This is a gorgeous hotel in an idyllic location. The spa and pool are lovely and the breakfast is outstanding. This was our second visit (the fact we chose to spend our 30th anniversary here shows how much we enjoyed it last time) and it won’t be our last.

The Strandhaus is situated at the extreme end of Ahrenshoop ( which is allongated around the main road) close to two entrances to the beach at the Ostsee. Wonderful. There are two nuildings. We had a nice room at the top of the main building, with stairs to the entrance and extra stairs to the reception and the breakfastroom. Great atmoshphere, everything was perfect, clean rooms with small complimentary surprise. Absolutely delicious breakfast (high quality products (cheese, ham, salami, tons of local and other salads, spreads etc., fresh and absolutely crispy pastry and bread, vege milks, fruit and sweet bar, hot meals (omellets, scrambled eggs, bratwurst, ham…)… = excellent possibility of choice).

We booked 3 nights in the beach house and had a lovely time. We did not regret the upgrade. We loved the decor of the room. It was clean and nice. We were able to pull out the small sofa and pull the pleated blinds so we had the best view of the Baltic Sea, the sky and everything around despite the bad weather. We were delighted with the breakfast and the choice and variety of drinks made us happy...

I have visited this beautiful hotel several times. Always completely satisfied! A bit pricey, but for the location right by the sea, the very tasty breakfast and the good service, I think it is worth it. Excellent recommendations from my side!

We have been coming to the Kühl-Müller family and team for many years and enjoy the wonderful location facing the Baltic Sea. Everything is just right here. The breakfast is unsurpassed and well implemented even in Corona times.

The room I got was a little worn out, very old and small TV, carpet fixed with tape. Friendly staff, nice spa area, small gym & nice view.

Great staff, a huge family room and close to the Baltic sea. We enjoyed an amazing family vacation, the kids received a little toy bear and for my birthday I found a bottle of sparkling wine on the room. An pleasurable stay. Excellent choices for breakfast incl. custom made Omelette and waffles.

love the Bauhaus design. There is an indoor Basketball court in the hotel 😱 the sauna was great, the beds are comfortable. The rooms are spacious. The hotel‘s location close to the beach is very nice. The all you can eat dinner was good.

Good location (5 min to the sea), clean and calm beach, friwndly stuff. However overall its boring for young couples or groups. Best suited for elderly people and families with small kids. We couldn't find good food there (best to go on a car/bike to explore restaurants outside the hotel). The beach bar has tiny menu and closes at 6pm which is awful. After 8-9pm no chance to find good around.

Large but modern and friendly hotel well located in the woods very close to the sea (close enough for prebreakfast swim).

Nice Hotel in great surroundings.

No actual double bed, rather twin beds pushed together. Breakfast was really good, but no hot chocolate. The evening meal was a buffet- the salad was really good, but the hot dishes were just warm. The dessert was the same each evening. Sport facilities were good and the swimming pool and sauna clean. Bike hire at the hotel was value for money. Some staff were very helpful others seemed over worked

The heated pool with lots of Jacuzzi features was a big hit with our little kids. They preferred it over the actual sea! Bike rental company on site.

Beautiful hotel located on the edge of the town and forest. The outdoor area is very nice with a swimming pool. The meals are served in a separate, beautifully designed house. The rooms are modern and practically furnished. All the staff were friendly. The car park is right next to the hotel. There is also a bike rental at the hotel.

A pension that we did not expect. The room a stunner with a balcony, view of the bay. Breakfast perfectly adequate for us, no frills. If you like, every adult guest gets a glass of sparkling wine. The boss welcomes you as a good friend you see again. The lady at breakfast is very friendly but not pushy.

We've been on a short vacation here 5-6 times now on our favorite vacation. In 2023, it was way too expensive. Separation in the price breakfast. 04.11.24.Price OK - But with an expensive breakfast you can't even take 2 rolls with you on the trip...but still we'll be back!(for summer!!Fly screen)!!!

Great location, short walk to the sea. The room is nothing g special but it has everything g you need. We ran out of towels pretty quickly and the reception closes rather early which is unfortunate. There were also an amazing number of flea and mosquitoes in our room. It looked like a killing field when we left and it was obvious previous guests had the same problem with the number of dead bugs on...

Close to the sea Spent two nights. No staff at the hotel in the evening. Very bad wifi, and got no explenation why, and they didn't improve the situation. Parking at the site and short walk to to the beach.

