Before we book a holiday we always look in depth and read lots of reviews on TripAdvisor. On the whole the reviews were good, however I have seen the last few that are very bad ? all I can give is our personal account.... we travelled with our 19-year-old daughter so we all only used the adult pool (it seems the most complaints are coming from families with young children using the larger pool). A very lovely spot but not a lot there apart from a few shops, Boat trips and restaurants. The area is very clean and well maintained. Wheelchair users will manage fine. Great Gelatto shop by the beach where you can park for free and will give you access to very clean public toilets. You must go on a boat trip to the Blue Lagoon where you can swim in cristal clear water, 2 mt. deep.

We loved it here. People were complaining that it wasn’t 4*, the rooms weren’t but the location, food and views totally made up for it. The rooms were cleaned every day, the bed was very comfortable. We had a great holiday.

The place is beautiful and calm. Great looking pool. It is not on the beach, doesnt offer free breakfast, but it is clean and simple to crash for a night on the way. The reception is not 24hrs, so make sure someone will be there if you arrive a bit late. The lady on the desk is welcoming and very nice!

We had to move rooms due to a foul smelling drain blockage. Initially the response offered was to spray room fragrance into the aircon which we were unhappy with, with a small child. To be fair a move to an alternative room was uneventful and the rest of our stay was fine. Really nice place , ten minutes walk to the beach five minutes walk to the kiosk. Clean swimming pools and a nice restaurant. Staff is nice and welcoming ( usual Greek hospitality).

Amazing experience, wonderful staff and extremely comfortable rooms with amazing interior design. Pool is beautiful and always the right temperature + they make amazing hot chocolate for breakfast.

The Hotel is a great place for family vacation. The rooms are suitable for families and have a small kitchen unit. It is clean and with an a/c. Every flat has a balcony, a tv and space to sit. There is a decent size pool and a restaurant with breakfast (muesli, toast, veg and fruit and a selection of hot dishes including eggs and sausage) buffet style. The Wi-Fi is included however does not work reliably...

We have just come after a weeks stay ! We enjoyed every minute! Having a private pool was a treat. The food was delicious and plentiful. Our room was upgraded which we appreciated. The staff were all very helpful. It is an ideal location for a complete rest. We look forward to our next visit😎

The owner welcomes you with a warm smile and ...a pasta flora which is a sweet pastry and jam. Is a lovely, cosy place. You can just stay and relax there or visit the area and the beautiful beaches.

We stayed for a month in September 2021 and absolutely love this place. Stavros is one of the most wonderful people we have ever met. His staff are all lovely and welcoming.Lots of lovely place's to eat in and around Polis. Going back for our 3rd visit in May and can't wait. Pam and Dave Trew

A wonderful family run b&b. The owners were welcoming and looked after us during our stay. The rooms were large and clean. The pool was perfect and for the price we paid this place was a bargain. Yes it is dated but it has character and we loved that.

Warm polite and kind people run this business like music. I have been there more than 8 times allways pleased.

Friendly service run by a family. Rooms are large and clean but are quite outdated, but all facilities are functional. Homemade Briekfast was very tasty. To sum up: everything is worth it's low price tag. Been to worse places that cost much more.

Hotel offers perfect value for money- big, clean room, AC avaliable, clean pool, very nice and helpful service. Big plus for me were friendly cats (not too friendly, if you ignore them they won't bother you).

The Marion is a friendly family owned hotel. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Rooms are large and clean. You will pay extra for air con and breakfast but overall it is still fantastic value for money. It was great to be able to cool down in the pool every day.

Please don’t listen to bad reviews, we still went after reading them and so glad we did and we had an amazing time. A nice familly oriented hotel in Polis area. The view, the large garden, the two swimming pools, the direct access to the sea is just perfect. The rooms are simple but comfortable and sufficiently spacious. The restaurant is quite good, with products from an organic farm. The 4 stars is for location. A great choice if you want some peace and quiet. We stayed in one of the villas. Definitely needed some renovation but its a good value for money deal. Would visit again.

It's hard to admit, but this place does not have any significant downsides (except for, actually, slopes by which you have to travel to get to your room). Houses are small and tidy, they are definitely new, no water leaks or something. The only thing that can be improved is at least some instructions for non-Cypriots: for example, the need to turn on 'hot water' switch and wait for 30-40 minutes until...

Friendly and helpful staff, spacious apartments, a couple of wonderful restaurants in 8 min drive. Though it is not always possible to eat on site which can be a problem if you don't have a car or want to stay in the apartment.

Very lovely place to spend quite and peaceful time. It's set in the mountains but not so high, so rent a car is the best option to get here but it's worth it, the views are amazing. We did have apartment with balcony the rooms are good sizes, full furnished with flat t.v. in living room and aircon in all rooms. A lot lovely places to visit around. Highly recommend!

Very beautiful, historical and traditional place. House and rooms are perfectly reconstructed according to traditional Cypriot building style. The host is very nice and serves great breakfast with homemade marmalade. Drouseia is a cute little mountain village and worth a trip. The female owner is not at all polite. She gave us some ice for our drinks but would not give us any glasses. On check out she said there is no charge for the ice. Seriously, you charge your guests for ice??? There is a very pour buffet which they place food in your plate. A bit like prison food in the movies. Pool was not clean

Super, rush-less hotel in peacefull quiet village. Perfect place to calm down and relax. Swimming pool is rather a big bath tub, but its not most important here. Hotel’s taverna serve super food and wine. Everything local and fresh.

The hotel looks renovated mostly in the common areas. The breakfast was fine with a lot of options.The front rooms on the second floor have very nice views of the gulf and they are very spacious. A beautiful hotel to stay at in Droushia, especially around Christmas as you feel the Xmas spirit with the lovely decor and the cold weather. The best part is the spa, we had a deep tissue massage and it was one of the best we ever had! Excellent spa personnel and receptionists too. We felt so welcomed! We will definitely visit again.

Very well located easy to find.Reception was helpful though not over informative of facilities .Room was a village facing 2nd floor standard room facing over top of reception and car park.downside being woken at 0630 by staff and vehicles making deliveries.Room was very clean not dated though shower was over bath not ideal if you have mobility issues,tea and coffee provided though not replaced and...

The room smelled of mould and was full of bugs. I killed about 20-30 flies when I first walked in. When I informed reception they gave me a wall mounted bug repellent machine and told me there was nothing they could do about it. Didn't offer to change our room, didn't offer a refund, didn't even offer an apology.
