Where to stay in Celle

Very friendly and helpful staff, and an amazing room in the beautiful historic building - really lovely.

Unfortunately we were unable to stay at this hotel because they were closed due to COVID, however we did have the pleasure of taking some of our wedding photos there while we were in town. My review is based purely on the hospitality of management staff for going out of their way and doing us a favor to allow us and take photo's in their hotel... coming to unlock the building for us personally. Amazing breakfast.

The Furstenhof is my go to hotel whenever I visit Celle. Rooms are great and the staff are really attentive to make your stay a pleasure.

Great location, less than 10 minutes to city center.

5 star hotel in Celle. Really beautiful place, although expensive to eat and drink at the hotel when it’s inexpensive to eat and drink 5 minutes down the road in town.

Good, adapted the breakfast to covid with lunch box. Nice, in the center of celle

We stayed here while in town for our wedding during COVID. I would highly recommend this hotel, they were extremely responsive, took care with COVID measures, and allowed us to have a relaxing safe and enjoyable wedding weekend. The family Schnapps was just an added bonus to a wonderful stay. Highly recommend if your in the area.

The cleanest hotel I have ever seen! The staff is professional, polite, and very hard working. Breakfast is amazing and dinner meals are extraordinary! Wish I could give 6 stars.

Nice hotel in perfect condition which also has a good spa. Nice and frendly staff. Located a little bit outside of Celle, which requires a car or taxi if you're going into town. Hotel perfection makes it well worth a taxi to get to restaurants and shops. Can highly recommended this hotel. Perfect hotel for those who travel down in Europe.

This is a relatively small hotel near the city centre. The owner and members of the staff are very helpful and make you feel at home. With a very clean room and bathroom and an excellent breakfast, this is the place to stay when visiting the beautiful city of Celle

This is my first time to visit Europe. I booked this hotel and stayed for one night only, as I will continue to other city in Germany. This hotel was awesome! Best hotel in a small city, Celle. This is a lovely hotel in a lovely city. The hotel is perfectly located on the edge of the old city, ideal for exploring on foot after driving to the hotel and parking your car. The room that we had was nicely decorated and appointed. And the hotel is very convenient to an excellent restaurant. If I go back to Celle, I will stay there again, and am happy to recommend it without reservation.

The hotel location is very central and the underground carpark is very secure. The staff we have encountered were all very helpful. We had a room on the ground floor not far from the breakfast room. The room is fairly spacious with an access to the garden. The mattress & the pillows were firm as we like. The bathroom with tub is also fairly spacious for 2. Being a 3* hotel it is really great. There's even a sauna which you can use for an additional 5€ incl. water, slippers and bathrobe. Visited the hotel for 2 nights during the week, clean & tidy and serves breakfast. The surrounding area has some nice places to eat and drink, parking is limited and there is a garage which can be booked. Some rooms have better views than others and the entire bottle bank was emptied at 5am then followed by the church bells from 6am onwards, if your getting up early then its not so bad. Amazing breakfast, fresh and a good selection. We stayed at the apartment that was of a decent size for a family of four. Outside is a relaxing garden with a few swings for the kids. Friendly staff. A bit off from the old center town, takes about 20 minutes to walk.

The Hotel was very nice and everyone was friendly. The only thing that bugged me was that the cleaning personel didnt knock before coming into the room to clean. Other then that, it was very good.

Immaculate presentation, helpful and friendly staff. It was a warm evening and after a long journey it was a delight just to be able to sit and relax in the garden. Breakfast generous and of high quality.

A good value for money. The yard is nice for sitting outside on a warm evening, having a drink or a bite. Clean rooms, good shower, no air conditioning. The old town is a 20-minute walk away. There is a good supermarket (Combi) almost next door.

Rooms are ok, although a bit old style. Breakfast was nice buffet with great assortment. Biggest disappointment was that the shower was broken and not properly cleaned.

Stayed at the Heidekönig in August 2018, 4 adults and 2 small children. Good service, nice rooms and good food in the restaurant. The hotel is close to the centre of town and the railway station. Plenty of free parking if you come by car. Recommended and I would stay there again!

Stayed here for 2 weeks due to work, OK stay but the room I had was not clean. Spiderweb in the roofs and it smells sewer in the bathroom. Had to move the bed, because I lost something under it. It was clearly many moths since it was cleaned there.

Surprisingly good, clean, small, afordable hotel, here in Germany. Very good breakfast , I know it sounds like a Clischee but it's true! The rooms are very cosy and nice, only the matreses for heavy people might be soft. The hotel has a newly renovated twin hotel "The village" located nearby. So you can look at it if you need more Luxus. The friendly staff is friendly :)

The property was well situated outside Celle, quiet and perfect for dog walking. The staff and owner were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was wonderful, so many varieties of good food and more than enough. A huge plus and value for money.
