Nice hotel - clean rooms, a nice (small) sauna. Very good breakfast. Overlooking the valley and adjacent to the beautiful castle. No complaints and would recommend.

Excellent staff. They were very helpful in making all local arrangements including taxi. Perfect location between old town and new town. Rooms are spacious and quiet. Wholesome breakfast. Good restaurant for dinner. Highly recommended.

Good hotel with excellent location, friendly personnel, delicious breakfast. One point was reduced due to a very strange mattress and pillow. The mattress was like a hammock...and it was strange to see that there was no first aid ⛑️ box at the reception when someone asked for a plaster. But as said, the service was very friendly. Did not have a chance to check the spa area, but next time, for sure

Good solid hotel. Courteous staff. Honeycombs available for breakfast. Could have a bit more milk and yoghurt options for the lactose intolerant. Or at least label your yoghurt selection. Not a fancy place but nothing to complain about. Here for just an overnight stay. Dunno about the price.

...the rooms are large and very comfortable, the food is excellent, the SPA is excellent, the wifi could be better .. we will come back again .. great service ..

We just went to the restaurant. Traditional Bavarian cuisine, as well as grilled meats that are well done, perfectly cooked and well accompanied. No real surprises, the food is quality, the service is fast and the staff is friendly.

I like this hotel despite its small size. It is located right in the Old Town of Burghausen surrounded by an antique environment and exotic scenery. There are many places worth visting around. Located in the old town, bottom of the burg. 30 min walk to the train station. And as in 2019, the internet is crawling like in 1999. But I guess it is a general situation in Germany.

I dined here in Feb 2017 and March 2018. They serve delicious German fare. I ordered potato soup and my husband got the pot roast and we ate every last bite. We also got a couple of drinks and I think it ended up costing €25. The staff is friendly and helpful. They didn't speak much English but we're able to understand my broken German. Great place to stay with great enmities. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and we'll equipped. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was great with a great choice. The sauna was well equipped and very clean. I had a very enjoyable two night stay. I definitely recommend this if you are in Burghausen.

Very good hotel in the center of the town. Rooms and furniture are not ultra new but pretty good. Lot of free parking near the hotel as well as paid parking in their garage. Breakfast is decent. Very good internet connection as compared to other hotels in the town. Close to many restaurants. I always stay here when in Burgahusen and the staff is very friendly and helpful.

Rooms are decent. Not ultra modern but very clean. Breakfast is good too. All the staff are very friendly and helpful. There are few rooms with separate kitchen and study rooms. One of the best things in the hotel is its Internet connection. Overall i always prefer this hotel when i am in Burghausen.

I come here for a week or so every couple of years. The staff here remember me each time, which is quite impressive. The rooms are nice and clean. The breakfast is simple, which is what I like. If you want something substantial, you will need to go somewhere else to eat. Wi-Fi is good and free.

The place to go in the Chiemgau/Salzburg region, if you are looking for an authentic hotel in a historic surrounding, here: an old Cistercensian monastery founded in the 12th century. The rooms inside the old and thick walls are spacious and tastefully decorated. You sleep in comfortable bed inside a baroque style picture frame. The bathroom is fittingly decorated with black and golden glazed tiles...

Nice and calm place to stay overnight. However, it is a bit off the village centre, which which visitors may want to take into consideration. Nice garden restaurant and spacious rooms.

Just been to the restaurant. Awesome food, very traditional Bavarian atmosphere and very friendly staff. We can only recommend this place. The Michelin star is absolutely justified.

Spent 2 nights here and found it to be a very pleasant experience. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room is quite standard, nothing special. Is has most things that you need. Cleanliness is not top of the list. Breakfast wasn't too bad. You have a good choice.

very friendly staff, good bourgeois ambiance, always clean. Frequently changing menu, a good Mix of fancy, down-to-earth, regional and seasonal dishes, always prepared, and if something is not perfect is the staff responds immediately and directly to complaints. In my opinion the best home-style Restaurant in a large radius. Recommendation for the onion roast and especially the game dishes.

Gute, saubere Zimmer -gutes Frühstück - gutes Preis-Leitungsverhältnis - freundliche Bedienung. Aber Vorsicht im Sommer gibts in der Auen der Salzach jede Menge MÜCKEN - also Fenster zu lassen - oder Insektenstick - Mückensspray etc. mitnehmen..

We had lunch here, nothing spectacular. They had bayerische food. Outdoor sitting available. Price is reasonable for the quantity. We had fish.

This concerns only the restaurant — cheerful, adequate food, not particularly cheap. If you’re looking for Bavarian food, you should try the restaurant across the square.

The hotel is located at old town of Burghausen. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast offered is very nice and Wifi is offered free of charge.

Very nice place to stay in Burghausen. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Large, immaculate rooms, with big bathrooms as well. Breakfast was excellent with a great selection of homemade baked goods. I would love to have the chance to return to the Bayrischer Hof.

