We booked an apartment 100m away from the main building. Really nice and spacious, though I was informed that NOONE would tidy up my room during the 5-day stay - that's what happens for those that rent appartments!!! Excellent breakfast and really friendly front-office staff, couldn't say the same though for the restaurant staff...

Traditional style apartment with views and very spacious. Well equipped kitchen and very good bathroom. Sitting and dining area well appointed. Beds are comfortable, large and heating in winter if anything too effective so we turned most of the radiators off. 50 metres or so to the main hotel which is where checkin takes place. Well they can’t do anything about the weather so this time we were in our Junior Suite more than usual. It is really comfortable and of course spacious. It has a great view of the lake and is the only hotel in Bad Wiessee with direct access to swimming. This is our go to quiet destination for relaxing. The restaurant ist very good and the prices are reasonable. I highly recommend a stay here!!

Beautiful location. We arrived late in the evening and had a really good experience the night manager was extremely friendly and helpful other than that we didn't have any other good experiences.Overall the hotel was very disappointing.

I stayed here for a friends wedding. The hotel was very accommodating and has an extensive and beautifully designed spa area that we all took advantage of throughout the weekend. The hotel may have been a four star at one time but time is not treating it well. There’s a major need for a good number of updates starting with the arrival experience. We stayed for 1 week including half board in the Hotel Alpenhof. Everything was perfect, breakfast menu with a good hygiene concept was very rich and the dinner was high quality and delicious. The decor of the rooms after the renovation was modern, everything was clean, the bathrooms were new. All in all a good thing, we'll be back.

Very pleasant room with a comfortable bed, clean bathroom and a well stocked mini bar including chocolate. The staff ate very helpful and attentive. The hotel is located a few minutes walk from the lake which is a very good place to walk to see some wildlife and take in some fresh air.

Food absolutely great. The wellness area is getting old and will certainly not be maintained due to the planned new construction in 2020. Location is great and for a holiday with dog, the house is very accommodating. Will certainly stop by after the conversion.

The hotel Schnitzer was already a bit old and will definitely be renovated in the near future. Room 21 is not suitable for persons over 1.80cm. Thanks to the many sloping roofs have hit my head several times. Everything was clean, the mattresses of the beds were good. The breakfast is very good. The boss is very friendly and personable.

Very nice location to the center, very good hotel facilities; Both recommended for hikers as well as for families.

I was there for 1 week. The hotel is right on the lake and there is also a delicious breakfast. The staff is VERY nice and the rooms are nicely decorated. Unfortunately there is only breakfast for lunch or in the evening you have to reserve somewhere else.

Best hotel in the area, most bang for the buck. Great breakfast, very nice rooms. Weinbauer restaurant highly recommended local produce freshly served every day. The shop "Hausladen" on the same premises is also run by the same family, with a great selection of regional products.

Less than 200 metres from the crystal clear waters of the Tegernsee. A generous sized room with small balcony offering beautiful views to the mountains. Excellent breakfast on the wooden terrace. And of course the wonderful Uta–one of nicest hosts we've ever met

Frau Schreiber was very friendly and welcoming. The unique room decorations were so sweet and delightful! The other staff, particularly the cheerful and friendly Bulgarian room maid and the breakfast waiter who kept offering prosecco were superb. The room was very comfortable with nice balcony and plenty of space. The bed was comfortable too.

Really lovely hotel. Spotless with great breakfast and facilities. Close to the centre. My second stay here and I can highly recommend it.

Since 2011 for the 13th time at Resi from the post office, as always, a totally family atmosphere. Friendly, always helpful. For me and my wife, this is without a doubt our address on Lake Tegernsee!

The biggest positive surprise I've experienced in a hotel so far. We had room 1 on the ground floor. Lovingly furnished suite with a huge terrace and romantic garden. Breakfast has everything you could wish for as a guest. But the real highlight of this hotel are the hosts. Super friendly, always attentive and courteous. We stayed at the hotel last weekend with a total of 8 people and were all very enthusiastic, nice reception by the senior boss, great rooms, simply comfortable and so beautifully decorated, especially the large balcony is great. Breakfast very good, plenty of parking spaces directly at the house. 2-3 very good restaurants nearby, the junior chef gives great tips! You are at the lake in 2-3 minutes...

With the town centered around wellness tourism, this hotel has the right atmosphere. Sauna, indoor heated swimming pool and close to all the city attractions. The staff all dressed in traditional Bavarian dress.

Room was very small, old furnishings and not comfortable, after tough negotiations we got a new, nice room, it was clean and renovated. Only the TV didn't work. Breakfast was excellent, the service was also good.

We stayed here for one night on our Trans Alpine Trek….rooms very small but very clean and updated bathrooms. Our room looked out onto the garden/central courtyard. Breakfast was excellent with many choices. They also offered lunch for Euros 6 which was a great price…

Excellent hotel, rich breakfast buffet and high quality. The head waiters was so nice and taking care of guests although the restaurant was full. Rooms are nice, quit spacious with traditional furniture.