Great, cozy hotel in a very quiet, very beautiful location. The reception was impersonal over an intercom, but a friendly and calm voice. Corona measures were not noticeable here. I was missing a room in which guests (different rooms) could sit together. I find the hallway unsuitable. Except for small areas, everything is clean and well-kept. Doors have to be checked again after "closing", our room...

I can't judge the hotel apart from the optimal location - right on the beautiful beach. However, we ate in the cozy restaurant there two days in a row: very tasty, good selection, reasonable portions, not too expensive and extremely friendly waitresses 😊

Great very clean hotel, great food, great staff. The only sticking point: Some of the restaurant staff should learn that even if you don't fit into the overall picture of the regular guests, you are still a paying restaurant visitor!!! Even artificial friendliness doesn't help.

I can only say good things about this hotel. The hotel is in a great location! Just over the dune, then you are already on the beach. The bike path is also right by the house. The staff is very friendly. Whether bike rental or checking in, everything is straightforward. But I found the breakfast menu to be the best. So, if you still complain, you can no longer help!

The restaurant in the hotel is very nicely decorated! The boss greeted us very nicely and offered us a table even without a reservation, although it was fully reserved! The food was delicious and the portion was enough! The price characteristics are completely ok!

Very nice hotel. We received a very friendly welcome, and our dog was very welcome. All the staff were very friendly. The location was almost directly on the beach. Restaurants and cafes in the immediate vicinity. Apartment was very clean and well furnished. Breakfast very good. The only thing we didn't like was that it was sometimes a bit noisy because our bedroom was next to a fish snack bar

Die Strandnähe und Lage am Küstenwald mit Nähe zum Rhododendronpark hat mir sehr gut gefallen. Das reichhaltige Frühstücksbuffet bietet auch Spezialitäten aus hauseigener Küche wie z. B. Brombeer- Thymian- Marmelade oder Pina Colada Quark.

We were in Zingst to celebrate a birthday. The location of the hotel was ideal. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The breakfast buffet was plentiful. Due to the design, the lobby is a large hall into which an attempt has been made to incorporate some charm. The wellness area is spacious and not overcrowded even at peak times.

My main issues staying in this Hotel is just bed , I mean the Bed moving constantly all the time . If you stay hier with your love one and like to cuddle forget it , the bed will separate you all the time 😂 but other than that it's nice hotel

Very friendly staff, extremely varied breakfast in the historic Wappensaal and the food in the restaurant is also delicious. The location of the hotel in the center means that there are many ways to walk. Our room and bathroom were equipped with everything that is needed. Typical 4 star hotel. Great importance is attached to hygiene. Everything was very clean and the food was very sufficient and tasty. The bar also fulfills every wish (also special requests ;-)) Family-run, which you can tell from the perfect service. It is not far to the beach and the Netto supermarket is also nearby. In the hotel you can also eat great burgers, which are advertised all over the place...

This is our first time at this hotel and we were very surprised at the friendliness of all the staff. You don't always have this experience. Nice little hotel. Top service, friendly, helpful and courteous. Good transport links in all directions. Breakfast is very good, something for everyone. 100% positive rating. The mattresses should be improved. We stayed here for 3 nights and felt very comfortable. Afterwards we were in the best holiday mood and went on the Aidamar towards Denmark-Norway-Sweden. We recommend.

Perfect for a short stay. The beach can be reached in 5 minutes and the bus stop (to get to Warnemünde) is right in front of the door. Small and very clean hotel, with very friendly staff. Unfortunately there is no elevator. The rooms are functional and modern, some flaws in terms of the bed... In warm weather too thick blankets drawn in, the bed frame for small people not cheap. Unfortunately no fridge...

Two of us stayed here for two nights. We have been here before. Unfortunately, we were not allowed to enjoy the delicious breakfast this time because of the corona pandemic. That was always the highlight of the stay. Maybe we can offer breakfast for the room in the future? Doesn't have to be huge. default halt; Rolls, sausage, cheese, jam, eggs, cup of coffee and tea...?! Would be worth a thought....

Overall it was pretty good for the price. The furnishing has already seen the ravages of time, in the bathroom, for example, the sink was cracked and the heating rusted. The balcony needs to be maintained because the swallows nest there and it looks accordingly.

Super location and from the two large apartments at the Alter Strom you have a magnificent view of the harbor and the passing ships. Breakfast overall okay for a 3 star hotel and thanks to the view/location it gets 5 stars.
