Quiet clean cold air conditioner nice breakfast .

I have stayed here on 4 different occasions, and intend to stay on every visit in the future. Each and every time the staff was courteous and kind, the room was well maintained and clean, and the stay was as expected...quiet! The breakfast is more than enough, and the price is great. I would highly recommend anyone staying here.

Our April 2023 stay at the Stonecroft Inn was our first. We visit Essex County every 2 months or so and chose the Stonecroft this time as they were offering a better rate than the Comfort Inn across the road that we usually stay at. (Previously, I had been reluctant to stay at an independent hotel, assuming lower standards; I was wrong!) We were very happy with our night here. Our room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast offerings in the morning were plenty to fill our bellies. The front desk staff were welcoming and knowledgeable.

0 stars! We stayed here for the Taylor Swift concert in Detroit and arrived to find our room was not ready upon check in time. It seemed the people in front of us were also waiting for their room. Given the volume of guests we understood the delay and waited 30 minutes. It was noted the staff did not apologize at all for the delay. A day after checking out we were sent a message accusing us of stealing 3 hand towels and 3 bath towels from the room. We were only provided with 2 of each towel type so this is not even possible. We did not move any of our towels out of the bathroom. When we called to dispute we were met with a rude and dismissive manager. Instead of considering the possibility that housekeeping may have made a mistake as they were busy with the high volume of guests we were not given an option of recourse. It is incredibly insulting to accuse someone of stealing and management clearly cannot take accountability for their lack of planning. If you do have to stay here please document everything when you leave.

Love this hotel! The rooms are always clean and have been recently updated. Customer service at the front desk is wonderful, friendly and helpful. My only suggestion would be to install outlets at both bedside lamps in each room as my husband and I like to have our phones next to us at bedtime for our morning alarm. There could also be an outlet installed at each bar so a computer could be set up there as well. Front desk staff accommodate our reservations and always assist us which is why The Stonecroft Inn is now the only hotel we reserve at and recommend when travelling to Windsor! We also like supporting locally owned businesses and this is one of the best! Support local!

Blew my (lack of) expectations out of the water. Rooms were clean, modern, comfortable, and quiet. The shower was fantastic and the place had all amenities you might need (Great hair dryer, coffee maker, ample towels).
Hospitality was incredible - accommodated my super late arrival and made everything so easy and welcoming after a long day of travel. It felt like a bed and breakfast almost in that sense. Speaking of breakfast - I was impressed with the generous options of breads/bagels (toaster + toppings available), coffee, juice, fruit, yogurt. Would highly recommend!

Stayed here for two nights to visit my boyfriend, has all the comforts of a three or four star hotel without the price hikes or confusing size. Rooms were clean, comfortable, and spacious for rooms with 2 beds. Will definitely be staying here when I come down again!

Room was clean with clean sheets and calm decor. Wifi was great as well TV and fridge. Quite a peaceful atmosphere. However, I was not comfortable with coffee maker in the washroom and no microwave in room. It was not convenient having to go downstairs to heat my food in the breakfast area for my four night stay.
