Where to stay in Attendorn

This hotel is very clean and hygienic. I like it very much. It is like a castle. The service is also very thoughtful. It is very quiet at night and not noisy. The breakfast is also very delicious.

The service at the hotel is excellent!

I travel to here for work so this will be my new place to stay.

This seems to be a relatively new place directly next to the Atterhöhle-cave. It has modern conference facilities, a decent restaurant especially for buffets, very spacious and modern rooms as well as a bowling alley. The only downside was that they had to close the outdoor terrace at 10pm despite no real neighbors next door. Otherwise highly recommended

The landscaping and architecture are most impressive. The hospitality was charming and the staff were kind and helpful.

I have been at the hotel 3 days. Everything was perfect except that in my room there was no range and WiFi didn't work at all.

We stayed with a couple of friends (5 in total) in the vacation home nearby Romantik Hotel Platte. The vacation home offers plenty of room for 5 people. The vacation house has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, which was perfect for us, since we were with 2 couples and 1 single. The vacation house is very well maintained and comfortable. The room was clean and tidy. I was very satisfied with my stay.

We were visiting and looking for a place to stay for one night. The furnishings are old, but everything worked, it was clean, and the bed was very soft and comfortable.

100 plus points because the dogs were allowed to come, even in the restaurant. We did not see the promised welcome drink. Fairly dated hotel, with a simple kitchen. The meatballs in tomato sauce, for example, were without tomato sauce

Lovely clean friendly near the town center very enjoyable

Stayed for 1 night in the family room. The room was clean and well managed with beautiful view. 👌 Even though it's a small hotel, the staffs were well trained and very kind. Be aware that there's no elevator in the building. Also, can access to town center in 5 min. by driving.

Booking at short notice is no problem. Nice rooms, good breakfast. Parking spaces directly at the hotel.

When in Plettenberg, I always stay in this "Kino" hotel. Very kind personel, better than average food, nice rooms, perfect price. Noone wants more. Best hotel in Plettenberg in my opinion.

Unfortunately, our expectations were exceeded. The breakfast was plentiful, the beds comfortable and the area beautiful.

The bathroom was clean, but lots of house spiders who also felt at home there. Shower comfort is just sufficient. Breakfast and service is good. Overall, the price-quality ratio is fine.

Incredibly friendly and cozy here... The food is really delicious, especially the salads... The rooms and the house are very rustic and therefore extremely comfortable... The scenic view and this idyll let you relax very quickly come... The hospitality of the Weber family is really nice... You feel very welcome here 😊

I visited the hotel as part of a conference to which I also had to take my dog. Fortunately, that was totally unproblematic, as dogs were allowed in the conference room. The food was great, the room was very clean, the staff was very friendly and very accommodating. Due to the location you could always take a short walk in between. Highly recommended, even without a conference.

Thank you for a perfect winter weekend. Starting with the management of the house with the nice employees. The rooms are clean. The food is delicious and the drinks tasty. The Sauerland Olympics and the hike were very exciting and funny. very recommended!!!

We have stayed at Haus Berghoff from April 19th to 21st, 2022. We traveled as a couple with a child of primary school age. The house is idyllic and quiet. We really enjoyed that. The reception by Mr. Berghoff (junior) was very taciturn but nice. He doesn't seem like your typical host but that was fine with us. We were escorted to the room and everything was explained to us. Very nice apartment in a very quiet location with a great roof terrace and a view of the mountain and horse meadow. Great breakfast and very friendly and helpful hosts. The wellness area is about a too small when fully occupied and the cooling pool was only filled up to calf height. Daa could be better. Still, we'd love to come back.

Amazing nature, very friendly staff and good service.

First: We didn't stay there (unfortunately)... If the rooms are only half as comfortable as the dining room, you can only give 5 stars ☺️ We stopped in there and enjoyed Bergische waffles and apple strudel! Very nice, fast and friendly service and everything freshly prepared! Thank you and : We will definitely come back here again.

