Chelsea Hotel, Toronto
Toronto, 33 Gerrard St W 🧭 Map
From the online customer service to assist my booking requests to my check out at the end of my trip, the staff at The Chelsea Hotel were amazing. The rooms are clean, comfortable. The location was a dream to access either shopping, eateries or public transportation. It seemed very family friendly (I did not have my family with me this trip but saw many there during my stay). The bar/restaurant TI...
Rooms are a bit dated and worn but still clean overall. Location is amazing, just steps away from the Eaton Center, Young Dundas square, and a subway station. The hotel featured 2 separate pool areas. The kids pool area was nicely themed with a water slide and hot tub. Adult pool and hot tub was situated on a high floor with spectacular views. Great stay overall, will definitely stay here again.
I am not sure why this hotel has so many bad reviews. Although we only stayed 1 night for a quick trip, I was very happy with my stay at the Chelsea Hotel. The hotel is quite large, and has a beautiful lobby. The rooms are not 'brand-spanking new' but they are clean and comfortable. We even had a balcony which we were not expecting. Overall, I would recommend staying here, especially that it's one...
Rooms are spacious, service is fantastic and location is awesome.
You will find Television, kettle, locker, Iron , Iron board, hair dryer and bath tub in the hotel.
They do not have refrigerator and microwave in each room.
You will find so many Club, Bar and Restaurant near by this location.

I recently stayed in the 2 bedroom suite with my family. My children thought this was the best hotel ever because of the kids check-in, playroom, arcade and toys provided in the suite. The suite is a bit outdated and the bathroom is small, but it was clean and for the price we paid, it was reasonable. The cleaning staff was friendly and always available to give us additional towels etc as requested...
My family and I recently stayed here for two nights. The location is fantastic. And I found the staff throughout the hotel to be really friendly and professional. The room was average looking and a bit small. But it appeared clean and good enough to sleep in. We had a balcony which we all enjoyed using to take in the city skyline. I would recommend this place for families as it was quite family friendly...

Amazing location, wonderful hotel amenities and helpful, friendly staff. Enjoyed the stay in the city & the pool was a wonderful reprieve from the heat!
Hotel is well maintained but is old. Shower integrated with bath filler didn’t work well- shower stream weak. Room size very average. Room view ok- looking into Nathan Philips Square.
The best bed I have slept in. The hotel staff are so friendly and the hotel is breathtaking. Highly recommend
There was not a weak part of my stay in this hotel. The staff was friendly and extremely happy to help, with exceptional competence in their field. The hotel was spotless and had a great energy. The service was speedy and the food scrumptious.
The hotel was in an excellent location withing walking distance to the City Hall, Eaton Center and other attractions. The Deluxe room had great views of the surrounding buildings. The room needed bit of cleaning which was promptly addressed. The a-la-cart breakfast included in the room rate was very good.
Great Hotel, very friendly staff and a great location. Staff tries their best to be helpful and friendly when it is really busy and crowded.

Fantastic customer service. Great history. Had a wonderful stay.
The hotel was a glamorous stay right in the heart of Toronto. There’s a feeling of old luxury in the rooms and the lobby. The room had been renovated recently but they’re much smaller than newer hotels and only just fits a couple and luggage. The amenities were good, and we used the small sauna and steam room. Everything about the hotel was great despite being so compact. The toiletries provided were...

The hotel is ideally situated of the front of the lake with the ferries to the islands just outside. An underground stop is just across the road with links to Union station and elsewhere. Thanks to Oliver for his amazing service. Beautiful and luxury hotel
The location is good but they don’t clean the room everyday. And they charge of $346.20 without any cost.
Booked with my daughter 4 nights to celebrate my birthday and sightseeing. Wow the room was amazing. Large, great amenities. Fabulous view of lakes. Lovely touch of wine and goodies acknowledging my birthday. Reception staff really helpful with reduced price tickets for local attractions and maps. We will return. Thank you
Location: The hotel is not connected to the PATH, that you can walk completely indoor from lakeshore all the way to Dundas street, with access to loads of restaurants and shops. The southest connected building is one street across the hotel.
The room was newly renovated, yet it was not in a modern way: the room lights were not turn on by slot in the room card at the entrance (actually there's no such...
It was really good. The front desk workers were so kind and helpful.

Great hotel in the heart of Toronto. Great deskfront staff.
It was expensive and noisy. Otherwise, a clean and well positioned hotel.
Super good location. There is sky walk from UP Express connect to the hotel. The hotel is located next to Union bus station. I took mega bus from Union station to Niagara Falls. It’s very convenient.
excellent location and service
The hotel was located in a very good location. It is extremely quick and easy to walk to the station for trains and buses.
Excellent location, with CN tower just at the door step, and a short walk to the harbourfront and union station. Many restaurants nearby too! Take the UP express from the airport and it's just a short walk to the hotel connected via the link bridge. Don't bother with taxi or Uber, it's 4 times the price and you might get stuck in a jam like me.

