Where to stay in Lachi

Excellent location providing stunning views over the bay from restaurant. Buffet breakfast is good with plenty of choice. Roo.s are a good size however quite basic. No tea or coffee facilities in room or even a drinking glass. Seems there are various deals available. Maybe we picked the wrong one! Staff were very helpful. Pool and poolside areas good. A basic place to stay, no frills and take anything you may need. We've stayed here in all 3 of its forms over the past 12 years. It appears cash strapped right now, which I suspect is putting pressure on staff and facilities. We were quite shocked to find this hotel was not the 4 star our travel agent sold us. No mention that this hotel was nor suitable for disabled people as it is built in a 1/8 hill. We did not expect a four star hotel to have no wifi except in reception no phone like from room to reception. It seems like it has deteriorated over time. It used to be a quite nice place, with a lot of attentive staff. It seems it changed owner/management. The last time we visited it, almost none of the staff was in sight. Pieces of garbage have been lying around the campus for days. Lots of broken items, like railings. Breakfast was average at best. While returning home I decided to stop for a meal. The service was friendly, the fish was fresh and delicious, and the view of the beach is fantastic. Even though I wasn’t staying at the hotel, it was the perfect spot for a relaxing meal!

Our second visit as we enjoyed our holiday so much last year. The room is simple but is spotless, as is the whole hotel. We had a room with a sea view, which we could watch the sunset and boats sail past. George in the restaurant is very welcoming. And the food in the restaurant is very good.

Lovely family run hotel. Arrived late evening a complimentary drink was given on our arrival. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Rooms very clean throughout. Made our holiday enjoyable. Will definitely be returning. Thankyou staff from Souli Beac Hotel for making our holiday perfect.

The Souli is one of my happy places on the island and for most of the year we are here monthly. The location is perfect with stunningly beautiful views across the bay. What a beautiful hotel! Rooms have all you need, with lovely views of the sea (we paid more for sea view room and it was definitely worth it!), the food offered at breakfast was lovely.
