Nice area, good for relaxing and hiking. The hotel owner is flexible, the rooms are tidy and support the relaxed atmosphere of the area. Parking is not easy for newcomers but adoptable over a few days. The breakfast is the standard continental expected at this price range. Worth visiting at least for a few days.

We were guests from 12/22/23 to 12/25/23. We were very impressed with Mr. Weingärtner's all-round service. If it were possible, we would like to give it more stars! The staff, with their warm welcome, their tips to spend the WE and their caring attention to details. The bathroom, the very comfortable view and the balcony with view to the Sommerberg. The location: very easy to reach with public transport, practically next to the Palais Thermal and the Kurpark.

We were guests there on a weekend and felt very comfortable. The attention of the host, the wellness area with roof terrace and the great location are worth a visit. We'll definitely be back.

I stayed here for 4 nights and had the most wonderful time. Not only was the hotel like stepping into a history of a family who runs a beautiful business for generations, but the views from my room and the location made my stay something I will remember forever. Sitting at the breakfast table, enjoying the extensive offerings - really very extensive - and happy to pass on our very good impression of the house. After several stays in the hotel, I can always say that we are very satisfied. The Munde family is very friendly, the rooms are large and the breakfast extensive. During our last stay we often had to extend it. This was made possible for us by the Munde family, even though the hotel was largely fully booked towards the end. We feel comfortable here and can only recommend the hotel.

Very good value for money! The hotel is not the most modern, but it is well maintained and clean. The breakfast buffet offers a classic selection and the quality of the products is impeccable. We didn't try dinner. There is free parking in front of the hotel and within a few minutes' walk you are directly in the center of Bad Wildbad. We'll definitely be back!

The rooms are newly renovated and very nice. Especially the bathroom. The staff is very nice and accommodating. We were also served very well in the in-house restaurant. The breakfast and evening menu are very good. With fresh regional products. The hotel is quietly located above the Vital Therme on the mountain. It's about a 10-minute walk to the city and the spa park.

We enjoyed the opportunity to use the thermal baths and walk into town easy. The staff was very helpful and gave us a great room with view.

Everything was great. Very friendly and dedicated staff. The room was clean and very nice. On request we got a second pillow. Also the breakfast was delicious. The only thing to complain about is the parking situation. There is parking in front of the hotel but you need a lot of luck to get one. There is a parking garage nearby which you have to pay for, but it's not too expensive.

The hotel is centrally located, quickly in the spa gardens, Thermal bath and mountain railway. Our room was clean, the beds were very good, the bathroom was small. View over Bad Wildbad 👍 Essen and the in-house swimming pool 👍 also with a beautiful view.

Last week I spent with my wife a Few quiet days in the Hotel Rothfuss. It is a very neat and quiet Hotel, accordingly also the ambience. We arrived late at 8:30 pm unfortunately they were closing the kitchen they wont serv us dinner or even a sandwich. In the region no restaurants, we were tired we spent the night hungry :-( The germans take dinner early 6pm. Otherwise the environment is nice and beautiful.

This place is like a flashback to the 60s and 70s. But the location is great, the view amazing and the family-style service very welcoming.

A very beautiful place in Germany, Wildbad. Great hotel. No wifi in some rooms, but Wildbad is a place where you don't need internet.

Room OK except for the shower. Breakfast buffet, friendly service. Unfortunately, the reception is not manned all the time. There is also no in-house restaurant. The Italian restaurant has not existed since the weekend. There are hardly any guests here, very few stay longer.

The facilities provided were clean and wanted for nothing, the Motorcycle was allocated its own safe parking. The host was full of information and was very friendly. Some of the main attractions, the forest walk with tower, sky bridge and cable car were nearby and if a walker or mountain biker, the forest was on the doorstep.

I can tell you that everything is exactly as in the pictures, exemplary cleanliness, total silence, wonderful host, everything is perfect..I would return anytime with pleasure ..

Wonderfully relaxed atmosphere, host is friendly and helpful, really takes the time for you, and then the food .... delicious, great room with balcony, highly recommended.

The responsible guest supplies himself with cold and warm drinks at any time and keeps a record of them. Good for the host, comfortable for the guest and positive for the friendly atmosphere. From the food to the cozy rooms and small talk with the all-rounder, the offers are dignified and enjoyable.

The Gasthof Hirsch with its boss, Mr.reiber at the helm, leaves nothing to be desired. We are "repeat offenders" and have felt more than comfortable again! Everything was just right! We are guaranteed not to have been guests there for the last time, we promise !!

Very clean quiet, good breakfast and coffee, within walking distance of Baum wipfelpfad , and sommerbergbahn down to Bad Wildbad.

We stayed at the hotel for four nights. Lovely room, great location at the top of Sommelberg, next to funicular, so getting into town and back up is easy. Lovely hiking and biking trails, great food, great hospitality.

The food prices are very reasonable considering just how large the servings are. For example, the pepper steak came with fries, potato salad hidden under a veggetable salad (that’s right, two sides of potato) as well as a huge knob of herb butter. It was also very good, so it’s not quantity over quality. The service was very quick and friendly as well, i’ll definitely go back if i’m in the area again

Very nice atmoshpere, great quality food and very friendly and proactive staff. We went there after our Waldwipfelweg-Challenge where my mom (89) took a slide challenge from the top, so we were hungry and this experience here made our visit complete!

Was a huge apartment- plenty of space to move about in. We were on the top floor so the views were spectacular and really nice to enjoy on the terrace. Clean and neat with a funky shower. Great location in the town. Staff were friendly also!

I stayed at the hotel with my sister from May 6th to 8th. We received a very friendly welcome and got very good tips on where to eat and what else is going on in Bad Wildbad. The two single rooms were very clean. The breakfast was perfectly adequate, what was missing was refilled and it wasn't so rich that half had to be thrown away afterwards. Of course, the hotel and its furnishings are getting old...
