Reviews
What irked me slightly was the feeling of being an inconvenience rather than a paying guest. I went to check out on the final morning of my stay to be informed my the otherwise monosyllabic gentleman at the counter that I ‘owed him nothing’. This seemed hard to fault as a statement of fact, but it might have been nice had he enquired as to my well being, or indeed whether I’d enjoyed a pleasant stay.
I asked whether I could leave my luggage, whereupon he opened the door to his office and stood by it, watching me struggle to move three bags and a child car seat.
The same thing happened a few hours later on my return. I asked to retrieve my luggage, and a different receptionist (who appeared otherwise unoccupied) nodded towards the door.
‘Don’t worry,’ I said, bent double under my luggage, ‘I don’t need any help’. But the irony seemed lost.
Thankfully I’ve had a better experience of Cypriot hospitality at the other establishments I’ve stayed at since.
Run down
Staff is clueless
Gym has strange safety rules while the interior is falling apart
Pool is closed
All in all, not a good hotel
The only uncomfortable thing is the price , it's really expensive and doesn't work with long staying
Expect not hot water to shower.
You are entering a construction site where you will be awaken at 7 am with drills and hammers. Bring specialized earplugs.
If you are facing the main road, expect no sleep during the night because windows allow all the noise to come in the room. Hotel has saved some bucks in putting very low quality windows.
If by chance hotel didn't put towels in your room, staff will say that hotel is fully booked so tomorrow you can collect towels.
If you show them at online there are plenty of rooms available they will tell you very aggressively to go to reception to collect the towels. They force you to go to reception like a refugee begging to have a towel. If they make fun of you do not take personally because they did to several people.
No hot water at all during 3 nights I stayed in the hotel.
Book a daily gym in another hotel so you can shower properly.
Be prepared to ants attack. Bring a spray.
This building which they call hotel has one iron for all the rooms, so if you want to iron clothes it is better you wake up at 4 am and start queuing in front of the iron room.
If you arrive to the reception and you start melting it is normal, because the hotel turns off the air-conditioning on purpose in the communal areas so people go to the bar to buy drinks.
Once you enter the bar with air-conditioning the staff comes immediately saying that if you do not buy drinks you need to leave to the heat.
This building keeps loud music in the pool area until midnight so they sell more drinks despite many guests want to sleep, but they do not care.
Please check if your room has the door finished of the bathroom, because in my case the door was not complete and you can hurt yourself in wooden parts of not finished door.
If you ever think to go to eat breakfast in the hotel, please visit the kitchen before, so you can take an informed decision.
Bring your curtains, since many rooms have curtains with lots of holes, which allow the light to go through.
When you leave your "rooms" please do not touch any unprotected electrical wire since you can die of electrocution.
Do not try to ask for a refund from the management because they thing you are fool by asking that.
They laugh at you because you were so fool to book this "hotel".
