We booked a three-night stay at Hotel Dalberg, which is located in the centre of Aschaffenburg, within walking distance of the railway station. Our Deluxe Double Room (qualified as ‘Business Double’ in another document) was located on the second floor facing the quiet Pfaffengasse and offered a view of a rather awful contemporary building across the street. Booked a single economy room. It was small, old fashioned, but spotlessly clean and very quiet and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and competent. Breakfast was also great. Recommended.

Great location. Just opposite a large shopping centre and close to the old town. The let down here were the rooms which are old, too simple, but clean. In fact, I have stayed in hostels with better rooms. The bathroom itself was okay. We were told that the hotel will get renovated within the next few months. Staff in general was nice.

Absolutely great budget option to stay. Location, viewed l clean rooms with bath tub, what was really great - it is quiet, no noise from street even with open windows. Breakfast is good too. Very attentive personnel.

When we arrived at the hotel we were met with a receptionist with a bad attitude. We were sent - not once but twice - to dirty rooms that hadn’t been cleaned after the last guest had left and the guy didn’t even apologize for the inconvinience. The (third) room was nice and staff the next morning was more welcoming.

Overall an excellent price ratio. Hotel is loacted in the middle of the town. Hotel parking slots are there (cost extra). The rooms have been clean and ok. The staff was very friendly which is a plus. Overall for me good to stay for business.

It was okay for a one-night stay for four people, but I wouldn't have wanted to stay longer. Breakfast isn't recommended, but the rooms are clean.

A pleasant stay. Everything is provided and it's very clean and tidy. The beds and pillows are wonderful. The bathroom is also fully equipped. Nice towels. Breakfast was perfect. The entire building is well heated. Highly recommended 👌

No cleaning or towel service on all three days. The elevator was out of service. No toilet paper on the third day. Breakfast was plentiful and good. Unfortunately, all the egg dishes were served without a chafing dish, so they were somewhere between lukewarm and cold!

Great place to stay and not too far to walk to the pubs near the old bishop's castle. Had a great time in aschaffenburg and made friends with some locals who had so many interesting stories about the history of this area.

Internet failed for me several times in my whole stay. Aside from that, is really cozy and centric to know Aschaffenburg. Really reccomend it.

Great pub for bicycle riders. We were lucky and had an upstairs room 3rd floor, exiting onto a rear patio, we were entertained by some goats next door. All very quiet and peaceful, the front ground floor may suffer from traffic noise. Busy breakfast, a lot of people made keeping up the buffet difficult, but it worked. Safe bike parking, quick access to the cycle path. Clean, small rooms.

A hotel with a long tradition in a large half-timbered house, which is located in the immediate vicinity of Aschaffenburg's old town. The location of the hotel is central and therefore unfortunately noisy due to car traffic. But ok with the windows closed. The rooms are simply furnished, absolutely great for the price, very clean. Staff could be friendlier, but ok. Large garage for bicycles, but unfortunately there is no possibility to lock the bicycle in, the garage is open until 11 p.m.... Breakfast offers hardly any vegan selection...

The hotel and the premises are very easily accessible. The breakfast was very rich and tasted good. The rooms are okay and completely sufficient for one night. The best thing about the hotel is the service, which was provided after I forgot my cell phone charger and it was sent to me free of charge and immediately. This hotel is located 300m from the train station!You can find in this street straight on to the hotel a lot of shops with different nationalities: turkish, german,italian, spanish, indian...so that is an example how in Bavaria people from different countries are living together in peace...

Old fashioned in the nicest way. The owner is super friendly, staff excellent. Absolutely perfect. In a great position for access by walking to the many nice places in this very nice town. Absolutely recommendable. Note I stayed here for a week at a time many times for work but this is equally good for holiday etc.

Nice hotel for short stay. The rooms are a bit small but all facilities are good. Best part is its right in the town centre and next to the train station. Good access to the local sights and transport.

Great service, very helpful, lovely character, excellent location. Good value, 3-star hatel with spacious family room to accommodate our family. Nothing was too much trouble, and we could walk to many sites and the supermarket. We recommend it for families, though there are lots of stairs.

It's like living in a traditional house. Although there is no elevator, they will help carry the luggage. The breakfast is rich. There is no air conditioning so there is a fan for ventilation. However, it is still hot and stuffy during the summer day, especially on the top floor.

We spent a lovely weekend at Zum Goldenen Ochsen while visiting friends in Aschaffenburg. The room was spacious, incredibly clean and stylish. It had an excellent bathroom with a fabulous shower and heated towel rack. We slept very well appreciating the quality of the bed and linen. We had a very nice stay in Zum Goldenen Ochsen hotel while on holidays in Bavaria during July. The hotel is to a high standard with a good size room and helpful service. It has a good location withing walking distance of the train station as well as the Altstadt with good restaurant & beer garden choices nearby, Stephen, Cork, Ireland

Very friendly staff! We speak very little German and they were able to help us out. Great location! I walked every where while my husband worked and it was very easy to get around. They do have a small parking lot for guest to park in as well.

It's very clean. It's also very easy to access from the train station, which also features a very big garage. Close walk to center. Room is sizable and bathroom very clean.

We only stayed one night here but would have loved to stay longer. The Audrey room (where we stayed, each style room is different) was just beautiful and relaxing to be in. One of the best values for your money when it comes to a hotel room.

The room was small but nice. The bathroom has been newly renovated. Overall a good impression. There were little things that didn't fit. The sink is so small that you can hardly wash your hands. The soap dispenser is directly above so that you can't put your head/face near the sink. Definitely skip breakfast. Low quality ingredients.

Very comfortable room and friendly staff. Breakfast was nicely prepared and definitely sufficient. The only thing that could be annoying for some people is the fact that the road can be heard due to the location, but that didn't bother me. We'll be back next time you're in the area!

Nicely decorated and modern facilities. This is the second time we have stayed here on business for the trade fair and we will be coming back here for the third time. It's a great place near Aschaffenburg train station! The breakfast is also quite good. I give it 5 stars! The front desk was staffed by three German women, and the service was excellent.

If you are a light sleeper, it is better to sleep with the windows closed, depending on the room, as the trains at the station can sometimes be noisy

Great experience! We were there for one night.At the arrives we park our car in the private parking in the back of the hotel.The guy in reception was very friendly and very nice.Room was clean and tidy! Everything was nice!

The room was clean but still there was a kind of sewer smell in the room. In the night we heard weird mechanical noises which kept us awake. Also it was very annoying that charging spots for electric cars were occupied by parked fuel cars. Not being able to charge overnight added substantial time to our journey.

This was a great stay for those in transit through Germany. The place is clean and comfy. The bathroom is small but fine. we had breakfast which was really good. it's easy to get to from the highway. some could be disturbed by the nearby train station but my kids loved to watch the trains.
