Hotel Garni Gastehaus Brand

Disastrous, right in front of a major construction site and the noise in my room was unbearable. When booking, I specifically asked for a quiet room with a balcony. I was NOT informed that there was a very loud construction site in the immediate vicinity where noise was made from morning to night. Rest and relaxation was not possible. I find it irresponsible that the operators do not point this out even though they are obliged to do so. It's sad how inconsiderately people act here, on the backs of the guests. My room was also extremely small and rustically furnished. A tall person can hardly move in the bathroom. Almost €100 per day is charged for this (including breakfast and spa tax). I find that very excessive. After several days of my vacation were ruined by the noise and sleeping in was out of the question, I ended my stay and looked for other accommodation. There is still no mention of the noisy construction site on the website, which I find shabby as peace and relaxation can be expected at this price. At least the booking was professional and the accommodation was clean. I was not given any understanding when my stay was cut short. Sad. Just turn on the sound during the videos. Then everything is explained.