Great location, clean room. It would be better if breakfast was included as well.
What you’d expect for a Hilton. Clean, good service and good location downtown close to everything
All was fine except The Market, the supposedly 24hr shop in the lobby for snacks etc., was not open at all during our stay. Missed this a bit as there are no mini-bar offerings in the room.
Check in was easy, room was big, clean, and comfortable. Sauna and gym added lots to the stay. Would recommend to anyone!
Nice hotel in the centre of Toronto . Walkable to shopping and financial district.
I start with the good things. Everyone was friendly and the room was large with a very nice view of the CN tower. The hotel accommodated my request to change from a double bed room to a king size bed room on a upper floor. However, there were many issues with my stay. Good location, metro station 200 mts away. restaurants near by.
Upmarket hotel in the city center within easy walking of St Lawrence Market, restaurants and entertainment. The room was fairly luxurious, with good views of the city and quick access to the hotel’s amenities and dining outlets. The vastness of the hotel made service somewhat impersonal.
Rooms was VERY warm, asked about AC and it was a non issue. I was told I would get a Fan brought up. Waiting till about 230am before calling it. For the price I would definitely just book somewhere newer.
We recently stayed at this hotel as part of a family vacation. This hotel is perfectly located in the heart of Toronto. It is within walking distance of many attractions. Located in the heart of everything. Had the fastest elevators I've ever taken. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean. The buffet breakfast was delicious. The pool is open from 6am -10pm so it was great to go for a swim before breakfast. They stored our items after check out so we could still enjoy the day.
Beautiful hotel and very clean. Friendly service with quick check in. Underground parking with the option for valet service. The location is prime and you can walk anywhere or take transit. The view from our room was spectacular overlooking Lake Ontario, the Rogers stadium and some parks. The pool/spa is lovely. Can’t say enough good things about this place - worth the cost

I love that my room was very clean! Staff is very friendly.
This has been my go-to place to stay in the Toronto core for over a decade, dozens of stays, and never been disappointed.
Perfect location moments from subway, minutes from numerous eating options. Clean well maintained property and rooms, efficient staff.
Price is generally significantly more reasonable than competition.
And they upgraded the in house lounge/restaurant since COVID, it's now spacious...
I’ve stayed at this hotel twice in the past year. Each room I’ve stayed in seems to have paper thin windows / outside walls. You can hear emergency vehicle sirens at all hours of the day / night. I wore ear plugs to sleep and was still woken up by how loud the sirens were in the middle of the night. It’s as if you are outside on the street next to them. I see others mentioned that their rooms had...
The front desk and actually all the staff we encountered during our stay were exceptionally nice and welcoming. We received an upgrade to a corner room with a balcony and a great city view. The room and the hotel in general was fairly clean and offered us the...
This is a great spot for business travelers. O had meetings in the core (downtown) and outside, and it was perfect access to both.

Hotel is convenient, a lot of food shop around the hotel.
The hotel was good but I was sad to see no airport pick-up despite it being a Hilton hotel. Front desk staff were really helpful but the restaurant staff except Rahman were really inefficient in their service. Breakfast had 4 main options and two of them were pork. A very poor option for any Vegetarians and Muslims.
Great location. Only a 5 minutes walk to St Patrick station. Walking distance to Eaton Centre. You get a cookie when checking in.
We had such a lovely weekend at Double Tree Hilton on Chestnut Street in Toronto. Lovely, lovely hotel. The staff were fantastic, so friendly and helpful. Went for a work conference. Very organized and helpful staff. Very clean, modern comfortable rooms. Some people complained that the airplanes landing at the airport (it's directly under the flight path of one of the airport runways) kept them awake at night. I didn't hear it. The rooms come with earplugs to help block the noise.
Nice and comfortable. But i wish room service did not come knock on my door right after 8am. I shouldn't need to hang the do not disturb tab if I'm planning to check out by 9am, but i shouldn't have someone knocking at my door at 8 am either.
Not the best view out the of my room. It looks out on to a very busy road. However, they provide ear plugs. I suppose when you stay at an airport hotel it's to be expected. Otherwise, I enjoyed the stay and had a fairly good meeting experience.

The front desk staff was awesome - super helpful whenever I needed anything. This hotel has everything you might need: bar, restaurant, coffee, pool, hot tub, gym, convenience store, small spa. Very nice, clean, comfortable and many amenities. Nice mall across the street
Excellent customer service! The pool is lovely and has a whirlpool and sauna. There are table tennis, tennis and other activities for fun. There's a small gym. The restaurant inside is good. The room was nice, but the curtains don't close all the way, so it was bright at night and in the morning. The location is great. Overall, really enjoyed our stay.
Very nice, clean, comfortable and many amenities. Nice mall across the street. Access to the subway is at the mall as well, very convenient. Breakfast buffet was a little pricey but very very good. If we had started more than one night we would probably return. Many many options, even for Celiac people! We were stuffed by the time we left.
I loved the amenities like the pool and common areas. My only concern was that some rooms overlook the common areas and it can be very noisy which is to expected. The common areas do close at ten PM so the hotel does enforce quiet hours. The beds in the room were comfortable and staff was pleasant.