For me one of the best country inns in Germany. My room, the location, the architecture, the outdoor area, the great kitchen and the excellent breakfast: everything was 1A. But I would particularly like to highlight the sovereign, competent and authentically friendly staff. I felt extremely comfortable here. M.E. 5 stars are not enough.

Amazing large room on this expansive complex. Hotel resrautant church sports hall meeting facility. Beautifully set in a wooded valley near Siegen. .Plenty of parking & nice food.

It was a very nice but short stay. I wish I could stay a bit longer and walk around in the beautiful garden and the forest nearby. The Sauna was very relaxing.

Great Rooms designed with some african decoration and so is the hole Hotel. I was fascinated by it. The only bad thing is that there was no cleaning service for my room , since i stayed for two nights i needed a change of towel unfortunately that service wasn t provided . Otherwise i had a great experience

I stayed at this hotel last year. Overall, it was okay, for the money you pay, don't expect too much. It doesn't belong to the category of establishments I would rate with 4 or 5 stars. The food is okay. As for the staff, you might be used to a cold attitude, but for me, it was fine. I can't say they were overly friendly or accommodating. The spa center was also okay, nothing special compared to hotels...

Amazing hotel and experience. The spa is beautiful and very clean with great views over the lake. Hotel service was very professional and they were able to cater food for my gluten free & nut allergy requests. Only thing in my opinion that let the room down slightly was the aircon not working, tv was difficult to work and pillows were not great, however still a top stay!!

Was there a few times a couple of years ago. My best memories of Germany start from here with hotel and service. They were very kind to me during my stays and the food that Eric cooks is amazing.

I liked the tastefully renovated old premises. The room was spacious and very comfortable. It’s an interesting hotel with a history and has its own special charm. The breakfast was excellent, a huge choice of everything, fresh veggies and fruit.

I love the style of the hotel and the staff is very friendly. The bed is a little bit noisy and the walls are somewhat thin but that is not a problem. The breakfast buffet is very delicious, a lot of choice and also healthy options. We also fancied the bar, many choices for good drinks.

The hotel is ok, a bit old but it has some “charm”. Don’t expect luxury but beds are good. DO NOT dine here. For the first time in my life I had to send the meal back to the kitchen. It was inedible.

Interesting hotel main building with period decor, even a suit of armour! Rooms are in a modern wing and are good. Service is very good. Food is good but if you are a vegetarian, like me, be aware there are only 2 choices so if you stay 3 days or more..... Also no restaurant or bar service from 10am to 5pm. I appreciate how clean and quiet this place is, and that it has good internet as well as a comfy bed and a spacious room. The location is also great in walkable distance from the rail station and city dentre near to the places where I needed to be.

Best points - breakfast buffet was nicely done and offered good choices. Staff were consistently friendly and helpful. Less good - The restaurant is closed on the weekends except for breakfast. Many outlets but old style round. You need outlet adapters to fit inside a round outlet. Too warm in room even with window open - no AC

OK, but not great. Pretty old furnishing, bathrooms could use a makeover. Also, they don't seem to be running their heating too often. Had to put it in full throttle in my room for an hour, before room temperature was adequate.

I have visited this hotel already a few times. In general, services are good, rooms clean and breakfasts allright. Only the last time, I was situated in the hotel room with some kind of "central ventilation system" somewhere above my head. It sounded like a starting airplane, even with earplugs in my head. I could not sleep and nobody from hotel reception even slightly cared to do anything about...

We had a very fine visit. The front staff was very helpful and friendly. Great breakfast spread had a good selection that was continuously refreshed. Again, all around very nice and friendly staff.

Centrally located hotel, friendly staff, delicious breakfast! The room was very small and a bit old, which you know when you book the hotel. For a 3-star hotel you absolutely shouldn't complain. Even a pool and a small sauna on the roof. Here and there you can still work on the cleanliness, but I don't want to complain and can recommend the hotel.

Despite the renewed change of ownership still to be recommended. Unfortunately in the evening without a restaurant and bar. Breakfast buffet is sufficient and is always freshly supplemented. The only downside for me are the rolls. You shouldn't save at the wrong end when it comes to quality. Staff as on previous visits, always very friendly and competent.
