Where to stay in Altotting

A 5 day stay. Essentials provided. Shower too small. Poor lighting. Desperately poor internet service. Excellent location to city center. Superb kitchen! Service was friendly!

When I looked around to find a place I passed this , at the end the price got my attention. I do not regret taking it . The service was great. Room is just lot of great things, bathroom was nice clean and big . Room very clean, bed was very comfortable. Should have some explaining about WiFi .

This is a pretty awesome find. The hotel like many is a bit dated. But it adds to the charm of an old town setting. The rooms are so fun. They have great themes and amenities in the rooms. Need a jacuzzi, they have it, how a steam room, I just finished mine. It's fun, you're going to love it.

The staff are genuinely friendly and accommodating. The infra red sauna in my room had a very high top temperature, excellent. The bed was high quality. I slept much better than i normally do. And it was extra convenient to be able to use their electric vehicle charging station. I found myself wishing that i could stay for longer

The boss received us personally, we were in this hotel for the monastery market in September 2021. Got the wedding room, a very large, spacious one; the hotel is very clean and well maintained. The breakfast buffet a highlight. Highly recommended! !!! The restaurant was closed at the time.

Get a beautiful room with a bay window and 5 windows. Comfortable beds. Bicycles could be parked worn out. The young man at the front desk was a bit "annoyed" and expressed this verbally - a shame.

Very good staff, breakfast was ok and interior of hotel is nice. The problem is with bed and pillows. It is so soft that almost you can't go up from there. I woke up with huge pain in my neck. And there is no sleepers in the room.....

I had the suite under the roof in spring 2020 and was very satisfied. Jacuzzi and sauna, comfortable bed, clean and cozy but not old-fashioned. The entire staff is very friendly. Exemplary implementation of the Corona requirements. If you arrive late for breakfast, the rolls are a bit dry, but this is compensated for by enough alternatives. Will come again on occasion!

The hotel is quite comfortable, the price level fits. The different room types that are available are very nice. The breakfast buffet offers a good selection of cold cuts, bacon, scrambled eggs, fruit etc. The staff are very friendly.

We stopped at this hotel/restaurant today for lunch during our youth vocational pilgrimage with a group of 54. From start to finish, the experience was wonderful. The staff were incredibly accommodating, friendly, and efficient. The food was absolutely delicious—everyone left satisfied! Flew in from Texas specifically to see the pilgrimage churches and Christmas market in Altotting. Two nights at Munchner Hoff right on the square. Very nice room, and friendly and helpful staff! Breakfast in the restaurant was very good. Will be back.

Spent 2 nights here and found it to be a very pleasant experience. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room is quite standard, nothing special. Is has most things that you need. Cleanliness is not top of the list. Breakfast wasn't too bad. You have a good choice.

very friendly staff, good bourgeois ambiance, always clean. Frequently changing menu, a good Mix of fancy, down-to-earth, regional and seasonal dishes, always prepared, and if something is not perfect is the staff responds immediately and directly to complaints. In my opinion the best home-style Restaurant in a large radius. Recommendation for the onion roast and especially the game dishes.

There was everything there for a good start into the day. So everything was great for me.

Nice hotel not very near Munich

Great place to stay with great enmities. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and we'll equipped. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was great with a great choice. The sauna was well equipped and very clean. I had a very enjoyable two night stay. I definitely recommend this if you are in Burghausen.

Very good hotel in the center of the town. Rooms and furniture are not ultra new but pretty good. Lot of free parking near the hotel as well as paid parking in their garage. Breakfast is decent. Very good internet connection as compared to other hotels in the town. Close to many restaurants. I always stay here when in Burgahusen and the staff is very friendly and helpful.

I almost always stay here on my business trips to BGH. It is a great hotel with reliable wifi.

Placed in a very good position:parking,shops,coffee shops,supermarket very close.Clean rooms,a very good breakfast and really kind and helpful receptionist.Some noise from time to time but not unacceptable.All in all I would recommend it to others in need of an acceptable place to lodge for some time.

This hotel is run by a Turkish uncle who is very welcoming, but I have to say that the hotel facilities are rather old, the corridors are very dark, and the door locks are not electronic. Opposite the room I stayed was a platform that opened onto another building. I didn't dare sleep with it on at night and there was no air conditioning in the room.

The rooms are nice, and the breakfast is also good. What disturbs me (and others) is the poor looking and operating elevator, the entrance area and the corridors.

