The room was spacious but very old, they don't have room service , I needed to buy some tea and I had to go the bar infront of the hotel The location is amazing

Great hotel, with a very good breakfast and a nice restaurant, a spa and many options for sauna and hot pools. The only problem is regarding the shower, water pressure might swing rapidly turning the water temperature either super hot or super cold, i almost fell in the shower due to the water becoming burning hot.

We love this hotel. It’s the only place we will stay when we visit Bad Arolsen. The rooms are very nice and comfortable. The staff is very accommodating, and the breakfast has lots of options. We really like the pool now that the renovations are complete - even though it was too cold to use the pool this time.

We had an excellent stay and enjoyed our 'superior room' very much: nicely furnitured, very comfortable and clean. Fantastic wellness factilities, with indoor pool (and outdoor pool...but that's too cold in October ;->), whirlpool and 3 indoor- and 2 outdoor sauna's: great! We enjoyed our stay. The staff is very friendly and always attentive. Restaurants for all tastes, accessible without going outside, even in the rain.

Absolutely IMPRESSIVE!!!! We stopped at this hotel as it was not too far away from the highway...and WOW...what a find!!! Everything here is very top notch quality. The hotel is really new and modern. The rooms are really beautiful and have a huge TV. The first filling of the Mini Bar is included. The only thing that we didn't like is a sound, we believe that it is the air condition of the kitchen, that was hearable. The breakfast was very nice and tasty.

Five stars is insane. Great staff, terrific breakfast, countryish neighborhood (sheep across the street!) and the hotel outside is attractive. Rooms, however, get three stars. They’re dark and cheap and rather than “rustic” ours looked like it hadn’t been renovated since the 1970s. Very nice pension in the heart of the mountain town of Landau. The rooms are very clean, the owners are very friendly and always try to make your stay as pleasant as possible. The schnitzels are also highly recommended. All in all, fully recommended.

Nice restaurant, run by a Dutch person. Was a surprise to hear Dutch in Germany. I ordered "stoofpotje" which was made with Guinness. That was actually nice. They recommended Grolsch to go with that which was a suggestion ( I would never have picked that beer). Good combination.

The room was clean and very welcoming. Much like you would expect from the picture. However, the service gets unfriendly as soon as you ask them for any favours, such as being allowed to arrive a bit later or to use a table after you’ve checked-out in order to get some work done.

We only ate at the restaurant so I can't judge the rooms. The young waiter wasn't very polite although not rude, but he seemed a tad 'lost'. The other staff were very nice and professional. The menu and the restaurant in general however show very little Dutch influences. They have a lunch menu that have some typical Dutch snacks but I wouldn't go there to experience some sense of Holland. In short...

Here in the picture you can see a sirloin plate. First there was a greeting from the kitchen. Everything was very tasty and the meat was cooked to the smallest detail. The service staff is very attentive and the beer glass does not remain empty for a long time. If you want to eat here, you should definitely reserve a table in advance! Definitely worth a visit!

We went here to eat. We were very impressed by the kitchen and the service. Everyone is very attentive. In addition, the premises are barrier-free! Highly Recommended!

We stayed for 2 nights. The hotel is modern and stylish. Bare concrete walls are a bold design choice, but not everyone's taste. The bed is comfortable, but the shelves on the "bedside tables" are very small and the light switches are only on one side of the bed. Reading lamps are completely missing. The rooms are very unique, well kept and spacious. The breakfast setup and service was outstanding. Hotel parking was a breeze and the location being right in the old town was great for walking around to see the town.

Room was a good size, very clean and comfortable. The bed sheets and towels were very soft and luxurious. Very good breakfast, with lots of locally produced food. Earlier reviews mention no English - this has obviously changed, as all the staff we met spoke English, and many signs were in both English and German.

Nice themes in the rooms, but overall not as perfect as we expected. The breakfast was fine. A few meters from the hotel is some bar and people there are very loud at Fridays. Perfect location and typical german architecture.

Brilliant place for bikepacking! Quiet, lovely furnished, a proper pump, garage for bikes, place to clean your bike and and topped by a breakfast that you would rather expect in a 5 star hotel. Absolutely recommended.

