The Yukon Inn, Whitehorse1 / 50

Whitehorse, 4220 4th Avenue 🧭 Map
Recently reno'd rooms provide a clean place to stay. The building is old, so if you are sensitive to people walking around, request a second floor room. Within walking distance to many amenities.
Stayed here when we arrived in Whitehorse in Yukon. The place I found to be very dirty. The room was a bit more clean than the hotel hallways. Had breakfast in the morning in hotel. It was decent. Staff was pleasant. Staff at front desk weren’t very helpful. As we got in late on a Sunday and was looking for dinner. They could help. Found a pizza place that would deliver.
Stayed here based on recommendations from other travelers. Read some reviews and was worried (no AC, too loud all night, etc) but we didn't experience any of that. We had a pet friendly room on the first floor not far from the restaurant /lounge, but we never heard any noise from there or the hallway. AC units were in all the windows, so the review mentioning that must have been old. Service was great...
We visited this restaurant for dinner they staff was friendly and attentive. The Ambience was pleasant and comfortable.
Down town Across the street is McDonald's... Everything is close by Great place to sleep Great service...
Always a consistent, great place to stay. Lots of parking. Great location. Ask for the Yukoner rate if you're local!

They upgraded our room free of charge. Put us in a beautiful place. The owner is an awesome guy. Enjoyed this stay more than ever. Will definitely be back
It was a pleasant stay, friendly atmosphere, large room, very clean, fast check in, I will definitely recommend this place and come back myself. 👍
Very comfortable bedrooms and attached kitchen and living room. In great condition with great amenities. The owners are very attentive and responsive. Would gladly stay again, longer.
Host was very helpful and responsive. Parking for truck and trailer. Easy walking to whole city and away from traffic and foot traffic. Prices were right and very clean room and private bathroom. Shoes are removed at front door which I prefer to keep space very clean. I would recommend this to anyone passing through who wants to make an evening out of the city.
Anson was a great host. He upgraded us to a different room and new location from where we could watch the Northern lights. The place was clean and the kitchen was well equipped. Main locations (restaurants, museums, downtown) were 10-15min walking distance.
This was a great place to stay. Very well kept. Very clean and the owners were top notch. Very reasonably priced and lots to offer. Will be coming back!

The owner was really really nice and it was a perfect place to experience Yukon and northern lights.
What a great decision I made booking this place, it was lovely. My cabin was beautiful, the food delicious, and Sharon made me feel right at home! If you are looking for cabins in Whitehorse from where you can see the northern lights, connect with nature and disconnect from the world, this is the right place!
Wow. What a great stay. Lovely cabin, so clean and tidy. Great hospitality by Sharon, we had such good talks. So peaceful and quiet. And don't forget the foxes that come to visit every night. Stayed for 2 nights and wished for more...
Was a great stay. Little cabin for the 2 of us was perfect. Had coffee, tea, cribage, and a microwave inside the cabin. Breakfast was delicious. We only stayed one night but after our stay I wish it was longer. Will definitely call if we go back to whitehorse. Sharon is a super super nice lady. I would recommend for anyone who is looking for a quiet stay just outside of whitehorse.
Great cabin and incredible hospitality. Cooked us some great food and had a fun conversation at breakfast. Look forward to staying again.
A nice cabin outside Whitehorse. The hostess leaves you an amazing assortment of bites in the fridge, plenty for supper and breakfast including home made jams, teas and rose hip syrup! Comfortable well equipped space.
Edgewater Hotel, Whitehorse1 / 50

Born + Raised Yukoner here. I've stayed at every hotel in Whitehorse aside from the newest and the Westmark is by far my favorite so far. The staff are kind and helpful. The rooms are great, beds are incredibly comfortable. I like that they provide a steamer vs an iron and the bathroom is well lit for self care 💅🏽 Unfortunately if you are someone who works virtually the rooms aren't super soundproof...
I stayed at the Edgewater in late September 2023. This was my second visit to Whitehorse. Check-in was easy. There is no elevator, so you're going to have to carry your luggage up to your room. My room was small but comfortable. There was a TV, bed side radio, microwave and fridge. Place to hang up your clothes; storage beneath there. Friendly staff upon check-in and also the housekeeping staff were...
The 4 stars is because lack of parking. I’m a rural community member and we need parking. The city now having online parking meters helps but, I can’t figure out why the heck they don’t share the parking lot behind them after hours. It’s empty all the time after 4 pm -8 am and, the hotel literally has 5 spots and, if you get one dumb tourist that can’t reverse in there properly, then there’s only ...
What an amazing hotel. Location is great but what totally impressed me was the service and attention to details. Someone even came by my room to make sure all was good. Great job! Also has shared shuttles to the airport. Just ask the front desk to book a spot, and double check again in the morning.
This room was very nice with lots of luxury touches. The hosts were helpful and welcoming. The walls are thin, as is the ceiling so expect to hear other guests. Hotel parking is very limited. The water pressure is atrocious.
Stayed at the hotel for 1 night on Feb 18. The staff was friendly and always replied promptly during the reservation process, and the hotel has a great location near the river, shops and the MacBride Museum. However, I was disappointed by the room. They were modern with good amenities, but rather dull and cold, not reflective of the Yukon's spirit at all. The bed design was especially terrible...there...

