We've stayed at many hotels on Borkum, but we absolutely love the Inselhof the best! The rooms are spacious and comfortably furnished. We've rarely slept so well in a bed; they're very comfortable. The breakfast is highly recommended; you get everything your heart desires. From freshly squeezed orange juice to equally freshly prepared egg dishes that don't come from a tetra pack. We had booked the guest house at the end of '24 (still Rias Beach House at that time) and arrived on April 24th, 2025...unfortunately we weren't happy with the bed, among other things...we complained about that at the reception in the Inselhof and within an hour the very nice receptionist had a room ready for us in the main building...the room was great and the breakfast buffet and the service staff...

We were served very courteously and had a delicious dinner, although we weren't registered during Corona times, we got a place with a wonderful view of the sea. The food was fresh and tasty.

This was our second time in the hotel. The rooms have been renovated. It has become very cozy and beautiful. Breakfast at the buffet rich and tasty. The staff tried very hard. There was even an apple pie for my wife's birthday. We have already booked for 2022.

If you have the room at the back, it can be very noisy during the day. There are lots of children playing there, and they are right to let off steam there. Unfortunately, due to the construction, it is twice as loud. Otherwise the hotel is ok.

Everything. We were treated well on arrival, our room was spacious and the breakfast was one of the best we have had. The breakfast staff were super helpful and friendly. The location is great for the town, 1 minute for the train, 5 minutes to the beach. The little park outside is great for sitting and watching the world go by. We would have happily stayed longer.

Very friendly welcome, we were offered a coffee on arrival. The room was very nice and modern. Kettle and a large TV was also available. The bathroom was great. All in all, everything was very clean. We also felt very comfortable in the breakfast room. Even on Sunday there was fresh bread from the bakery. The personnel is very friendly and courteous. We look forward to the next visit 🙂👍

We stayed in the Kleine Möwe house. It would have been nice if we had been informed beforehand that the registration is in Haus Borkum and that the time for registration is from 3pm to 6pm. There is no indication of this in the Kleine Möwe house and the restaurant owner can react to constant questions depending on how things are going on the day. The room service is not good for the price of the upscale...

The single room was perfectly adequate for my needs, lovingly furnished, and very clean – you can tell that the hotel has been built with passion. We stayed there with the whole family (4 rooms) for a long weekend to celebrate a milestone birthday. Everything was perfect. The manageress gave us a very friendly, personal welcome. Our wishes were taken into account, and the breakfast table was specially set for the birthday. Everyone slept well and felt at home. I definitely recommend the hotel 👍🏽

I felt very comfortable. Located on the second floor (no elevator, but not a problem for me), overlooking the train station. You can't hear anything from outside when the window is closed. The tourist train stops right at the hotel, restaurants and shops are right in front of the door and the promenade is less than two minutes.
