The Weiß family fulfilled all of our wishes in advance. Then we had to cancel our stay at short notice due to illness. It was such a pleasure that we still didn't have to pay a cancellation fee - when in fact the entire amount would have been due. Conclusion: We are already looking forward to the next opportunity when we can drive to the Harz - we will definitely come to the organic hotel "Zum Forsthaus"!

The room was well equipped and had access to the balcony. It was also great to get drinks from the fridge in the lounge for a fee. The division of the shower and the toilet is not successful. Shower is directly in the room and toilet in a small room. Anyone traveling with a dog must note that it costs extra, although this was not stated in the price to be paid. It said in the text that pets are welcome and there are no additional costs. It is then not possible that you have to pay for it on site.

Perfect as a hiker for the Hexenstieg. Rooms are neat and clean. The breakfast is varied and plentiful. A little further down there is a pub with a good selection of beers.

My wife and I have visited twice in a very short space of time. The first time a long weekend and the second a week. We really enjoyed it. Right on the Hexenstieg and other hiking trails. Very centrally located to explore the Harz Mountains. Brocken can be reached quickly, equal to the two golf courses. Bad Harzburg fast 30 minutes with a slow drive. Rooms super clean. Good breakfast served at the table. Extra wishes are gladly fulfilled. The dinner tasted really good. And, for us, immensely important. The owner Mr. Weiß is incredibly friendly and helpful and gives you good information for a successful stay in the Harz Mountains. Our shepherd shepherd was welcome. shortly about. It was fun and we'll be back. By the way. You can sleep super well. Great beds. Excellent mattresses. And absolute calm.