Best location , very ideal for Business trips and also value for money. The rooms are very clean and modern.

For money you pay you might be expecting to get a little bit fancier, but … 1. It fullils genral needs for business travelers and included minibar is a nice surprice. 2. Breakfast is Ok and people used to big hotels are still able to get scrumbles eggs and sousage. ? 3. Room rate was significantly lower than other larger hotels in the immediate area. Rooms were nice and facilities were clean. Great breakfast buffet. Staff were friendly. However, wifi coverage was not reliable and we were only able to shower twice in a 10-day period because there was no hot water (we complained about it several times, to no avail).

Bei unserer Ankunft waren wir sehr überrascht und hocherfreut über die wunderbare Außenanlage und als wir die JHB betraten, kamen wir aus dem Staunen nicht mehr heraus. Mit ganz viel Liebe zum Detail, zeigten sich die lichtdurchfluteten Räume - modern und einfach zum Wohlfühlen. Positiv war auch, dass man schon um 16 Uhr einchecken konnte, nicht erst um 17 Uhr. Eine sehr freundliche Dame erklärte...

Really nice place! Freshly renewed and in a really nice spot near the river. Only bad thing is that there was no hot water in the morning, we kept asking the guy at the reception and he told the same to everyone, that I was the first to complain xD

Recently renovated, offers a good service for travelers. A bit too expensive for being a hostel and quite far away from big cities though.

Service very good, nice and competent. Rooms clean and original. Breakfast left nothing to be desired. Parking spaces are too small for a larger van.

Great staff, good food, but the rooms would need a little more TLC, as our Aircon was not working (great with 26C in the room) and the blinds also did not work.

I had the suite under the roof in spring 2020 and was very satisfied. Jacuzzi and sauna, comfortable bed, clean and cozy but not old-fashioned. The entire staff is very friendly. Exemplary implementation of the Corona requirements. If you arrive late for breakfast, the rolls are a bit dry, but this is compensated for by enough alternatives. Will come again on occasion!

The hotel is quite comfortable, the price level fits. The different room types that are available are very nice. The breakfast buffet offers a good selection of cold cuts, bacon, scrambled eggs, fruit etc. The staff are very friendly.

When I looked around to find a place I passed this , at the end the price got my attention. I do not regret taking it . The service was great. Room is just lot of great things, bathroom was nice clean and big . Room very clean, bed was very comfortable. Should have some explaining about WiFi .

This is a pretty awesome find. The hotel like many is a bit dated. But it adds to the charm of an old town setting. The rooms are so fun. They have great themes and amenities in the rooms. Need a jacuzzi, they have it, how a steam room, I just finished mine. It's fun, you're going to love it.

The staff are genuinely friendly and accommodating. The infra red sauna in my room had a very high top temperature, excellent. The bed was high quality. I slept much better than i normally do. And it was extra convenient to be able to use their electric vehicle charging station. I found myself wishing that i could stay for longer

A unique hotel. Really great. Each room has either a Sauna or some other hot wet room or a water bed. You can choose is available. The "bath room" has also extraordinary design. And there is a 18m pool in the house. Very polite and professional service. Really good restaurant. For me as a business traveler, a great place to stay.

The boss received us personally, we were in this hotel for the monastery market in September 2021. Got the wedding room, a very large, spacious one; the hotel is very clean and well maintained. The breakfast buffet a highlight. Highly recommended! !!! The restaurant was closed at the time.

Get a beautiful room with a bay window and 5 windows. Comfortable beds. Bicycles could be parked worn out. The young man at the front desk was a bit "annoyed" and expressed this verbally - a shame.

Over time, the restaurant has lost its appeal in cooking. The dumplings were undercooked. The staff is a little underworked! Such a great central location - requires better service!

It is very well located. It has parking. In its lower part is a large restaurant and on the first floor are the rooms. It has a very strong smell of food. But to come on a pilgrimage it is excellent.

We were only guests in the restaurant ... in the afternoon ... still the full lunch menu. One roast pork with potato dumplings and salad, one pork loin, spaetzle with rilz cream and salad, both large portions and well seasoned. Slightly higher in price. We were satisfied and can recommend it to others.

This is the ideal place for a pilgrim to the Shrine of Our Lady of Altotting. Nice bedding, big room with nice big bath for only 68 euros... we *think* including breakfast (Pretty sure). Dinner was awesome -- real Bavarian. Our waiter doesn't speak English but sooo friendly and sweet. But I'm amazed at the quality of the bedding and the size of the room for this price -- such a surprise. The people...

Very good staff, breakfast was ok and interior of hotel is nice. The problem is with bed and pillows. It is so soft that almost you can't go up from there. I woke up with huge pain in my neck. And there is no sleepers in the room.....
