Best Western Plus Toronto North York Hotel & Suites

After checking in the room drop suitcase and treats left, the room about 5 minutes later to meet my girl arriving advise her park in the back near the room entrance. When we went in, we saw a young Punjab with a backpack going into our room. He said he was checking the towels? 2 minutes later, I ran down to the lobby and pointed to the rep at the counter. Is that guy an employee he responded yes" I'm having problems with him? At that point, I said if my room was released and ready by the maid and the supervisor that had the last inspection before advising the front counter room is good to rent. The front counter attendant (Al) main concern was that I'm glad you were not coming out of the shower. What the! Hotel and area not recommended,

Worst hotel ever. Do not come here. They are extremely unorganized and rude. They also will not do cancellations and screw up your rooming — they won’t take responsibility.

When we checked into the hotel room we were very unhappy with cleanliness. There was hair in the sheets and tub and garbage on the floor - an old receipt dated Nov 24th and an empty bottle of milk (for context we checked in December 1st). When we brought it to the staff they sent someone to clean the next day and the cleaning staff were very pleasant.
When we chose the hotel we were told breakfast was included, however at check in we were informed this was not the case. We ate one breakfast at the hotel where the fruit was mouldy and the toast was very stale.
Finally we asked for late checkout on our last day. When we returned from getting food at twenty to twelve we found our room door propped open and insecure. Upon check out, we expressed our dissatisfaction that our room was left unlocked and open and our belongings were still inside and we were simply told sorry. We asked who we could contact to make a complaint and were never provided any information.
The location is good and there are many fast food places nearby but that is the only benefit. We would never book to stay here again - DON’T go here!
Also the hotel pool was extremely cold.

The rooms we booked weren't what we booked. The package we paid for was two 2 double bed rooms, but were given two queen rooms. Reception told us they don't even have double beds at all, since they cater to traveling business workers on the go, not families. They also don't have any cots to make up for the lacking bed. So we were forced to book another room on the spot, and (surprise, surprise) all that's left is the most expensive king suite. For the price, the hotel room offered nothing in terms of information, nearby stuff to do or places to eat, maps, TV guide, etc. The desk chair was almost broken, and the light by the door didn't turn on at all. The toilet kept running every few minutes because of a broken seal or something. The ice machine on our floor wasn't on, so we had to keep going back down to the lobby. There was also no continental breakfast, which doesn't make much sense since traveling business workers would need something to eat quickly in the morning. Its location is optimal, being right off the highway, but there are a plethora of other hotels in the surrounding area. Absolutely not worth the price we paid, and we will book elsewhere next time.
