Villa Otto in Bad Salzuflen

I'd give the room and breakfast 5 stars, but checking in spoiled my mood. Therefore, an important note for all future guests: The door opener sent by email only works for the entrance door, Haus Otto, and Eichenhof. The door opener for the booked room does NOT work. The phone number provided led to a code that also doesn't work. The only thing that helps is a visit to the Lippischer Hof hotel, which is part of the Hotel Otto/Eichenhof. Unlike the other two hotels, the reception is staffed there, and you get the code to get the key card from the "key boy" at the Hotel Otto. At the Eichenhof, the card is left in the open mailbox. If you don't know all of this and don't happen to meet another guest who gives you these instructions, you're out of luck. Therefore, my request to the Hotel Otto/Eichenhof: Please reword your confirmation email and include how to check in, or ensure that the enclosed door opener also works for the room door.