First the positive: The breakfast buffet was rich and appealing with very nice service staff. There was a super great pizzeria and gelateria, which were on the ground floor of the hotel. We had a great evening there and the pizzas were just perfect and authentically Italian.
 The negative side: 
We booked three rooms. The rooms would actually be modern and nice. But no matter where you look: NOTHING...

Good hotel with excellent location, friendly personnel, delicious breakfast. One point was reduced due to a very strange mattress and pillow. The mattress was like a hammock...and it was strange to see that there was no first aid ⛑️ box at the reception when someone asked for a plaster. But as said, the service was very friendly. Did not have a chance to check the spa area, but next time, for sure

Good solid hotel. Courteous staff. Honeycombs available for breakfast. Could have a bit more milk and yoghurt options for the lactose intolerant. Or at least label your yoghurt selection. Not a fancy place but nothing to complain about. Here for just an overnight stay. Dunno about the price.

Nice and calm place to stay overnight. However, it is a bit off the village centre, which which visitors may want to take into consideration. Nice garden restaurant and spacious rooms.

Lovely hotel in a very nice city

Overall, an “ok” stay- Our hotel room had carpeted floors, which felt unclean and there were wrappers under the bed that hadn’t been vacuumed. The bathroom was clean and the room service was good. We traveled with a small child in a travel crib and both mornings upon wakening we noticed she had been bit overnight on her arms and face- even when we slept with the windows closed! We never saw any bugs...

The hotel is OK. Rooms are spacious (even the single). The pool and sauna are good, however the restaurant is trying a bit too hard to be fabulous. The quality of the dishes is fair, the size and combination of flavours could be improved upon.

A nice place for a short stay. The hotel is an bit oldschool but the rooms are modern and well equipped. The staff didn't speak English so prepare a dictionary. Overall very positive: nice, calm and clean. Very good breakfast.

I think the hotel staff are not used to foreign guests. Mistakes were made on getting my reservation right - saying I had booked for two nights when it was three. The reservation confirmation was confusing because I check out on Tuesday but the billing and breakfast inclusion was only up to the Monday. I received the wrong bill at the Bavarian restaurant. I was advised the Derby restaurant was open...

We spontaneously decided to spend a night at Gut Ising and we didn't regret it. A sundowner on the terrace of the Il Cavallo restaurant, then a quick dip in the swimming pool and later in the evening we ate at the Goldener Pflug. In the morning we enjoyed breakfast on the terrace. I rarely write reviews, but this is appropriate. The food was excellent and reasonably priced, really not too expensive...

Not far from Munich you will find a beautiful hotel with a golf course, riding school and wellness! The rooms are large, it is quiet and very well maintained. The hotel is family run. Not the most modern, but everything is well maintained and clean. The family maintains a lovable, typically Lower Bavarian hospitality. I felt very comfortable and was definitely not there for the last time.

Great place for your stay in Bad Birnbach. Beautiful yoga room on the top floor available to guests outside of scheduled classes with a spectacular view. Overall, very environmentally conscious, good breakfast and close proximity to the Hot Springs, easily walking distance. Underground parking is available if needed. Great value!

I can only recommend the hotel. Friendly service in the hotel and restaurant. A very good breakfast is offered. The food in the Roter Löwe restaurant is also very good and plentiful. We had a suite with a lot of space. The room was clean. I rarely give 5 stars. The services of the hotel should not be devalued.

We were there two nights. Everything was perfect for the thermal spa holiday. The rooms have a pleasant atmosphere, the staff is very personable and the breakfast also has something for everyone. Due to the great location with only about 5 minutes walk from the Rottalterme and the attractive offers really recommendable. We will definitely come back next year.

Short way to thermal baths. Good Greek inn is almost integrated. The Sonnenhof offers cheap rooms with breakfast including cake and coffee in the afternoon. This service was offered to us and used on the day of arrival. Extremely friendly and helpful staff.

Hotel is in a great location, extremely clean and staff very friendly. The bathrooms are recently remodeled however very small. It's good value for money, however they need to invest in higher quality mattresses.

The location near the thermal baths is ideal. I was accommodated in the neighboring house. The room was small and clean. The bed was very comfortable. Unfortunately, the breakfast buffet didn't convince me. The coffee was a bit weak and the goods on display didn't always seem fresh to me. Otherwise very nice service.

Have vacationed there, it is the only hotel for a long time where we got fresh rolls in the morning and not the baked ones from the big market. The whole staff is super friendly and helpful. The only thing that bothered us is that the rooms and the dining room are too warm. There is really no air conditioning there. Otherwise we liked it very much and that for a three star hotel. Great
