Just 10 minutes walk from the train station to the hotel. Located directly behind the dam of the harbour. Just 5-10 minutes walk to the city centre with shops and restaurants. We got an upgrade. Fantastic stay! We can fully recommend this hotel for a weekend getaway. I lost something at the hotel that I only noticed when I got home. One call was enough, it was taken care of immediately, found and sent to me! The service in this hotel is really great all around. Even after departure!

We felt super comfortable! Free upgrade, friendly welcome, great breakfast, great modernized wellness area with two saunas, friendly staff and coffee/tea and cake/cookies in the afternoon. Very quiet location, but you can still quickly reach the harbor and the dike on foot. The other guests were older, but it was also the perfect place for us as a younger couple to relax. 4 days holiday in this hotel with a dog and we would love to come back for longer. The trend is towards 5 stars and unfortunately I only had to deduct small things (noise from the street with the window open, weak hair dryer, towel change was not complete). We had booked the grand suite. The room has a sufficiently large balcony, a kitchen with fridge, microwave, dishwasher, stove with oven and a large dining table. I was there month ago, it was a good hotel for a good price. +The room was clean and good. - No one was there to answer after 21:00 -But we had problem with heating and it was not warm at all, after many calls a service man had came checked everything and said it is so and specially the heater and towel dryer in the bathroom is just as a decoration there!

Last weekend we stayed at the Hotel Windjammer for the first time after the renovation. The rooms have become very nice, super modern and spacious with a seating area and writing facilities. The breakfast was great, as always, so much choice and every day at least 5-6 salads all homemade, pickled vegetables etc. etc. just great! We will be back!!