Good and Funny place Was a great stay. But noice from the road early in the morning were quite massive. Rooms are without Aircon. Spa area were very good. Dining at the location as well superb, but the menu card is limited for a 3 days stay. Area outstanding, extremely beautiful!

Great place to stay if you're planning to spend some time hiking or biking around Tegernsee. Also worked for a team off-site with good facilities for planning and team work. Nice casual breakfast and Asian inspired lunches :) Rooms where clean, bed comfortable, and design a bit retro.

The Landhotel Sonnenfeld can only be recommended. Big rooms but not all with showers. Breakfast very good, enough choice of cheese, and sausage, tomatoes, cucumbers, and peppers, scrambled eggs with bacon. Dinner simple, quick food, but plentiful, breadcrumbs finite, but everything was edible. We were all inclusive, so you could even take a packed lunch with you.

Very nice people, come here for the third time. The location is great, the food is delicious and also very sustainable. Not much is thrown away here. Some think it's bad that there is the same soup for lunch. We think it's great that nothing is thrown away. The staff is super friendly and for the price just great 4 meals a day including all kinds of drinks great breakfast buffet. All in all the price...

I loved my stay at the Askania Hotel. The location is great, the personal is very kind, the style keeps the magic of the old wooden mountain houses. Special mention to the breakfast. The room could be a little bit more modern (bathroom mostly). I do very recommend this hotel if you want a cosy stay at the Tegernsee.

Situated very near the beautiful lake Tegernsee, this hotel is in a great location. We had a large room with a great wrap around balcony, let down only by a very small but functional bathroom. Breakfast was plentiful - choose what you want the night before. Great food. Very austere decor, dark walks and paintings . Nicely done but it does make the hotel look dark and gloomy. Staff are really friendly...

Small family run hotel. The personel where very friendly and made you feel welcome. Rooms are clean, spacious with small balcony with great views of the Tegernsee and surrounding mountains. I had breakfast and dinner included, both of which where outstanding and generous in size. Would happily return.

Absolut tip for spending some nights in the Tegernsee area. Friendly staff, stylish bathroom, tasty dinner and amazing breakfast (mostly a la carte and all included!) were only beat by the view from our room. We cannot wait to come back!

Wonderful old building with beautiful traditional interior. The room is very comfortable and clean. The bathroom is large and well equipped. Excellent views of the lake, mountains and countryside. Wifi is not very good but is adequate for email and general surfing.

Super nice hosts who are very accommodating and helpful. You care deeply about the well-being of your guests. You can't complain here at all. Super delicious breakfast with a large selection. You can quickly reach Lake Tegernsee on foot and you will also find a variety of restaurants.

At the beginning of the month we shared a few rooms in the guest house. We were very satisfied, the rooms are wonderful, very clean and the hosts were TIPTOP. Very nice hotel, we received a very warm welcome and were offered help carrying our suitcases. Rooms are very clean, our bed was nice and big for two people, bathroom a bit narrow but still nice. Parking spaces are sufficient when there are not that many guests, but when there are more there are unfortunately a bit tight, as I am a stomach sleeper, the pillow was a bit too high and there was a small...

It is a great family-run Guesthouse. Very comfortable and one feel very welcoming. Breakfast is delicious and overall it is a great place to rest and spend good couple of days.

The location is a short walk to center of town and lake. Very friendly and helpful owner and staff. Good continental breakfast each morning. Room (15) was large and comfortable. We recommend this hotel and would definitely stay there again.

Family run smaller hotel. Very friendly family. Breakfast sufficient. Great location. Rooms and bathrooms are a bit dated and need updating. Very positive that there is a door to the balcony from both the room and the bathroom. We do not rule out booking there on another Tegernsee visit.

A nicely and quiet located hotel, close to the city and the lake. The owners are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is good, rooms are clean and from the balcony you have a fabulous view over the lake and the mountains. good hotel The room with a view of the lake is very nice! It was clean and they give you towels. The shower and sink was separate from the toilet. Breakfast is included in the price, very varied, abundant and rich. Parking was free and close to the hotel door.

This place is amazing! We had reserved two rooms. One single and one junior suite. The rooms are absolutely gorgeous and clean. Hotel staff called me and left my keys and the instructions for after hours check in. It was easy. Parking is on the premises, free. Breakfast in am. We would recommend it and would love to come back again.

We visited this place during a trip through Oberbayern. We got a Junior Suite with a very large room and a small kitchen. Unfortunately there was no table or desk where you could eat or work. The bath was a bit small but everything was working as expected. Furnitures and bed were ok. The staff was friendly. The breakfast served on the table (!) was good and healthy. All in all a good hotel,.

My room was really lovely and cozy with a nice big terrace! Loved the set breakfast tables with the fruit-bowls, etc.
