Nice Italian Restaurant (Manager Agelo Antoniolli) with superior food and good wine sortiment. Better to reservate a table before visiting to be save. Next the restaurant you have a very good Hotel with Rooms with banion in the bathroom. And you look at the small see of Altenburg.

Reasonable place with a Italian kitchen. The room are clean and well furnished. The hotel nicely located along a small lake running through the town and walking distance to the town square. The only short coming is the wifi connection in the room. Have almost zero connection in the room. But as long u walk out to the open place like the lobby it is OK.

Sufficient free parking spaces directly in front of the door. Extremely friendly reception and a huge room with a large desk and a sofa. Everything perfect for working and relaxing. Very tasty breakfast with homemade jam, one of which was even given as a farewell gift. This hotel is a clear recommendation at an extremely fair price.

A very nice pension. The decor is tasteful, old-fashioned. That is what makes the pension so special and unique. The rooms have names of nobles. Altenburg Castle is nearby. A hidden Gem! This great hotel was recently renovated or rebuilt and is centrally located with great access to the inner city pedestrian area. We had a modern room with garage parking and elevator access and could walk to all the central attractions. The hotel staff was very attentive and made our stay with two little children very comfortable and enjoyable.

We stayed in the older house. Very clean and well maintained. Breakfast very plentiful, lovingly and great made. Wishes are fulfilled immediately (extra water & egg)

This hotel seems to be driven with passion. The rooms are nice, modern and clean, and this also goes for the breakfast room and other areas. We had a room in the main building. Prices are relatively low. The breakfast is really delicious and served with care.

This was my second time as a guest, but due to the disappointment this time it will definitely be the last time. If you are dependent on a socket directly by the bed, you should clarify this at the beginning. However, upon request I was helped with an extension cord. The billing, the check-out was a disaster (but it was not due to the staff present). Breakfast is okay despite everything.

This is a very unique Italian restaurant with a wonderful atmosphere. The owners are wonderful people to begin with, that gave that place a lot of charm. The food is a lavish travel through the Italian cuisine and the quality is perfect. Did I mention that they have a great selection of vines and that you need to try their espresso, after all? Nice Hotel, i wanted to visit August Horch Museum, so the Hotel was not far from museum. Hotel has a restaurant and parking area. In weekends there could be free space. Near is also Lidl grocery store. Rooms are good, service nice.

Quiet, dated hotel that could use a refresh. We didn't eat there, I think because of the due to the low occupancy the kitchen was closed. We saw not even one other guest during our 2-night stay, only one helpful gentleman at reception when we arrived and departed. Our room was small but clean and the bed was very comfortable. I am currently in Zwickau for professional reasons and have booked the hotel. I'm mostly satisfied. The single room serves its purpose, it's clean, warm. The breakfast is good too. Except the coffee. A "pot" is included in the price, the second pot costs money. Unfortunately, that's a pity because a pot is just a "normal" cup of coffee.

Very nice traditional hotel from 1912 with the wood paneled charm of the 1920s. Everything is clean and pleasant there, the people there are friendly and helpful. A different world from the usual hotel chain monotony. After all, anyone who always wants everything new is yesterday. We've been coming here for 20 years and it will stay that way. It is a very simple hotel with a the basic needs that you want. And the owners are very nice and helpful. When I asked them for directions they gave me a map of the town and explained what buses and trains I should take.

I stayed here whilst on business in Zickau. The staff here are all friendly. The check in and out was quick and efficient. The room was clean and there was plenty of options for breakfast. The location is just a few minutes walk from the main restaurant area and also the park.

4 stars mainly based on price and value. As a 4 Star hotel it means you get the privilege to pay for Internet $10, parking $7, breakfast $11, and sauna. The room has ac, but it doesn't work well in either of our two rooms. Even cool outside it couldn't cool our rooms after 2 hours. Eventually gave up and opened windows, but fair amount of noise from the street and bugs because no screens on Windows...

Nice well located hotel with friendly staff. We were there for 1 night in transit. Hotel does need some updates. Bathroom faucets didn't work as they should. Carpet in the room was worn. TV quality could also be better. But especially sauna and fitness could not be used. In other hotels, this is now possible after the pandemic. Could be better!

3-3.5 stars would be fair. The room was rather large and the bathroom/shower were decent. The bed wasn’t very comfortable, but not bad for a 1-2 night stay. The AC wasn’t working properly. Thankfully I stayed there in the fall, so it didn’t get too warm. The staff members were all rather pleasant.
