Steigenberger Hotel Der Sonnenhof

We learned about the town from a friend and after searching for hotels picked the property as our “base” for 2 nights in the area. The hotel is just wonderful. We arrived on a Sunday afternoon and pre booked 2 massages in the spa. They were excellent. We then had dinner in the Bavarian restaurant and had a wonderful meal. The following day after much touring around the area, we returned in the early evening. We had a light bite in the hotel lounge and the food was very good. Breakfast is excellent, as is the breakfast room. Staff is super helpful.

Stayed at the Steigenberger Hotel Der Sonnenhof for a small getaway, and the experience was nothing short of perfect! From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed by the incredibly friendly and attentive staff, who made sure every aspect of my stay was flawless. The rooms are spacious, beautifully designed, and offer stunning views that truly enhance the overall experience.

The food was absolutely delicious, with a variety of options that catered to every taste. Each meal was a delight, showcasing the culinary excellence of the hotel.

The highlight of my stay was definitely the spa and pool area. It’s the perfect place to escape from the world and focus on rejuvenating your mind and soul. The serene environment and luxurious amenities made it easy to relax and unwind completely.

I can’t recommend the Steigenberger Hotel Der Sonnenhof enough. It’s the ideal destination for anyone looking for a peaceful and luxurious retreat. I will definitely be coming back again and again! Five stars all the way!

If you love it big and a little bit luxury then you are at the right place. Not as much as I already saw but a great place to be. Comfortable rooms, friendly staff and an exquisite gastronomy. With spa which is good for relaxing.
New remark (2024): During the last 4 years I had two more times to relax in this hotel. My recommendation is still valid.

Despite located in middle of nowhere, this hotel brings you a great retreat place to stay. The food is good, the room is spacious, clean and bright. The service is at its high standard. The noteworthy point of this hotel is its surrounding area. There is a huge garden just in front with a great green scenery, a diversity of roses and (for the tennis fans like me) a system of tennis clay courts. The town is very peaceful and lovely.

A great 5 star hotel

Enjoy a little get-away or go for vacation. Whatever you choose that is the right place to be. Close to Kurpark and with a nice garden, pool, spa and restaurants: You won't miss anything. The staff is helpful and attentive, the service outstanding. Not to mention the delicious food and the relaxing spa treatments.

Decent hotel. Large rooms with balconies. No AC. Hotel restaurants were okay. Great breakfast, and hotel staff were helpful and quick.
