The hotel was centrally located to allow us to drive to Seiffen - about 10 minutes away. The room was very comfortable and the views from the top floor of the castle were excellent

Schloss Purschenstein has an excellent restaurant, with delicious food and generous portions, and a maitre d with a warm and jovial personality

Now the restaurant is underwhelming at best. Beautiful place but the service is terrible

The check in was speedy and helpful, the room was warm and spacious - the bathroom was enormous with a good shower and a hot towel rail

We got the best room in the castle the suite and the room was big and beautiful. They have a sauna and pool then the big hall room where you have breakfast. Some of the staff was not friendly but the place was amazing

The barrel vaulted cellar of the main tower has been converted to a small swimming pool with outside sun terrace (or snow terrace in winter) and there is a sauna and a steam bath as well, although the steam bath was out of service when we stayed

A small, cozy hotel in the best location of Seiffen. Our room was very clean, quiet and well equipped. The mattresses on the beds are fantastic, we slept very well

The breakfast was varied and freshly prepared, and the dinner on request was very tasty. Highly recommend the Rechenberger Pils on tap. The owners are very nice, open-minded people and very accommodating

Of course there are a few small things here and there that are getting old or in need of repair, but this has little or no effect on the comfort and feel-good factor and, given that the focus is now naturally on the newly furnished hotel, it is understandable and is justifiable

We wish the hotel team good luck and success at the new location and maybe we'll take a look at the new hotel next time we're in Dresden

Very nice country hotel, in a quiet cul-de-SAC. Beautiful views over meadows and the cows from the large terrace. Clean, cozy rooms, comfortable beds, friendly staff and a very good Breakfast buffet

Great small family hotel with a panoramic view of Dresden. Unfortunately only until the end of 2018. Then the company will expand and, at first glance, in a not so quiet, rural and romantic area in Bannewitz

Doesn't matter for now, though, in terms of the current rating. The hotel has cozy rooms with cozy furnishings. The furniture is hand-carved (four-poster beds and side cabinets) and the rest is passable too

Really nice and quiet here. A bit remote. The staff is friendly and helpful. Our wedding guests with 2 small children, for whom I booked the room, were super excited. Top price performance!

All staff were very nice and accommodating. The meal was excellent. We had booked the cottage for us 4. It was extremely comfortable and there is everything that you need. We can absolutely recommend and come again.

Friendly staff. Room service takes care of clean rooms. Rooms are not big but big enough. The hotel is generally very clean and well maintained.

We stayed 4 nights on the Womostellplatz. The parking space is still easy to walk and drive on even when it rains because it has gravel gases

Everything was good except breakfest. The rooms are big and clean. There is a car parking place near the hotel. The reception working longer and you can check in later. But the range of the food is very poor 😔

Enough performance because this hotel hot and the hotel don't have climate. Only rooms has a fan. You should be wake up early because when school opened child volume you wake up. Dinner drink and breakfast is good

I have a gluten-free diet, and for breakfast they baked a fresh gluten-free bread for me - it was absolutely amazing. We stayed with a family and booked two rooms

On the ground floor of the hotel, there's an Italian restaurant. In case you are tired or lazy you can eat there, which was good. The problem with rooms was they were not sound proof

I was on the top floor on the corner so had to contend with some interesting shaped ceilings - for the most part the space was well utilised, but in order to shower I had to squat the whole time which wasn't pleasant and wouldn't be possible for older people (I'm about average height for reference)

We greatly enjoyed staying at this hotel. Breakfast had a nice variety of options and staff were attentive in clearing tables and asking patrons if they needed additional drinks. The rooms were clean and a nice size

For a three star University Guesthouse this is excellent. The rooms are spacious, clean (there is cleaning service every day), the bathroom is good with a good shower

There is a fridge in the room (no minibar), a very good desk so you can work comfortably, the beds (twin) provide good sleep. The roll-down mosquito nets are a bonus

Breakfast is rather pricey but good, reasonable selection and you can ask for a good espresso coffee. Location is good with easy access to tram and bus services

Room is big and clean, recent bathroom fixture update, hair dryer is available. Location is very strategic, within 5 minute walk to lidl and netto, as well as around 5 min walk to tram at strehlener platz

Added bonus is it was very affordable! Within walking distance to a nice little bakery that shares a building with a Lidl grocery store. This hotel would be good for longer stays too

We have family close by. The staff tries their best and rooms are clean. Rooms are a bit small and other guests were a bit loud sometimes but I'd still come again

The hotel is a good hotel. Cozy room, comfortable beds, kettle... But the Breakfast does not hold water: rotten eggs, sour soup. The staff was in no hurry to carry the missing devices and politeness did not differ.

The room was clean and refurnished, although we didn’t have fridge neither safety box in our room. But the quality was good. It was in center. For breakfast there was a line for coffee as it was crowded.

We stayed here for one night in a lovely family room. The room was clean, and we slept well. Parking was available on the hotel grounds and several more outside.

The hotel restaurant is very popular with the locals and almost all tables are occupied at dinner time. However, dishes are served only until 10:00

I chose this because I wanted more of a traditional stay. The reception / bar is decorated in dark woods, but the room was very modern. The furniture looks like IKEA style and wasn't all that comfortable

Earlier there was a related Restaurant on the other side of the road (Golden Prague), which was good. The Greek, who is now in there is rather poor and not recommended

The Hotel is located within walking distance of the line 4, which is a 15min to the old town promoted. Overall a very good Hotel in a quiet location!

The hotel is not near Dresden train station which is about 15 minutes walk to the hotel. It was not convenient to take the train to other city. Luckily, there is a bus going to the old town conveniently
