Nice hotel - clean rooms, a nice (small) sauna. Very good breakfast. Overlooking the valley and adjacent to the beautiful castle. No complaints and would recommend.

Excellent staff. They were very helpful in making all local arrangements including taxi. Perfect location between old town and new town. Rooms are spacious and quiet. Wholesome breakfast. Good restaurant for dinner. Highly recommended.

Good hotel with excellent location, friendly personnel, delicious breakfast. One point was reduced due to a very strange mattress and pillow. The mattress was like a hammock...and it was strange to see that there was no first aid ⛑️ box at the reception when someone asked for a plaster. But as said, the service was very friendly. Did not have a chance to check the spa area, but next time, for sure

Good solid hotel. Courteous staff. Honeycombs available for breakfast. Could have a bit more milk and yoghurt options for the lactose intolerant. Or at least label your yoghurt selection. Not a fancy place but nothing to complain about. Here for just an overnight stay. Dunno about the price.

Excellent breakfast and food in the restaurant Clean rooms

We just went to the restaurant. Traditional Bavarian cuisine, as well as grilled meats that are well done, perfectly cooked and well accompanied. No real surprises, the food is quality, the service is fast and the staff is friendly.

It is nice Hotel with very good service, staff is friendly and helpful, and meal was top..delicious. Ambiente is relaxing and beautiful...it is one of place where you want to visit again !

Nice hotel not very near Munich

Great place to stay with great enmities. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and we'll equipped. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was great with a great choice. The sauna was well equipped and very clean. I had a very enjoyable two night stay. I definitely recommend this if you are in Burghausen.

Very good hotel in the center of the town. Rooms and furniture are not ultra new but pretty good. Lot of free parking near the hotel as well as paid parking in their garage. Breakfast is decent. Very good internet connection as compared to other hotels in the town. Close to many restaurants. I always stay here when in Burgahusen and the staff is very friendly and helpful.

I almost always stay here on my business trips to BGH. It is a great hotel with reliable wifi.

The place to go in the Chiemgau/Salzburg region, if you are looking for an authentic hotel in a historic surrounding, here: an old Cistercensian monastery founded in the 12th century. The rooms inside the old and thick walls are spacious and tastefully decorated. You sleep in comfortable bed inside a baroque style picture frame. The bathroom is fittingly decorated with black and golden glazed tiles...

Nice and calm place to stay overnight. However, it is a bit off the village centre, which which visitors may want to take into consideration. Nice garden restaurant and spacious rooms.

Guests liked the clean bathrooms, though some said they could be improved · Rooms had views.

Spent 2 nights here and found it to be a very pleasant experience. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room is quite standard, nothing special. Is has most things that you need. Cleanliness is not top of the list. Breakfast wasn't too bad. You have a good choice.

very friendly staff, good bourgeois ambiance, always clean. Frequently changing menu, a good Mix of fancy, down-to-earth, regional and seasonal dishes, always prepared, and if something is not perfect is the staff responds immediately and directly to complaints. In my opinion the best home-style Restaurant in a large radius. Recommendation for the onion roast and especially the game dishes.

Gute, saubere Zimmer -gutes Frühstück - gutes Preis-Leitungsverhältnis - freundliche Bedienung. Aber Vorsicht im Sommer gibts in der Auen der Salzach jede Menge MÜCKEN - also Fenster zu lassen - oder Insektenstick - Mückensspray etc. mitnehmen..

We had lunch here, nothing spectacular. They had bayerische food. Outdoor sitting available. Price is reasonable for the quantity. We had fish.

This concerns only the restaurant — cheerful, adequate food, not particularly cheap. If you’re looking for Bavarian food, you should try the restaurant across the square.

The hotel is located at old town of Burghausen. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast offered is very nice and Wifi is offered free of charge.

Very nice place to stay in Burghausen. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Large, immaculate rooms, with big bathrooms as well. Breakfast was excellent with a great selection of homemade baked goods. I would love to have the chance to return to the Bayrischer Hof.

Best location , very ideal for Business trips and also value for money. The rooms are very clean and modern.

For money you pay you might be expecting to get a little bit fancier, but … 1. It fullils genral needs for business travelers and included minibar is a nice surprice. 2. Breakfast is Ok and people used to big hotels are still able to get scrumbles eggs and sousage. ? 3. Bei unserer Ankunft waren wir sehr überrascht und hocherfreut über die wunderbare Außenanlage und als wir die JHB betraten, kamen wir aus dem Staunen nicht mehr heraus. Mit ganz viel Liebe zum Detail, zeigten sich die lichtdurchfluteten Räume - modern und einfach zum Wohlfühlen. Positiv war auch, dass man schon um 16 Uhr einchecken konnte, nicht erst um 17 Uhr. Eine sehr freundliche Dame erklärte...

Amazing buffet and cozy rooms 💝

Really nice place! Freshly renewed and in a really nice spot near the river. Only bad thing is that there was no hot water in the morning, we kept asking the guy at the reception and he told the same to everyone, that I was the first to complain xD

Recently renovated, offers a good service for travelers. A bit too expensive for being a hostel and quite far away from big cities though.