My 2nd time here, perfect size, great sized rooms, large comfortable beds, breakfast to feed kings or queens, both stays have been for work trips and located so to work and local amenities. Recommend colleagues coming over for work. Personal touches and friendliness adds to your stay by the owners.

Very nice reception, I feel right at home. Room very clean and a good size. A few pictures in Google had put me off, but I was pleasantly surprised. I can only rate room 25, and that's perfect with the terrace 👍🏻👌🏻🤟🏻😍

My wife and I have been guests at the Hotel Werbetal a number of times. The stay is always a very special experience! The comfort rooms with a view of the lake are very cozy and tastefully furnished. The absolute highlight every time is the warm service and the excellent food! The Gerlach family and all of the staff go to great lengths and you can tell. We will be back definitely! -S. Big

The whole hotel is very clean! The rooms are spacious and functional. The staff is very friendly and attentive. A compliment to the kitchen: the breakfast was plentiful and there was something for every taste. In the evening we had a delicious meal in a nice atmosphere. Always my pleasure!

Very nice hotel. The rooms are very large and very clean. I had booked the Flair pleasure package. The food was really excellent. Daso staff was very nice. This will definitely not be my last stay at this hotel.

Gem of a hotel, superb value supported by an excellent restaurant. One very small gripe, they need to provide Internet. The so called WiFi is very very slow and there is no or little Mobile coverage in the area.

It was great, we wore there for the lake, and we walked down from the hotel. lucky us, they have a chairlif near the road so you can easily be up there. On my birthday they give us free sect.

Luxury and comfort from 60''s in a 500-inhabitants village. Still - clean, nice breakfast, and if you like bicycle rides, exactly in the right place. They have a castle nearby, too :)

Location overlooking the Eder Dam, the castle buildings and various views available.

If you can make the hike to the top the view will absolutely be worth it. I made a video of it for you to see here. Don't worry if it is a long drive up the hill, right before the top their is a bathroom stop amongst all the parking spots, the cleanest bathroom I've seen in my life. You should check it out to see how accurate I am. There is also a restaurant and gift shop inside the castle.

Great views, cool sightseeing. Not too many people. Nice gift shop, but for some reason they yell at u if u try to translate book titles with an photo app.

Friendly welcome, beautiful surroundings and clean rooms. Breakfast was good and varied, swimming pool a bit cold but nicely furnished. Unfortunately we couldn't open the window at night because there was no mosquito net.

We stayed for 2 nights and I was really at peace with everything, the owner was incredibly friendly and always asked if everything was good. It's always a pleasure to come back to the hotel from a short trip on the Edersee. We recommend . Thank you for a great stay.

We were there 9 nights and unfortunately we only found the peace and quiet that we had hoped for to a limited extent. At the end of the sudden construction of a prefabricated house, plus barking dogs and some room changes. Certainly everything is a matter of taste, but the comfort room wasn't okay anymore, best of all was the cozy balcony. The breakfast became boring over time, so more variety would...

Very cozy, delicious breakfast and lots of coffee ☕. The owner is very friendly and helpful, even checks the bus schedule on the network for us to see when and where we can go to Korbach. Nothing can go wrong there!

The stay was too short but our time was also limited. We do plan to revisit this area in the future.

The place is located in a wonderful location, overlooking the Edersee. It is very reminiscent of the sea environment and we like that. The food was delicious as well as the beer we drank everything was great. We definitely visit again when we are on the Edersee.

We visited the restaurant, great location right at the lake, indoor and outdoor seating, all in a lovely beach theme decor, very friendly and attentive service staff, great for coffee, cake, drinks, ice cream, or lunch/dinner too, we'll definitely visit again!

I had an ice coffee, it was tasty but not very special. You have to be patient. It took half an hour before they finally took my order. But the view is nice.

Super new and clean chalets, should be lovely in summertime. For skiing a 30 min drive to Willingen.

I stayed here a few days during a business trip. This hotel has everything you need. The staff is so friendly and helpful. They realy take care about their guests. The rooms are also clean and nice. If i will stay again nearby. I'll choose this hotel again for sure.
