Where to stay in Bad Wiessee

With the town centered around wellness tourism, this hotel has the right atmosphere. Sauna, indoor heated swimming pool and close to all the city attractions. The staff all dressed in traditional Bavarian dress.

Excellent hotel, rich breakfast buffet and high quality. The head waiters was so nice and taking care of guests although the restaurant was full. Rooms are nice, quit spacious with traditional furniture.

We stayed for 1 week including half board in the Hotel Alpenhof. Everything was perfect, breakfast menu with a good hygiene concept was very rich and the dinner was high quality and delicious. The decor of the rooms after the renovation was modern, everything was clean, the bathrooms were new. All in all a good thing, we'll be back.

Very pleasant room with a comfortable bed, clean bathroom and a well stocked mini bar including chocolate. The staff ate very helpful and attentive. The hotel is located a few minutes walk from the lake which is a very good place to walk to see some wildlife and take in some fresh air.

The medium / rare steak was good, not perfect but still good. The price was totally okay. There was a great selection on the menu. My friend's dinner was perfect.

Spent one night there. Very nice clean rooms. There is a large beautiful garden with various loungers and seating with a view of the lake. Breakfast is delicious and the staff and the boss are very friendly and helpful. Gladly again anytime.

Best hotel in the area, most bang for the buck. Great breakfast, very nice rooms. Weinbauer restaurant highly recommended local produce freshly served every day. The shop "Hausladen" on the same premises is also run by the same family, with a great selection of regional products.

Less than 200 metres from the crystal clear waters of the Tegernsee. A generous sized room with small balcony offering beautiful views to the mountains. Excellent breakfast on the wooden terrace. And of course the wonderful Uta–one of nicest hosts we've ever met

Only had a dinner but it was delicious! Domestic fish from the local rivers and draft beer from the Ayinger brewery. That's the right finish for a sauna day

Great place to stay if you're planning to spend some time hiking or biking around Tegernsee. Also worked for a team off-site with good facilities for planning and team work. Nice casual breakfast and Asian inspired lunches :) Rooms where clean, bed comfortable, and design a bit retro.

I was there for 1 week. The hotel is right on the lake and there is also a delicious breakfast. The staff is VERY nice and the rooms are nicely decorated. Unfortunately there is only breakfast for lunch or in the evening you have to reserve somewhere else.

Great find at the Tegernsee. It's a small little hotel, more like a bed and breakfast. They have 19 rooms but ours was very spacious and super clean. Everything was very high quality as well from the mattress and bedding, towels to the bath products. The staff was super friendly and the breakfast plentiful and delicious. Would definitely be back.

Wonderful place to stay at the Tegernsee! We went all out and got the StGeorg Suite, which was absolutely gorgeous in a modern Bavarian aesthetic, and quite spacious for our family of four. Breakfast was wonderful, the bed was the most comfortable I've slept in for months, and the shower was amazing. We actually bought some of the bath products, that's how much we appreciated them. Amazing small hotel. Love that it's a Bio hotel. They are really kind here, and the rooms are nice. Breakfast is amazing, but it's only from 8-10 and there is only 5-6 tables. That makes a problem when the hotel is full because you stress a little bit to come down for having a place to sit so you don't get in the corner with the kitchen. Food absolutely great. The wellness area is getting old and will certainly not be maintained due to the planned new construction in 2020. Location is great and for a holiday with dog, the house is very accommodating. Will certainly stop by after the conversion.

The hotel Schnitzer was already a bit old and will definitely be renovated in the near future. Room 21 is not suitable for persons over 1.80cm. Thanks to the many sloping roofs have hit my head several times. Everything was clean, the mattresses of the beds were good. The breakfast is very good. The boss is very friendly and personable.

Frau Schreiber was very friendly and welcoming. The unique room decorations were so sweet and delightful! The other staff, particularly the cheerful and friendly Bulgarian room maid and the breakfast waiter who kept offering prosecco were superb. The room was very comfortable with nice balcony and plenty of space. The bed was comfortable too.

The Landhotel Sonnenfeld can only be recommended. Big rooms but not all with showers. Breakfast very good, enough choice of cheese, and sausage, tomatoes, cucumbers, and peppers, scrambled eggs with bacon. Dinner simple, quick food, but plentiful, breadcrumbs finite, but everything was edible. We were all inclusive, so you could even take a packed lunch with you.

Frühstück war gut und ausreichend. Lage ist Top - zu Fuß zum See kein Thema. Parken kein Problem, Personal nett. Zimmer einfach und gut ausgestattet, sehr sauber.

Super nice hosts who are very accommodating and helpful. You care deeply about the well-being of your guests. You can't complain here at all. Super delicious breakfast with a large selection. You can quickly reach Lake Tegernsee on foot and you will also find a variety of restaurants.

At the beginning of the month we shared a few rooms in the guest house. We were very satisfied, the rooms are wonderful, very clean and the hosts were TIPTOP. Very nice hotel, we received a very warm welcome and were offered help carrying our suitcases. Rooms are very clean, our bed was nice and big for two people, bathroom a bit narrow but still nice.
