect, very clean, comfortable beds. My room didn't have a microwave if you care about having one. Location is great though because Cora's is just across the lot for breakfast, Starbucks and Tim's within walking distance and there's lots of good restaurants around. On our cross-Canada bike ride, we were caught in heavy rain in Sudbury, and made our way to Econolodge completely soaked in the early afternoon. Clean rooms, full service kitchenettes, well maintained. KB makes sure everything is well stocked.

For what it is; a cheap, clean, and friendly inn, it is fantastic. Rooms are clean and warm, management is very friendly, prices are good for a quiet Inn. It is a little far from Sudbury however so eating late can be a bit difficult without a 15 minute drive into town.
