Hotel Post

It follows the unwritten rule of the German hotels: overrated, expensive and old.
The room was clean, but the furniture old and scratched. The mirror was black - the silver layer was gone. Mold in the bathroom. 20 years old (at least!) Sofa in the room.
The cheese at the breakfast was not fresh.

Disappointing -
on a Saturday evening, we visited the attached to the Hotel Restaurant to eat something. We had great expectations, which were not completely fulfilled. The Hotel and Restaurant has a very good reputation in Burghausen and is located in the heart of the historic old town. The Service in the Restaurants was not bad and for a Hotel and Restaurant with this "price level" is acceptable. There are two controls were the order of the evening at the beginning. The drinks were quickly absorbed by the operation. For the food order we had to wait almost 30 minutes until the, for the order, the responsible operation came to the table. In the meantime, you went past several times on the table - so even with other guests. Eventually, as the food was served, came the next Surprise. The food, from me to my companion and me, were treated to almost 20 minutes. My companion was so with the meal almost finished, when I got my order on the table. The quality of the food: The dish an accompaniment Turkey steak was lukewarm and almost cold served. In terms of taste it could not convince. In my judgment there was nothing wrong.
CONCLUSION:
For a Restaurant of this price level, and this "address" can be expected to be more Service, quality, and professionalism of staff, and a kitchen. Who has enough time and good nerves will feel comfortable. However, the food selection and quality like well game. A Tip, the Restaurant is certainly not worth it.
