Great hotel, very friendly staff, great breakfast. We had a very nice and big room with a great bathroom. Everything is newly renovated. The location of the hotel is right on the waterfront. And the best dogs are allowed too. We will be happy to come back.

We always like to come back to the North Sea Hotel. The beds are very comfortable, the breakfast is rich and delicious, the staff is nice and of course the location is very good. In bad weather you have the possibility to make tea or coffee in your room or take a walk around the Friesenterme. The rooms with a view of the lake have binoculars so you have a good view of the seal beach.

Dear all, Perfect place to stay. Breakfast was like in the Haven. The only minus was the professionalism of Anna Schmidt.

A very nice hotel. The room was very clean, the bathroom was newly renovated. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. The breakfast is plentiful and tasty. It is only a few meters to the lake promenade and the new lighthouse is right in front of the door. We would love to come back.

We were on Borkum for 7 days. The hotel is in a beautiful location. A bit out of the way but accessible by taxi, bus and bike. From there you can take beautiful walks through the dunes. Breakfast was varied. Very good dinner. Very friendly staff.

I love every one of my stays in the hotel and also in the holiday apartments in the house next door that are managed by the hotel. The staff is super friendly & helpful. The rooms are modern and clean. The new highlight is the sauna on the top floor with an outdoor terrace. If you are looking for great accommodation, you have come to the right place.

Classic 4 star hotel exactly in line with the category. Price performance is rather mediocre, but clean, tidy and good beds...which is a decisive criterion for us. Room cleaning only on request, breakfast plentiful and of good quality, reception only occupied part of the time, which is actually not typical for a 4 star hotel, location in the city center but quiet... all in all quite okay, a bit simple...

We had a few very relaxing days in the beach villa Janine. We felt very comfortable and recovered well. The atmosphere of the house is very nice, because old things are well combined with modern things. We would love to come back to the villa again and are already looking forward to it.

The breakfast was ample and satisfying. The hotel staff and the manager were very attending and our room was tidy and clean.

A great hotel, good hygiene concept and an excellent breakfast. Guest requests are also met whenever possible. Nevertheless, there was something to smile about on the last morning, we were asked 1 minute after our breakfast time to vacate the space for the next coming guests, that would be ok. if there hadn't been several tables free next to us ......... so we started the day smiling ........

I can only recommend the Hotel Strandvilla Janine. The location is perfect, the beach and shops are only a few minutes' walk away. The personnel is very friendly and courteous. The rooms are very well equipped and clean. We particularly recommend the breakfast buffet, which is lovingly stocked with everything your heart desires. I will visit the hotel again.

Simply a great, lovingly run hotel. Great modern decor, mega comfortable bed, great bathroom with rain shower and the staff very, very attentive and friendly. The breakfast buffet is the best I've had in years! Fresh food arranged with a lot of love and appetizing! Highly recommended in every way!

The Najade is an owner-managed house outside the center of Borkum. It is close to the south beach. About 3 restaurants are within walking distance. Supermarket and bike rental are nearby. The rooms are spacious with good beds! A garden plot belongs to the house, the only thing missing here is a shelter for bicycles.

This is our first vacation here, we think it's great. The hotel is for us 54J. and 61 years Perfect. The room is comfortably furnished and the breakfast has everything your heart desires. They are all very nice and we feel very comfortable.

We've stayed at many hotels on Borkum, but we absolutely love the Inselhof the best! The rooms are spacious and comfortably furnished. We've rarely slept so well in a bed; they're very comfortable. The breakfast is highly recommended; you get everything your heart desires. From freshly squeezed orange juice to equally freshly prepared egg dishes that don't come from a tetra pack. We had booked the guest house at the end of '24 (still Rias Beach House at that time) and arrived on April 24th, 2025...unfortunately we weren't happy with the bed, among other things...we complained about that at the reception in the Inselhof and within an hour the very nice receptionist had a room ready for us in the main building...the room was great and the breakfast buffet and the service staff...

We were served very courteously and had a delicious dinner, although we weren't registered during Corona times, we got a place with a wonderful view of the sea. The food was fresh and tasty.

This was our second time in the hotel. The rooms have been renovated. It has become very cozy and beautiful. Breakfast at the buffet rich and tasty. The staff tried very hard. There was even an apple pie for my wife's birthday. We have already booked for 2022.

If you have the room at the back, it can be very noisy during the day. There are lots of children playing there, and they are right to let off steam there. Unfortunately, due to the construction, it is twice as loud. Otherwise the hotel is ok.

The location is great for the town, 1 minute for the train, 5 minutes to the beach. The little park outside is great for sitting and watching the world go by. We would have happily stayed longer.

Very friendly welcome, we were offered a coffee on arrival. The room was very nice and modern. Kettle and a large TV was also available. The bathroom was great. All in all, everything was very clean. We also felt very comfortable in the breakfast room. Even on Sunday there was fresh bread from the bakery. The personnel is very friendly and courteous. We look forward to the next visit 🙂👍

We stayed in the Kleine Möwe house. It would have been nice if we had been informed beforehand that the registration is in Haus Borkum and that the time for registration is from 3pm to 6pm. There is no indication of this in the Kleine Möwe house and the restaurant owner can react to constant questions depending on how things are going on the day. The room service is not good for the price of the upscale...

The single room was perfectly adequate for my needs, lovingly furnished, and very clean – you can tell that the hotel has been built with passion. We stayed there with the whole family (4 rooms) for a long weekend to celebrate a milestone birthday. Everything was perfect. The manageress gave us a very friendly, personal welcome. Our wishes were taken into account, and the breakfast table was specially set for the birthday. Everyone slept well and felt at home. I definitely recommend the hotel 👍🏽

I was on the island for a short weekend trip in March and stayed in Villa Ems. Price and location were the deciding factors for me in advance. After my stay I can only say positive things. I felt very comfortable. Located on the second floor (no elevator, but not a problem for me), overlooking the train station. You can't hear anything from outside when the window is closed. The location of the traditional house is unbeatable - get out of the small train, cross the street once, and you get into the beautiful atmosphere of the traditional house. There were wonderful days in the Villa Ems. You can't beat the location. The tourist train stops right at the hotel, restaurants and shops are right in front of the door and the promenade is less than two minutes.
