Where to stay in Borkum

Dear all, Perfect place to stay. Breakfast was like in the Haven. The only minus was the professionalism of Anna Schmidt.

We were served very courteously and had a delicious dinner, although we weren't registered during Corona times, we got a place with a wonderful view of the sea. The food was fresh and tasty.

This was our second time in the hotel. The rooms have been renovated. It has become very cozy and beautiful. Breakfast at the buffet rich and tasty. The staff tried very hard. There was even an apple pie for my wife's birthday. We have already booked for 2022.

If you have the room at the back, it can be very noisy during the day. There are lots of children playing there, and they are right to let off steam there. Unfortunately, due to the construction, it is twice as loud. Otherwise the hotel is ok.

I was very happy with everything. Booked a single room and got a very nice, large double room. That was definitely a stroke of luck, but it doesn't change my rating. Location of the hotel is great. A very nice hotel. The room was very clean, the bathroom was newly renovated. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. The breakfast is plentiful and tasty. It is only a few meters to the lake promenade and the new lighthouse is right in front of the door. We would love to come back.

Everything. We were treated well on arrival, our room was spacious and the breakfast was one of the best we have had. The breakfast staff were super helpful and friendly. The location is great for the town, 1 minute for the train, 5 minutes to the beach. The little park outside is great for sitting and watching the world go by. We would have happily stayed longer.

Very friendly welcome, we were offered a coffee on arrival. The room was very nice and modern. Kettle and a large TV was also available. The bathroom was great. All in all, everything was very clean. We also felt very comfortable in the breakfast room. Even on Sunday there was fresh bread from the bakery. The personnel is very friendly and courteous. We look forward to the next visit 🙂👍

We stayed in the Kleine Möwe house. It would have been nice if we had been informed beforehand that the registration is in Haus Borkum and that the time for registration is from 3pm to 6pm. There is no indication of this in the Kleine Möwe house and the restaurant owner can react to constant questions depending on how things are going on the day. The room service is not good for the price of the upscale...

The location of the traditional house is unbeatable - get out of the small train, cross the street once, and you get into the beautiful atmosphere of the traditional house. There were wonderful days in the Villa Ems. You can't beat the location. The tourist train stops right at the hotel, restaurants and shops are right in front of the door and the promenade is less than two minutes. If you are looking for a relaxed atmosphere, then you have come to the right place at Villa Ems. The hotel is very centrally located, right by the small train station. We were now for a short break in Borkum in the Hotel Kachelot. Very nice, well-kept hotel, very nice employees, great, rich breakfast ... And in 5 minutes you are at the sea ... We would book again at any time 👍

A great hotel! We have spent our summer vacation here several times. The whole Kachelot team is always friendly and helpful. The breakfast and dinner leave nothing to be desired. We will come back in any case!

I love every one of my stays in the hotel and also in the holiday apartments in the house next door that are managed by the hotel. The staff is super friendly & helpful. The rooms are modern and clean. The new highlight is the sauna on the top floor with an outdoor terrace. If you are looking for great accommodation, you have come to the right place.

Classic 4 star hotel exactly in line with the category. Price performance is rather mediocre, but clean, tidy and good beds...which is a decisive criterion for us. Room cleaning only on request, breakfast plentiful and of good quality, reception only occupied part of the time, which is actually not typical for a 4 star hotel, location in the city center but quiet... all in all quite okay, a bit simple...

Nevertheless, there was something to smile about on the last morning, we were asked 1 minute after our breakfast time to vacate the space for the next coming guests, that would be ok. if there hadn't been several tables free next to us ......... so we started the day smiling ........

I can only recommend the Hotel Strandvilla Janine. The location is perfect, the beach and shops are only a few minutes' walk away. The personnel is very friendly and courteous. The rooms are very well equipped and clean. We particularly recommend the breakfast buffet, which is lovingly stocked with everything your heart desires. I will visit the hotel again.

Simply a great, lovingly run hotel. Great modern decor, mega comfortable bed, great bathroom with rain shower and the staff very, very attentive and friendly. The breakfast buffet is the best I've had in years! Fresh food arranged with a lot of love and appetizing! Highly recommended in every way!

Great value on Borkum. Close to beach and old lighthouse in town center. Check-out time was too early for us, but maybe 10am is normal here. Amazing breakfast

The Najade is an owner-managed house outside the center of Borkum. It is close to the south beach. About 3 restaurants are within walking distance. Supermarket and bike rental are nearby. The rooms are spacious with good beds! A garden plot belongs to the house, the only thing missing here is a shelter for bicycles.

This is our first vacation here, we think it's great. The hotel is for us 54J. and 61 years Perfect. The room is comfortably furnished and the breakfast has everything your heart desires. They are all very nice and we feel very comfortable.
