My husband and I loved our stayed at this very unique hotel. The old village is just absolutely stunning. Although it was quite a walk from our room to the breakfast area we did not mind because the view was magnificent. The service was fantastic and even more so the food. The breakfast was amazing, with a lot of variety and very cute cats.
Just one side note: we booked a superior suite which promised glorious Mountain views, however we got Loutraki 1 room and here the balcony was on the street. The pictures were nothing like the ones on the website. That was quite misleading. Luckily they were okay with changing us to room 1 and this room was beautiful.

Before arriving: Excellent communication and suggestions follow up from the staff. Very proactive with parking arrangements and porter services.

Upon arriving: Check in on time and excellent suite. ( We stayed opposite the small church) very clean and neat. Hot, pressurised water at all times. The staff was very attentive and special thanks to Kyriakos for tolerating our wood requests :)

Not the first time visiting and definitely not the last.

very original setting and hotel with rooms spread over the village; we enjoyed the spa as well and also had a massage; all very professional and good.

We had a wonderful time at the hotel.
It is so serene and beautifully restores parts of the town, keeping the buildings character in tact.
Beds were comfortable and the room was very spacious. Common areas were also very well kept with a great breakfast selection.

We did experience some minor problems with our stay. The shower head was loose on the first night and preceded to spray the bathroom (admittedly this was funny). Throughout the stay there was also an odd smell in the room (oniony) coming from the air conditioning. We were convinced it was us for a while but, after staying in another hotel, remembered it wasn’t!

A really beautifully thought-out hotel and spa complex set within the mountain village of Kalopanayiotis.

It was created and is still owned by a local born Cypriot, and this fact is highlighted in how sympathetically the design integrates seamlessly within the old town.

It is a split level facility in that there are the restaurant and spa facilities, including the reception, on the lower level of the town and a lift car takes you up into the top level where there are about a dozen restaurants and cafes including 2 restaurants owned by the hotel itself.

One thing to look at is to make sure you are on the lower level with the spa and reception as having a villa or apartment on the top level of the town is a bit inconvenient, depending on how many times you use the facilities offered at the lower level that is.

The rooms themselves are beautifully appointed suites set into the small cobbled streets and villas of the town. It's really nicely done, and it's easily one of the best examples of this type of integration I have ever seen.

The breakfast offered is well worth it and a must to be honest, and I can see no point in not taking advantage of this if offered.

The spa was very nice with hydro pools and massage suites and plunge pools as is usual for a 5* Mediterranean spa. The only issue I had was the cost as, even for guests, the cost of a 2 hour stay in the spa is €30 and then you have treatments starting at €50 and beyond.

My main issue with this is that other 5* hotels and spas I have stayed in provide the spa free for guests, and you normally only pay for treatments. I understand that the spa is run by a separate company, but it is marketed as a hotel and spa and is located within the hotel itself.

It makes it slightly worse that the only pool outside of the spa is for private use of the most expensive villa that you can rent there. So, if you want a pool to lounge around in, then it will cost you €30 per person, and you only have it for 2 hours at a time! Disappointing.

The overall costs of our 2 suites for 5 people with spa treatments and breakfast were commensurate with the more expensive 5* hotels in Cyprus. Build in costs for the spa and take note of the lack of a pool to avoid disappointment.

One word of advice is not to park the car them carry all your bags back as its a good 5 minutes on cobbled streets. Park the car over the bridge, walk down to the reception, and they will take you down to the car and get your bags with one of the golf carts they have by reception. Same when you check out....in reverse!

Recommended with the caveats above. I took off a star for the lack of an outside pool for guests.

Everything was perfect! The room was big, beautiful and clean . There were mini bar (full with different drinks), coffee machine, kettle and box with tea and coffee capsules, but the best thing for me - iron and desk, so we felt very comfortable. The breakfast was excellent. The staff of all complex are super polite. Thanks a lot for Casale, we would like to come again.

Lovely hotel situated across a picturesque town in a valley. Excellent service and restaurants. The rooms are in various old buildings and very unique
Bathroom could use a little refresher. One thing this place is missing would be a pool, as the amount of activities in the neighborhood is somewhat limited for kids.

This hotel is just something more than just a hotel. We stayed there for 2 nights and it was a lifetime experience!

Pros:

-The staff is always helpful and polite
-There are couple of cute restaurants nearby
-Amazing view, quiet place, fresh air
-Spa is just a dream
-Winery, hiking trails, 11tg century monastery and others cute villages are nearby
-There’s a library in the hotel, where you can work, read or sit with your friends, partner etc

Cons:
-There’s no staff after 12AM, only an emergency contact
-You cannot access spa and swimming pool without booking in advance (at least 2 days)
-Quite pricey (we payed 400€ for 2 nights + ~50€ for dinner, ~40€ per spa)
-Nothing really to do around, it’s a tiny little village.
-The breakfast is poor and nothing really to choose from (especially when you pay so much)
