Nice hotel - clean rooms, a nice (small) sauna. Very good breakfast. Overlooking the valley and adjacent to the beautiful castle. No complaints and would recommend.

Excellent staff. They were very helpful in making all local arrangements including taxi. Perfect location between old town and new town. Rooms are spacious and quiet. Wholesome breakfast. Good restaurant for dinner. Highly recommended.

Good hotel with excellent location, friendly personnel, delicious breakfast. One point was reduced due to a very strange mattress and pillow. The mattress was like a hammock...and it was strange to see that there was no first aid ⛑️ box at the reception when someone asked for a plaster. But as said, the service was very friendly. Did not have a chance to check the spa area, but next time, for sure

Good solid hotel. Courteous staff. Honeycombs available for breakfast. Could have a bit more milk and yoghurt options for the lactose intolerant. Or at least label your yoghurt selection. Not a fancy place but nothing to complain about. Here for just an overnight stay. Dunno about the price.

Excellent breakfast and food in the restaurant Clean rooms

We just went to the restaurant. Traditional Bavarian cuisine, as well as grilled meats that are well done, perfectly cooked and well accompanied. No real surprises, the food is quality, the service is fast and the staff is friendly.

It is nice Hotel with very good service, staff is friendly and helpful, and meal was top..delicious. Ambiente is relaxing and beautiful...it is one of place where you want to visit again !

For money you pay you might be expecting to get a little bit fancier, but … 1. It fullils genral needs for business travelers and included minibar is a nice surprice. 2. Breakfast is Ok and people used to big hotels are still able to get scrumbles eggs and sousage. ? 3. When I looked around to find a place I passed this , at the end the price got my attention. I do not regret taking it . The service was great. Room is just lot of great things, bathroom was nice clean and big . Room very clean, bed was very comfortable. Should have some explaining about WiFi .

This is a pretty awesome find. The hotel like many is a bit dated. But it adds to the charm of an old town setting. The rooms are so fun. They have great themes and amenities in the rooms. Need a jacuzzi, they have it, how a steam room, I just finished mine. It's fun, you're going to love it.

The staff are genuinely friendly and accommodating. The infra red sauna in my room had a very high top temperature, excellent. The bed was high quality. I slept much better than i normally do. And it was extra convenient to be able to use their electric vehicle charging station. I found myself wishing that i could stay for longer

A unique hotel. Really great. Each room has either a Sauna or some other hot wet room or a water bed. You can choose is available. The "bath room" has also extraordinary design. And there is a 18m pool in the house. Very polite and professional service. Really good restaurant. For me as a business traveler, a great place to stay.

We stopped at this hotel/restaurant today for lunch during our youth vocational pilgrimage with a group of 54. From start to finish, the experience was wonderful. The staff were incredibly accommodating, friendly, and efficient. The food was absolutely delicious—everyone left satisfied! Flew in from Texas specifically to see the pilgrimage churches and Christmas market in Altotting. Two nights at Munchner Hoff right on the square. Very nice room, and friendly and helpful staff! Breakfast in the restaurant was very good. Will be back.

After we visited the Chapel and the churches. We decided to have coffee and cake. They have good cakes as well coffee and Latte Machiatto. Service is also good. It was nice weather so we sitted outside it was beautiful to see the surrounding of Altötting.

The location near the thermal baths is ideal. I was accommodated in the neighboring house. The room was small and clean. The bed was very comfortable. Unfortunately, the breakfast buffet didn't convince me. The coffee was a bit weak and the goods on display didn't always seem fresh to me. Otherwise very nice service.

Have vacationed there, it is the only hotel for a long time where we got fresh rolls in the morning and not the baked ones from the big market. The whole staff is super friendly and helpful. The only thing that bothered us is that the rooms and the dining room are too warm. There is really no air conditioning there. Otherwise we liked it very much and that for a three star hotel. Great

Relatively old, traditional hotel that might have been a 4 or 5 star many years ago. The room was sufficient but lacked any kind of character. The service in the evening was non existent, the breakfast team very helpful instead. The location is great in the middle of the city

Went to Traunstein with my wife and ended up on this charming hotel. No problem accommodating the late arrival, room was clean but a bit long in the tooth, a good breakfast rounded off the impromptu visit. The hotel is great! In prime location for shops and restaurants. The room was large and very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was buffet style with eggs and bacon along with plenty of fresh veggies and fruit. Absolutely loved the juice bar , you can squeeze your own juice if desired. Hotel Schaider is a beautiful place. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. The room was super clean. The breakfast was really good. A good variety of delicious breakfast items. Even though it is just a little outside of Salzburg, I highly recommend it. If I ever come back to the area, I will stay there again.

Modest family hotel in the middle of golf haven of Bad Griesbach. We came here several years ago when the kids were younger and they enjoyed the football camp as well as the local area. Incredibly inconsistent. Actually not quite: the staff was excellent and very courteous. 👍 The rest inexplicably varied between very good and awful. Tbh, there's too much to describe here. Recommended? Depends on your expectations. Vacation with the kids? Yes. Golf? Yes. Romantic getaway? Depends on your expectations. 4 star superior? Kind of. Spa/wellness? Yes!

It was a nice place, breakfast was fine, but the room never warmed up full heat cold all night. Maybe just our room but dang chilly...

So far, it was OK with room for improvement. The hotel was OK for 3 days. After reading some reports and comparisons beforehand, we booked the hotel with half board. The cozy room was a double room with a connecting door to the neighboring room. Actually a no-go for us. Dogs were also allowed in the hotel, but we had no information about that either.

We stayed 3 days in this hotel, we took a suite and I must say that it was really spacious, bright and new. The bathroom is functional and large enough. As for the Wellness area, perhaps an extra shower would not be bad, in fact there is only one while there are 4 in the pool area. The outdoor pool is heated. Sunbeds and towels are included. Very nice hotel, very good for relaxing. Both receptionists were super nice and polite. The food is also very tasty, but definitely too expensive: dinner costs € 25 per person per day, drinks have to be paid for. On the second day we went to the Asian restaurant, where it was a lot cheaper. But still, gladly again! Thank you very much! ☺️
