The rooms are partly rustic but clean and very welcoming. Ideal and practical for a one-night stay to start our hikes.
We stayed at the Forsthaus with our dog over the weekend. We're not demanding, so we arrived with absolutely no expectations.
First of all, the parking lot is right in front of the house and very well maintained. Our key was left by the door, as agreed.
The room was sufficiently large, with a separate toilet. The shower is integrated into the room. It takes some getting used to, but it's fine. The sink is right in the room. In short, no bathroom. That was very unusual for us. You have to like it.
The beds were super comfortable, the adjustable mattresses are cool, but I would have preferred a bathroom. ;)
The terrace by the room is okay. You basically share it with the other vacationers. The view, especially in autumn, was really beautiful.
The hotel's location is truly perfect for exploring the area.
Breakfast is served to your table. We thought it was really good. Organic, really plentiful, and delicious. Our dog was allowed to come along, and for that alone, we give it 5 stars!
The only negative thing, and I'll be honest about this, is that the room was barely clean. The toilet was only marginally clean. The mirrored cabinet by the sink wasn't clean either. There were cobwebs in the corners. I think this needs to be addressed. It's important to me personally. That's why I have to deduct two stars.
