Well appointed room with excellent views (38th floor). Good room service. Bed, chairs, safe, ensuite etc all as expected. Friendly, helpful staff. The central location means that much of downtown Toronto is within easy walking helped by the hotel having a direct link to the city's underground walking network.

A long feedback but addresses a long-stay here! I came here for a longer therapeutic stay before starting my new role & after many years of no vacation. The hotel room was great! The views were good, and getting to where we needed to go was easy because of it’s convenient location. Definitely a hotel people should consider when staying in Toronto. I loved the amenities like the pool and common areas. My only concern was that some rooms overlook the common areas and it can be very noisy which is to expected. From the moment we walked thru the doors I was immediately in love with this place!! From the men at the valet , the amazing front desk workers and every staff we encountered we were treated to the highest standards!! My sister, mother and I had a wonderful time at the Shangri-la. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. The lobby bar is spectacular and they serve a high tea. The pool, hot tub and sauna was so relaxing. We stayed in a king suite which was nicely kept, room service was quick and the food/drink was delicious. I would highly recommend staying here as I will definitely be returning here!!

Rooms could have been cleaner, Bobby pins on floors so I don’t think it was vacuumed. Hot tub was out of order when we went to use it. Disappointed as we were expecting more. They did give us breakfast on the house for the hot tub disappointment and it was pretty good.

Got an upgrade to a 1 bedroom suite on check-in, which was awesome and extremely helpful when travelling with small children. Hotel pool was well used. Free breakfast buffet makes a huge difference to the budget when travelling with a family, and it’s well stocked with lots of choice. Very good location with many diverse restaurants around. Delicious breakfast for the whole family to enjoy every morning. Friendly staff who cater to our needs, and very practical but comfortable rooms. Really nice, clean and convenient to the airport. The restaurant, Turtle Jacks has great food and drinks. Just try to get a room opposite of the air field as it can get loud, due to the planes landing.

It was a good stay I was there for 7 days and the staff was friendly and helpful. I'm not sure what the maids name was but she was very polite and dis a very good job on my room every morning. I stay here on average of 15 days per year and is generally a great place to stay. Also all of the upgrades look great.

Nice hotel close to the airport. The rooms are a good size and the breakfast is ok. I was impressed with the gym, while it's a bit of a walk it's very well lit with new machines.

You can tell they have tried to upgrade from the Travelodge to double tree Hilton. The Reno's have been done cheaply though. Open holes around the fire sprinkler. They "lost" my previous reservation after changing names. The pool was cold and hot tub green. They closed it while we were in the pool

This hotel has just transformed from a Travelodge to a Doubletree by Hilton. It looks and feels great from the welcome warm cookie at check in all the way to the comfy beds and pillows. The rooms are good size and comfy and the bathrooms and full showers function great. Excellent location with the keg on the one side and lots of restaurants all around.

Stayed here several times. The employees are great. All of them. The hotel is very clean and has some higher end finishes. It's a nice place to stay. A bit of a walk to the heart of downtown, but not unreasonable.