Very beautiful home and yard (in the summer months). Close to the river and walking trails. Easy access to downtown. In a quiet cul-de-sac. Great host.
Very accommodating and kind hostess. Home very clean and inviting! The 2 small dogs are cute and friendly (included in pic, how could you not love them??), and there are little gates to block them out where they may not be wanted. Sincerely, loved this stay!
We cannot rate Van Gorda Place B & B highly enough after our 8 night stay. From the minute you arrive Pamela makes you feel at home and makes you feel very welcome and relaxed in this home away from home. Rooms are beautiful, clean, extremely comfortable beds and more than ample breakfast. Stunning walks around the river and up to the Fish Ladder. Not forgetting Pamela allowing our family to take over...

Andrew, Mariana, and Eva are so nice people. We appreciate their kindness and consideration. They welcomed us with warm heart and took us to town and picked us from town a well. Also, they let us know nice place to visit and had a great time together by chatting many things. We loved the story of Andrew and Mariana. The breakfast was delicious and room, dining, everywhere is very clean. The lovely...
Such a cute place, staff was so friendly and since we arrived later in the evening they were sure to write out clear instructions. I love how they ask if you have any food allergies when booking, the room was clean and well kept; felt very homey which I loved. If we ever pass through here again we’ll definitely make a stop. 😊
I found my stay at Hidden Valley B and B to be a bit strange. My room was tiny, smaller than a hotel room would have been. I suspect it was at one point a kids room. I got lucky because at least I had an en-suite bathroom whereas many people have separate bathrooms that they have to go out in the hallway for. As many people have said, the walls are very thin. The breakfast was just ok, it was often...
We spent five days with them. Eva and her staff are very friendly and thoughtful towards everyone. We informed that we'd be arriving at midnight and they prepared everything in advance and let some instructions to welcome us. The breakfast is amazing and its presentation is wonderful. They asked if we had any restrictions with some kind of food. On the last staying day we needed to leave before breakfast...
I've spent more than one night in this lovely place. I really can't recommend it enough. Mel and Eva are wonderful hosts!
This place was awesome. Whitehorse was filled and these guys called me back when they had a cancellation. A real life saver and a wonderful team running the place. Very pet friendly and extremely accommodating. We showed up late and they were very understanding and proceeded to show us our first look at an Aurora Borealis. Amazing meal the next morning. Will visit again!

We spent three wonderful days in Muktuk Adventures with Manuela and Jeff, their staff and their 114 dogs! The stay was very well organised, and each of the activities (dog sledding, wildlife preserve, icefishing and snowbiking) was a true experience in itself. The dog sledding in the forest was especially an amazing moment. Jeff and Manuela are very generous hosts and talking with them and with the...
Muktuk was a very immersive Yukon experience for anyone who wants to experience winter activities in a four days and not have to worry about winter gear , safety equipment , transportation ( did I mention dog sleds , snow mobiles and two good trucks that drive through tough winter conditions and Muktuk are one of the few companies allowed to drive through the wilderness reserve). Although we did not...
I landed on this solo trip just before the season closed and was very glad for the opportunity. Manuela; Jeff; and the team were absolutely superb guides and host. Comfortable accommodations in the lodge and also delicious meals were served. The combination of the activities; northern lights; and dog therapy was very memorable (Still thinking of Gimli btw). I hope to have another opportunity at heading...
Fantastic! I don't know who was better taken care of, the guests or the dogs. We enjoyed snowy adventures, a relaxing lodge full of dogs, and to top it off some tasty home cooking. Thanks Manuela and Jeff for your tireless work and love of dogs!
Amazing place...MUST LOVE DOGS.... terrific hosts, great food and great rooms, clean with a nice rustic feel to them. Went dog sledding, Ice fishing, snowmobiling and we had lots of time to play with the dogs, inside and out. Our guides on all our outdoor activities were terrific and made sure we had a great time. We would highly recommend Muktuk Adventures. Thank you guys
Be ready for adventure! If it's winter, dress warmly. Supportive, helpful and knowledgeable staff. Gorgeous scenery. If you are driving in, don't think you're lost - the road several km long.

The staff was super helpful, very nice, and went above and beyond to ensure we could get to and from the airport & the lodge. Breakfast was really good too!
Stunning place just outside of Whitehorse. The views are immaculate. Rooms are decently sized and clean. There is a kitchen available for guests to make lunch or dinner.
The Kaleido Lodge is a great place to relax just outside of Whitehorse, it is set on a serene hillside with a GORGEOUS view of the valley! this place is more of a B&B. They don’t allow shoes inside the lodge, but there are shelves to leave them on and slippers in the rooms, alone with a bucket of bear spray to remind you how even 20 minutes outside the city, you’re in the Yukon and it’s bear country...
The place was perfect for watching aurora. You can see the sky from inside of room all night. Also, staff were really kind and friendly. A pictures service and campfire was an amazing option. But if you want to go somewhere in the day time, you need to rental a car or using cab.
comfortable atmosphere. We had a comfortable stay thanks to the warm and friendly staff. Breakfast was of course good too. It was nice to be able to see the northern lights from the tipee right in front of the lodge. It is a hotel I would like to visit again if I have the opportunity.
