Great stay, our family room was clean and nice. Spa and pool also nice. Early in the morning with little children was fine. Location near village center. Parking in the back site of hotel is free. We went skiing in Willingen from here. (40min drive)

This hotel is a very beautiful hotel, with friendly staff. The spa facilities are very good. Swimming pool inside and outside, sauna in and outside. Bad Arolsen is also a very nice little town . We had a beautiful room ( junior suite ) with very good beds. Breakfast was very good. If possible we certainly will retain here.

The reception was very professional & friendly, I had to go for a walk because my room wasn’t ready until 3pm. In regards to previous reviews: yes some aspects of the rooms are showing wear & tear but the management is apparently renovating room-by-room so as to not cause construction stress for the guests. We are visiting from another country and got to the hotel past early morning. We were in need to find a room and Krebs was absolutely amazing. He helped us with every single thing and did not leave our side until we were all set up. He went back and forth to help us and also spoke excellent English which helped since we do not speak Dutch. Very nice pension in the heart of the mountain town of Landau. The rooms are very clean, the owners are very friendly and always try to make your stay as pleasant as possible. The schnitzels are also highly recommended. All in all, fully recommended.

Nice restaurant, run by a Dutch person. Was a surprise to hear Dutch in Germany. I ordered "stoofpotje" which was made with Guinness. That was actually nice. They recommended Grolsch to go with that which was a suggestion ( I would never have picked that beer). Good combination.

The room was clean and very welcoming. Much like you would expect from the picture. However, the service gets unfriendly as soon as you ask them for any favours, such as being allowed to arrive a bit later or to use a table after you’ve checked-out in order to get some work done.

We only ate at the restaurant so I can't judge the rooms. The young waiter wasn't very polite although not rude, but he seemed a tad 'lost'. The other staff were very nice and professional. The menu and the restaurant in general however show very little Dutch influences. They have a lunch menu that have some typical Dutch snacks but I wouldn't go there to experience some sense of Holland. In short...

Here in the picture you can see a sirloin plate. First there was a greeting from the kitchen. Everything was very tasty and the meat was cooked to the smallest detail. The service staff is very attentive and the beer glass does not remain empty for a long time. If you want to eat here, you should definitely reserve a table in advance! Definitely worth a visit!

The rooms are very unique, well kept and spacious. The breakfast setup and service was outstanding. Hotel parking was a breeze and the location being right in the old town was great for walking around to see the town.

Brilliant place for bikepacking! Quiet, lovely furnished, a proper pump, garage for bikes, place to clean your bike and and topped by a breakfast that you would rather expect in a 5 star hotel. Absolutely recommended.

My 2nd time here, perfect size, great sized rooms, large comfortable beds, breakfast to feed kings or queens, both stays have been for work trips and located so to work and local amenities. My wife and I have been guests at the Hotel Werbetal a number of times. The stay is always a very special experience! The comfort rooms with a view of the lake are very cozy and tastefully furnished. Gem of a hotel, superb value supported by an excellent restaurant. One very small gripe, they need to provide Internet. The so called WiFi is very very slow and there is no or little Mobile coverage in the area.

It was great, we wore there for the lake, and we walked down from the hotel. lucky us, they have a chairlif near the road so you can easily be up there. On my birthday they give us free sect.

Luxury and comfort from 60''s in a 500-inhabitants village. Still - clean, nice breakfast, and if you like bicycle rides, exactly in the right place. They have a castle nearby, too :)

If you can make the hike to the top the view will absolutely be worth it. I made a video of it for you to see here. Don't worry if it is a long drive up the hill, right before the top their is a bathroom stop amongst all the parking spots, the cleanest bathroom I've seen in my life. You should check it out to see how accurate I am. There is also a restaurant and gift shop inside the castle.

Great views, cool sightseeing. Not too many people. Nice gift shop, but for some reason they yell at u if u try to translate book titles with an photo app.

Friendly welcome, beautiful surroundings and clean rooms. Breakfast was good and varied, swimming pool a bit cold but nicely furnished. Unfortunately we couldn't open the window at night because there was no mosquito net.

We stayed for 2 nights and I was really at peace with everything, the owner was incredibly friendly and always asked if everything was good. It's always a pleasure to come back to the hotel from a short trip on the Edersee. We recommend . Thank you for a great stay.

We were there 9 nights and unfortunately we only found the peace and quiet that we had hoped for to a limited extent. At the end of the sudden construction of a prefabricated house, plus barking dogs and some room changes. I stayed here a few days during a business trip. This hotel has everything you need. The staff is so friendly and helpful. They realy take care about their guests. The rooms are also clean and nice. If i will stay again nearby. I'll choose this hotel again for sure.

Very clean room. Breakfast was good, nice employees! Only the pillow was too soft, but that is a personal opinion. But if you don't like soft pillow I advise to take your own pillow with you.
