To simply put it in a nutshell, we were completely satisfied and had wonderfully beautiful days in the Allgäu. Our domicile “Die Mittelburg” in Oy-Mittelberg was lovingly furnished, had an incredibly friendly and helpful staff and the 3/4 board was a pleasure every day. It's a shame we were only there for four days, but we'd love to come back.

Above all, the excellent food, but also the extremely friendly staff, as well as the pleasant spa area made us feel very comfortable. We got everything our hearts desired! All wishes were fulfilled and there were also one or two pleasant surprises. We recommend this hotel 100%!

Relatively small, family-run hotel in a very quiet location. The house could use some updating, but overall it is very comfortable. Kitchen and service are excellent! Everything was good in the room. We found the wellness area to be very good, especially that the sauna was "only" 85 degrees. Just a few more loungers would have been nice.

The hotel is classically furnished and, what is extremely important to me, everything is clean and the staff is super friendly. Almost everything is made possible what the guest asks for. At least one of the bosses is always on site and is actually always available. The food is delicious, especially the breakfast buffet is really very good. We are very much looking forward to traveling to the Mittelburg at least once every year!

The hotel is in a great location and the rooms are very nicely decorated, some of them a bit old, but very clean. We liked the old boss and also the young boss Michi very much. The old boss's tone was not at all friendly. She assumed we hadn't registered our dog. What we didn't know either was that the dog is not allowed to stay in the room if you are not allowed to take him to the restaurant ... But the house itself is very nice. The wellness area is great and the kitchen is very creative and delicious!

For guests who do not stay there, unfortunately limited service.
- no cake in the afternoon
- had to say goodbye after half an hour, because then dinner started for the overnight guests. But there was nobody to be seen far and wide.
Iced coffee itself was good, but quite expensive. Price performance therefore so medium.
